I was having coffee with my friend Christina the other week, and she was telling me how she needed, really needed, a clipboard for the grocery store with a coupon "thing" attached. Well, that got me thinking. I could totally do that.

This clipboard measures 6" x 9". It is laminated on both the front and back, so it can be wiped clean. The coupon pouch is attached to the back with velcro. It has a button closure and a zipper inside the flap. The pouch can be machine washed and dried.

It is pretty cool. I made one for myself. No more ripped list, no clothes issues because I forgot to wear something with pockets to shove the coupons in...well, you get the idea.

How many times have I lugged the crayons and coloring book into a restaurant, only to have my child complain that she doesn't like any of the pictures? Too many.

This has been a lifesaver. This chalkboard placemat is 15" square. It has laminated cotton on one side, making it a great, clean surface for plates. The other side is a chalkboard fabric that can be drawn on and then wiped clean with a wet cloth (no chemicals, please). It is bound with a checked oil cloth, so all surfaces can just be wiped down.

I found these bird napkins in an antique store. I was a little surprised that ANYTHING from the 70s (including me) is now considered to be antique. Go figure.

These are really happy little "dot" birds. The napkin is attached to the shirt with a sewn-in band. I added an orange contrast fabric to the bottom, so it would look more finished. The shirt is purchased from Old Navy, and it has elastic shirring around the waist, neck and sleeves.

The flower is attached to a pin back and should be removed before washing. The shirt may be machine washed and dried.

This little shift dress is totally reversible. One side is an owl print, with rick rack trim. The other side is a green print, which is totally cool in it's own rite. The shift snaps at the shoulders. It would be a knee length dress on the smaller side of the size, or a longer tunic top on the larger end. Yes, it really will fit that size range. The size pictured is a large, and she is a size 7.

This smurfy dress is so smurftastic that I can hardly smurf it (ok, so that might be a bit much). It makes me chuckle, and I hope it does you too.

The other side is a washable linen with a smurf applique, which is totally cool in it's own rite. The shift snaps at the shoulders. What be cuter than a baby girl in a little dress?

This is a 100% cotton long sleeve dress with attached apron and design motif in the center of the chest. The apron is sewn on, so no matter how much she moves, it won’t go anywhere! The apron strings tie in the back, and are heat treated to prevent fraying. The dress is a drop waist with a cute ruffle on the bottom. The apron is attached higher, to give the illusion of an empire waist dress, which is really cute on babies and little girls. The dress has been prewashed to prevent shrinkage.

The dimensions are as follows:

Size 12-18 months
Height 28" - 31"
Weight 22-26 lbs

The dress is new and has never been worn.

The Itty Bitty Candy Corn Hat - Size 0-6 months

These hats are the whole reason that I learned to knit. Both of my kiddos came home from the hospital wearing them. My daughter was a pumpkin, and my son was a blueberry. They have a level of cuteness that is far, far off the charts.

The hat is made of cotton and is machine washable. It will retain its shape better if it is air dried with a balled-up plastic bag inside, to help keep the shape. The hat is knit on circular needles, so there is no seam to press into the baby’s head. It has a rolled brim, but the hat is generous enough to cover baby’s ears.

I package all the hats in a small square box, with a “recipe card” attached. The card includes the name of the hat (ie: The Perfect Pumpkin), size and care instructions. These hats are always a hit at baby showers.

Both the skirt and the shirt are 100% cotton. The skirt is extra full, for maximum spinning, and it has an elastic waist. The shirt is shirred elastic at the neck, arms, and higher waist. The belt is removable. Both are machine wash and dry.

I have been thinking about this dress for some time - ever since I saw the fabric and just HAD to have it. It took some tinkering to get the closures "just right" and I'm really happy with the finished product. It's comfortable, stylish, and still has the air of a little girl to it.

The hankie dress is worn in two pieces, both of which are fully lined. The back piece buttons in the front, and the front apron buttons in the back, with shoulder ties keeping the whole thing together. I know that it sounds confusing, but it really does stay in one place and keeps everything that needs to be covered, well, covered. It's also a very lightweight, 100% cotton, so she won't get too hot. The lining ensures that it is not see-through. The ribbons ends are hemmed, so they won't fray.

The pattern is a retro 40s print, telling the story of the Three Little Kittens who lost their mittens on the front, and a coordinating blue fabric on the back. It has two pockets on the front, which are attached hankies. All items are new, not vintage, so they'll hold up well in the washing machine.
