THESE IMAGES~are from my chakra symbol designs. (that big bead shown here has them in it) I saw many here in cyber space; I went off on my own and mixed some doodles into these images. I am really happy with them together. Cut into strips to wrap around the bead, or use them for a focal!

Glass Compatibility:

1) Works well with COE 104, especially clear & white (on clear the decal may fade out if the image is not heavily saturated)

2) Bullseye & System 96 have had good results in testing.

3) Borosilicate glass does fuse; keep it cool!!

Glass Compatibility:

2) Bullseye & System 96 have had good results in testing.

3) Borosilicate glass does fuse; the colors tend to burn out more, and get pixilated if over fired. Encasing can help hold the color.

PEOPLE (I call these my 'soul gestures') taken from a bead series of mine named, BOOGIE DOWN BEADS!! All people were sculpted from glass, removed from photographs in the computer, and made into decals for you! The art becomes a tool!(i'll find some pictures of the beads I made with this decal...for now, you see the discordant batch; one of my faves!)

Lampwork Glass Goddess FOCAL bead

About the glass bead:

The seventh "Lady with a dress". Lightly etched (dipped in acid to create a matte finish). She is a focal bead and a work of art. The hole runs vertical. The design behind her figure represents mountains. This symbolic pattern is inspired by the dzi beads I have been making. The figure is welded on with a light brown glass, and sculpted like clay.

COPPER pendant-I ran 18 gauge copper wire thru the center and added loops to each side. makes for an elegant pendant; or you can cut the wire and make your own..I'll have my photo tech. post a picture soon ;-)

The back of the bead is decorated with lines symbolizing mountains. Twenty one Dots (eyes) are applied and melted into the bead, creating a smooth surface.

This is a one of a kind glass focal bead.

The bead measures; 63 mm tall x 26 mm wide

2-3 mm hole running vertical with the figure. (wound on a 3/32 mandrel)

All of my work is signed in titanium pen; in a discrete location.

The glass in my work is of highest quality, and is manufactured all over the world. I use Moretti, effetre, Vetrofond, CIM, Double Helix, Reichenboch, Schott Crystal, and more. All of my work is created in a flame, one at a time. All glass is annealed for strength in a digitally controlled kiln. The work is cleaned, inspected for flaw, and is as described.

ABOUT THE GLASS BEAD:
Six one of a kind Lily petal murrini are encased and imploded (an explosion!) into crystal clear glass. A bud is made with latticino cane and numerous dots. A beautiful bead.

(These pictures were very hard to take. The macro function picks up bubbles that are so super tiny! It is really hard to capture the actual piece.)

The hole is cleaned with diamond bits, and cerium. The hole is left etched and creates a nice contrast in the center of the bead.

Lampwork Glass MOON GODDESS sculpture focal bead

Transparent Cobalt blue base bead with bits of reactive Kronos glass (by Double Helix glassworks, west coast, USA).
The figure is welded like metal, and sculpted like clay. I love how the Turquoise glass is reduced to red in random spots. A crescent moon is in her gaze, as she protects the Space.

This could be displayed as art all alone, and you can wear it out.

Sculptural Lampwork is really what I am most fascinated with. That, and the fact that an Artist can make art with my art. (Yup! Cuz its a bead, and we seam to have that Universal understanding that we make things with beads.)

Lampwork glass Swan pendant implosion made with millefiori flower petals and a running man

Crystal clear Italian Effetre glass encasing one of a kind floral murrini made by me. The central image is my one of a kind "running man" murrini.

Do you see the swan? The entire pendant is the shape of a swan from the side. (Swans are one of the first American glass art forms.)

The pictures are really giving me a hard time. the colors are just beautiful in person; I am re-taking them right now...
