Single Felted Coaster Fish

This fun little felted coasters is like little tapestries to brighten a room and sit on your coffee table ready to do its coaster duty :-)
Though the photos show other coasters, this listing is for the fish one so people can mix and match all different ones to match their mood and style.
Backed with wool blend felt and hand sewn with the blanket stitch around the edges, they are not particularly thin but they are rockin' coasters.
These coasters vary slightly in size since they are each hand cut and felted but they measure around 4 inches across.
I use reclaimed (clean!) wool blankets as backing to felt on to with each tapestry coaster before I sew it onto the red felt backing.
I realize that these are more punk than Waldorf and they definitely remind me of TheMoonGoat but I have to stay organized and CrazyMomma is for housewares and other fun things while MoonGoat is my little funky art baby so despite the MoonGoat reminiscence these will stay listed in CrazyMomma due to organization and all that jazz.......

BON APPETIT! We love Julia Child and what better way to honor the wonderful tradition of cooking and feasting than with a felted banner reminding us to enjoy our food- what ever our cuisine preferences or lifestyle is!

This is a felted banner made from 100% felted wool onto a recycled (cleaned!) wool blanket back. Each tile is framed/backed with a mustardy yellow wool blend felt. Each tile is about 6 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches tall once complete. I have a lot of fun making these and I love to fill custom orders so contact me for more information.

This would be great to hang in a studio, home, office or classroom, dining room or even a resatuarant.

Sweater Baby Infant Wooly Cuddle Sack

When my children were babies they were constantly cuddled into a wooly sack my mother-in-law sent me from Germany. It was knitted and lovely and we knew our babies would be warm in it.

This little cuddle sack is modeled after that original one. It has my daughter's doll in it because all of my babies have grown tall and would no longer fit.

It was made from a 100% wool sweater that was washed and laid out to dry before being repurposed.

The chest is a bout 20 inches around when "resting" and stretches to about 26 inches.
The length is about 24 inches from shoulder to toe.

As with any item you put on a baby, you shouldn't leave your baby unattended in this little sack. It is perfect for outings on a cold day.

We would bundle our little ones up in layers and sweater and cap and then slip them into the sack and put a little coat over it. Then we were ready for snow in the mountains or a chilly walk next to the river.

UNAVAILABLE Starry Eyed Mushroom Child Doll

This doll and several others like it are now at Gossamer on Burnside in Portland, OR.
I haven't made dolls in a while but I used to do it daily and I loved it.
This little doll is about 6 inches tall. The body is cotton blend velour fabric. Her skin is 100% cotton interlock, she has a core that is clean, carded wool, her hair and her eyes (and her hair) are embroidered with cotton embroidery floss and her little permanent hat is cotton blend velour fabric and wool blend felt. She was handmade with love. She is a floppy style doll so her hands and feet are stuffed (clean, carded wool) and her head and upper core has stuffing but her extremities are floppy- that makes her wonderful for squeezing and taking about with you.

This listing is for 1 doll the last photo shows the dolls hanging out together and is just an example.

This item is not recommended for people who eat or mouth their toys. Parental supervision is always advised.

It has a cable knit pattern to it so when you try to lay it out flat it doesn't show up nice and flat but has contours due to the nature of the sweater. I always try to use 100% wool but sometimes I find a lovely sweater that is mostly wool that I will use but I will always list the wool content so that people know.

The chest is a bout 20 inches around when "resting" and stretches to about 24 inches.
The length is about 23 inches from shoulder to toe.

As with any item you put on a baby, you shouldn't leave your baby unattended in this little sack. It is perfect for outings on a cold day.

"Collecting Strawberries"

This fairy tapestry was needle felted from 100% wool roving. It measures just around 9 inches by 11 inches without the framing. It has been mounted on to wool blend felt and then framed with cotton fabric. With the framing it is somewhere around 12 by 14 inches.
