This table is lovingly hand-crafted from a single plank of genuine mahogany by Chris Blake (blook.com). It's 18" tall, 62" long, and 25" deep. The table top was resawn in half and opened in a "bookmatch" format, showing a mirror-image of matching grain side-by-side. The aprons, legs, and stretchers all came from the same board. The ends of the table top are breadboarded, providing an attractive accent and lateral strenth. The breadboards were attached with a hidden mortise and tenon and drawbored (an old-world technique). The table is signed and numbered and comes with a hard-bound picture book chronicling its creation.

Designed with pure, clean, modern balance. Hand-made over the course of 4 1/2 months. No corners cut, attention paid to every detail.

Hand-cut "finger" joinery.

Interior dimensions: 9 1/2" x 4 3/4" x 4." Fits Kleenex Ultra Soft nicely, or similar.
