Our pads are made with a 60%bamboo 40%organic cotton (oeko tex-100 certified), and a 70%bamboo 30%organic cotton french terry (oeko tex-100 certified), and include a free insertable two layer liner, making 6 layers of absorbacy. The fabrics we use are quite thin, because bamboo is up to 60% more absorbant than cotton, not to mention super soft. Thin and comfortable

Bamboo is environmentally sustainable to grow. Some processes used to make bamboo into fabric are quite the opposite. The oeko tex certification means that the harsh chemicals they test for are not present in the product or process. We source our fabrics with high standards for sustainablility, for the Earth, and the people involved in production.

Why Bamboo?

- incredibly absorbant, means less bulky - wicks moisture away from the skin
- hypo allergenic, antimicrobrial properties
- breathable, biodegradable
- bamboo is a very fast growing plant, requiring no pesticides or herbicides, making it a sustainable renewable resource

Suggested Care:
Soak the pads in a jar of cold water for a couple hours(I recommend soaking twice to prevent staining). We recommend hand washing in cold water with a gentle, biodegradable soap, and hanging to dry in the sun (prevents staining). The thin nature of the pads makes them quick to dry...on a clothes line on a sunny day they'll be dry within hours.
The pads are machine washer and dryer safe - soak and rinse, then throw in the laundry (cold cycle) with your other colours.

You know those first couple days of your cycle, when you feel like you could bleed through anything and everything? That's what these pads are for. Still, surprisingly thin, and so comfortable.

Made from an extra absorbant blend of natural materials, not only will these hold up to your heavy flow, but your vulva will still be able to breathe!

There are four layers of pad, and a bonus insertable two layers of liner. Made using a 70% bamboo viscose and 30% organic cotton fleece, and a 70% bamboo viscose and 30% organic cotton french terry. All fabrics used are 100% Oeko-Tex Certified. They are made to last, stitched, serged, flipped, and top stitched, for years and years of enjoyment.

Bamboo is so soft, highly absorbant, breathable, hypoallergenic, antimicrobrial.

Care instruactions:
After use soak in a jar of cold water for a couple of hours (I recommend soaking twice to prevent staining).
You can either hand wash and hang to dry or throw in the washing machine with the rest of your coloured laundry. Dryer safe, but I recommend hanging in the sun to prevent staining.
Do not use bleach on these pads. You can use vinegar in your soak for an extra good clean.
*tip - hand washing in the shower helps minimize water waste.

The top stitching helps to draw fluid into the centre of the pad, and prevents awkward bunching. Stitched, surged, flipped and top stitched, these babies are built to last.

Pads can be hand washed in cold water, with non gentle soaps between uses, or put into the washing machine with the rest of your clothing.
