3 Vintage Pottery Planters - Flower Pots - Hand Painted in Portugal - Shabby Chic

Set of three vintage flower pots/planters! These are all three the same style of planter, there is one with light green accents, one with dark green accents, and one with yellow accents (painted rim and bottom edge). Each of these planters has hand painted flowers and leaves all the way around the outside. The base looks like a braided rope and the sides have raised panels all around. The bottom of each one of these is stamped “Portugal Hand Painted”, the yellow and light green have a large “S” inside a vase stamped on the bottom as well and the dark green says “SADO International” along with “Portugal Hand Painted”. They each measure 5” tall x 5 ½” in diameter at the top.

Cute, shabby chic, primitive doll! This little gal is made from tea stained and painted muslin (body, head, arms) and blue gingham check (legs). Her dress is made from tea stained dainty rose fabric with a lace ribbon around the neck. She has a hand painted, primitive face and simple pigtails made from the softest brown colored yarn. She is holding a little clay charm that says “Thank You” and is signed by the artist (Kimberly ’03).

Vintage Kitchen Mixer Cover - Hand Embroidered Strawberries

Vintage mixer cover made from white fabric with red piping trim and hand embroidered details. It is in very nice condition, there are no stains on the front or back, but there are a few on the top (still very charming!). There is also one small area where the piping and fabric have come apart (this could easily be mended). This would look absolutely adorable if you replaced the stained center/side section with some coordinating strawberry or reproduction vintage fabric!

This cover measures 12 ½” on the tallest side, then it slopes down to about 10”, it is 11 ½” wide across the front and back and the center/side section is 5” (you could easily make it wider if you plan to replace this section as I’ve suggested).

Apron Pattern, Retro Style, Simplicity, Four Versions

This Simplicity retro style apron pattern has four versions. All versions are encased in bias tape and hve pockets. Version 1 & 2 have tie ends slipped through back loops. Version 1 has eyelet trim. Version 3 has below elbow length set-in sleeves and fastens in back with buttons or snap fasteners. Sleeveless Version 4 fastens in front with buttons or snaps. It's size Medium, 14-16, misses. The only version that's been cut is V.4. The only piece I couldn't locate is the ruffle guide for view one with the ruffle trim. The guide is just to determine length, so I think that would be easy enough to do by measuring the pattern piece.

This cute set of Pilgrim candles and Turkey candle are perfect for NOW! They were hiding in my cupboard, especially the turkey. That's what they do this time of year, you know! The pilgrims are 3 to 3 1/4" tall and the turkey is 4 1/2" tall. The pilgrim ones haven't been lit. The turkey wick looks black on the tip, but if it was lit, it wasn't long enough to melt any of the wax. They're in very good condition.

this is an adorable cut of vintage fabric. It's similar to seersucker, but without the stripe that seersucker has. It has a permenant puckered texture. The background is off white and it has an overall pattern of tiny red hearts with yellow borders and green leaves & stems. It's a small design and would be adorable done up in a baby's romper or child's dress. There is a little over 3 yards--3 yds, 4", to be exact. It's 36" wide. There is nothing to identify the fabric content but it appears to be cotton. It's in excellent condition with no stains that I've found. I've laundered and lightly pressed it.

SALE-Vintage Rooster and Chicken Plaque-Cute Decoupaged Look

This cute vintage plaque has the look of being paper decoupaged over fabric, but it's a print that has been applied to this wood piece. The edges are cut at an angle to show the colors of the wood and woodgrain. It has a cute white rooster and hen with pretty daisy flower wreaths around their necks. The signature at the bottom reads "John Reed". It measures 9" X 11"and has a glossy finish. There's a bit of glare in some photos because of that. The wood has a crack and knot on the back but they don't show on the front. This would be really cute in a country kitchen and a great addition to a chicken collection.

Vintage Italian Picture-Renaissance Scene

This vintage small picture has a metallic gold finished frame with a Renaissance scene of musicians. On the back is a sticker stating "Hand Made In Italy" & a number. The paper backing has three tears in it but the paper is still all there. There is a stain at the bottom of the back. It might be glue from when the paper was attached. It measures 5 1/4" X 6 1/4". The frame has an old, worn look, which is intentional with these kinds of pictures.

Vintage photograph album or scrapbook, red with gold lettering and accents and tied with a gold lace. The inside pages are black and there are about 22 pages. They have the little black photo corners where someone once had photographs. These come of fairly easily if you are planning on using this as a scrapbook or you can buy replacement pages. The book measures 10" x 13" and is in nice condition. There are a couple of areas where the red has come off and the edges are showing some wear, but nothing major.

Vintage light weight robe or nightgown for baby! This is a baby blue flannel fabric with cute orange and yellow circus animals (lions, giraffes, etc.) It ties at the neck and measures 13 1/2" underarm to underarm and 15" from nape of neck to bottom of hem.

Santa is all decked out in farmer's attire with a pig (oinker) and a bag of goodies. Next is a Halloween design called Scaredy Cats! It is a wreath covered with fabric. There are two black cats dangling from it and a ghost peeking out. It's designed for a 10" wreath. Last is a Cotton Ginny pattern called "Cat & Mouse". You can make it a city cat or country cat (or both) and there's a little mouse wondering why they aren't chasing him around! They are approximately life size.

This beautiful porcelain Christmas ornament is titled Victorian Christmas III by Thomas Kinkade, Painter of Light. It was offered by Hallmark Cards, Inc., copyright 1999. That date is on the bottom front of the ornament. It has a beautiful victorian house with windows aglow, surrounded by a gold colored frame that is a molded part of the ornament. It measures 3 1/2" wide X 3" tall at the center where there's a satin ribbon to hang it from.

It has trains, elephants, butterflies, hot air balloons, boats, rocking horses, and windmills in the squares which are separated by what lools like rick-rack trim! Vintage issue of The Workbasket Magazine, volume 25, issue Number 6, March, 1960. This magazine includes articles and instructions for needlecrafts (baby ensemble, kitchen set, hostess apron, church lace tablecloth), cooking (macaroni noodles, casseroles), and gardening (african violets, vegetable gardens). This issue also includes a great transfer pattern for some cute days of the week bears to embroider on tea towels, pillows, aprons, etc.!

It is a softcover, mostly black and white magazine with 86 pages and is in very nice condition. This issue has a few pages where coupons were clipped, but it does not affect any of the feature articles or patterns. This is also an issue from the 25th year (1935-1960) and has a little 25 year emblem on the front cover.

Vintage Avon Snow lady candle! This item comes with the original box which is in excellent condition. The candle measures 5 1/2" tall and is also in excellent condition and still smells wonderful!! The only part of Mrs. Snowlight that is supposed to burn is the candle located in the top of her head. The box says "Mrs. Snowlight candle is notrefillable-but can be used many festive ways. When candle is used up, the cherry "snow lady" makes a chamring table centerpiece, surrounded by holly and other Christmas "greens". I think that you could probably run a knife around the candle inside her head and pop that out to replace with a tea light in a metal container, then you could use her over and over!!

this cute little vintage piggy planter is off white with pink touches here and there--on his bow, ears, hooves & hat. He is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips or crazing. Although it's a planter, it doesn't appear to have had anything planted in it. There are no stains inside. You could use it to hold makeup, pens & pencils, a candle, or whatever you like--even a plant! Whoever painted this little guy missed doing his eye lashes on one side! The details are all fired on so it isn't that they have scratched off--they just were never added. He measures almost 5" tall and about 4 1/2" across.

The selvage is marked "Pattern Promenade, guaranteed to be vat prints pre shrunk". It also states "Residual shrinkage of this lot will not exceed 2% Test CS59-44". It is a large floral print and in the background is a line drawing of a large building. The background is pink. The design is in shades of gray, rose & green. The original tag is still on one corner. It was probably in a remnant bin.

Thanks for stopping by The Vintage Dresser Etsy Shop! For your consideration, we have this lot of six vintage fabric remnants to offer. Each one shows the same portion of the design. Perhaps they were cut off of draperies when they were shortened? There is no indication what the fabric content is. It is kind of a nubby, silky fabric. The back is shinier than the front. They each measure 45" X 19". There is a water stain at the fold of all of them but it's pretty faint. There is the same stain on the edge of one that's a little more evident. They can probably be washed or cleaned to remove it. These would make stunning pillows or window valances. If used for valances, the stains probably won't show. The photos taken without flash show the stain. It didn't show at all with the flash. The background is beige, even tho some photos have a pink cast.

Vintage 1960s Housecoat and Pajamas Pattern, Simplicity Robe Pattern, Size 12

Vintage 1960's era Simplicity robe and pajamas pattern which includes the rose transfer. All versions feature high round neckline finished with collar, raglan type sleeves and front button closing. Versions 1 & 3 have below elbow length sleeves. Version 1 has a patch pocket and rosebud applique trim. Version 2, with short sleeves, has embroidered eyelet edging and ribbon bow trim. Version 3 has patch pockets. Pants, dart fitted at waistline, have left side zipper closing. It is in good used condition.

This is a cute vintage girl's skirt and blouse pattern. There is no copyright date but it appears to be a 1950's, mid century, style by Advance pattern company. It includes a girl's size 10 pleated skirt with suspenders and an overblouse with notched front detail & button trim, back button closure, small round collar and short cuffed sleeves. It is in good used condition, all pieces included.

Vintage 1960's Housecoat Pattern, Simplicity Robe Pattern, Size 12

This vintage 60's era housecoat pattern has raglan sleeves, round collar and button front closing. Versions one and two feature cuffs and patch pockets. Version one is detailed with lace. Version two has a self fabric tie belt and contrasting bias binding. Version three is fully lined to edge, features full sleeves gathered with elastic and has contrasting binding and bow. It's called "Slenderette" and is size 12.

Measurements are as follows:
Bust: 32"
Waist 25"
Hip 34"
Back length--neck base to waist 16"
Finished back length of robe 43 1/2"
As you can see, this is a full robe, so the measurements shouldn't be too critical.

It's unused, never even unfolded.

Manufactured Wrist Cuffs-Lot of Three-Great Base For Your Creation

These are button on fabric wrist cuffs in pale green. They have a white machine embroidered oval floral "cameo" in the center, surrounded by lace trim. The edges are bound in white bias and come to a point on each end with a button and buttonhole. The oval is a separate piece and tacked on with thread, so it would be easily removable, if you just wanted to use the cuff base to add your own embellishments to. They are 9 1/2" long. The base is 2" wide and the cameo is 3 1/4" X 4 1/4". They're really quite pretty as they are!

I repurposed this sweet little vintage ceramic piano and gave it a new life... as a pincushion! I suspect that it may have been a pincushion at one time already thought, but I didn't see any glue remains or anything inside, so maybe not! I used yellow striped fabric with lavendar flowers reminiscent of vintage pillow ticking.

This little cutie measures 2" tall x 3" and would be perfect with your shabby chic or vintage decor.

This vintage scrapbook, photo album has a red cover with gold decoration and the words "Scrap Book" in gold in the lower right corner. It's string tied and has 30 pages. The first 10 or 11 have notations written at the very top of the pages, in pencil. It can be erased, I tested a couple of place. But I'll leave that up to the winner of the auction. What you put in the book might even cover that up so it won't be an issue. There are a few places where you can see that tape was removed, but it didn't damage the pages. It measures 12" X 13". The lower front corners are a little bent and there are a couple of scuffed places, mostly on the bottom back edge. But overall, it's in very good condition.

This vintage nursery print depicts "The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe". The one with so many children she didn't know what to do. She has a bowl of porridge in her arms and children lining up for their portion. You can see the shoe in the background. There is a signature in the lower left corner but it's too faint to read. The frame is a neat vintage one with an ornate carved look. On the back, which still has the original brown paper covering, there is a phrase from the rhyme attached. It reads "There was an old woman who lived in a shoe, She had so many children, she didn't know what to do". The paper is torn in a few places at the edges of the frame. There is a twisted wire hanger attached with eye screws. There's no glass. It measures 8" X 10 3/4".

This is the cutest little boy doll! His name is Butch and he's looking for trouble! He's plastic, not rubber, as indicated on the back of the box. Manufactured by American Toys for Alan-Jay Plastics, Inc., New York. There's no zip code with the address, so I think it's pre-1964. The box is in pretty good condition, but the plastic or cellophane that was probably on the top is no longer there. I think there were probably more pieces with this originally, but I can't be sure. The little boxing gloves have a red kangaroo on each one. Butch has his "dukes" up and he's ready to box--but his diaper's drooping just a little! He's in good shape and still squeaks, as do the gloves. He measures about 6 1/2" tall. The gloves are about 4" long. The box is 12 1/2" X 9". We've already reduced the price for your convenience.

Vintage Suitcase, Storage Case, Craft Storage

This small case is great for storage. I believe it was for storing film reels, possibly. I've been using it for storing craft and scrapbooking supplies. It holds lots of things and closes up to keep everything dust free and out of sight. It has a few condition issues - - some wear on a couple of corners and a place on the back edge where it is separated. But it isn't bad enough to be a problem. There's a little water damage to the bottom, inside and out, but it's just rippling of the covering and doesn't affect the framework of the case. There are three shelves inside and a handle on top, with two latches on the side. The latches line up and work well. It measures 12" tall X 8" wide and 8" deep. If you love old suitcases, this will fit right in with them and provide great storage for for lots of different items.

Beautiful vintage pink ceramic guest towel or napkin holder with hand painted gold lettering and details! Measures 6" wide x 4" tall in front, 3" tall in back x 3 1/2" deep at bottom, 2 3/4" deep at top. The bottom is marked "California #282". This would be beautiful in a shabby chic guest bath!

This guest towel holder is in nice condition. There is one small chip in the top right hand corner, but it's very hard to tell. This piece is covered with crazing, I think this just adds to the shabby charm!

Vintage 1970 McCall's pattern #2378 for shoulder bag with outer pocket at front and zippered top closing. Interfaced and lined, bottom is stiffened with cardboard. Shoulder strap may be faced of faced with lining fabric. Pronged buckle and four eyelets make length of strap adjustable. Bag measures approximately 10" x 13" x 4".

This pattern has been used but all pieces for the bag are included as well as the instructions (I layed them all out to be sure!). The applique pattern for the letters on the bag is not included.

Vintage white upcycled handbag! I have hand painted a skeleton key silhouette on the front in black and sealed it for protection. I also added a vintage pink velvet ribbon with a wooden skeleton key charm.

This bag has an navy blue vinyl fabric lining with two pickets inside (one open and one zipper pocket, both on the same side). The bag is in excellent condition ( a few very tiny faint scuff marks, but that is to be expected from a WHITE bag of this age! They do not detract from the charm at all!) It measures 10" wide x 7" tall x 4" deep.

Lot of Eight Resin Birds by Russ Berrie, SculpStone

This is a set of eight cute resin bird shelf sitters by Russ Berrie & Co., Inc. The material is called sculpstone, which appears to be a resin of some kind. They have a hand carved look and have long wire legs & toes. Three are musicians - - two horn players and one drummer, three appear to be sun bathers - - one with a bottle of lotion, one with a drink and one with a towel around his shoulders. The other two are spectators! There are a couple of issues. There is something broken off of the drink the one is holding. The saxaphone is broken. However, there is wire inside it, so it holds it in place and the break isn't noticable. There is also a piece broken off underneath of the sax. The other horn has broken loose from the bird and been glued at his mouth and tummy. None of these issues are noticeable unless you're examining them closely. I think you can see them in the photos.

VINTAGE TWIN COVERLET EMBROIDERED PINK BEDSPREAD - SHABBY CHIC

This vintage twin size coverlet/bedspread is cream with pink trim with exquisitely done hand embroidered details! The coverlet and pillow drape are separate, but when put on the bed together, they look like one piece. The corners on the bottom of the coverlet are indented to fit a four-poster bed (see pictures). This set is in beautiful condition, no holes or frayed edges, colors are crisp and bright. There is one small grayish colored spot on the bottom right side (see pictures) and slight amounts of pink that has bled onto the white background fabric. I tried to show that in a picture, but it is so faint that my camera wouldn’t pick it up. Other than those small things, it is in excellent condition. You won’t even notice it unless you are closely inspecting it!!

This would make a wonderful addition to your shabby chic or romantic bedroom or would be sweet in a little girl’s room!

Vintage Mushroom Design Placemats

This vintage set of four plastic mushroom design placemats would be so cute with your retro, vintage mushroom collections. They ar printed all around with orange and brown mushrooms and flowers on a white background. Along the outer edge is a zig-zag design in brown. They have the name Mal printed on each one. They're in good condition clean condition. There are indentations on each one where a vase or something was probably sitting but it doesn't hardly show except when you look at them at just the right angle. They measure 18" X 11 1/2". There's a little curling on the ends of a couple but I think they'll flatten out OK when laid out for a while.

Vintage 1970 Wrap Dress Pattern, Wraps in Front or Back

Vintage 1970 front or back wrap misses dress pattern. Simplicity #8771, size 14", bust 36", waist 27", hip 38", back neck to waist 19 1/2". The dress has "bateau" (boat)neckline, short "kimono" type sleeves, contrasting back and self fabric tie ends at the side extensions. Side extensions can be worn tied in back or under bustline in front. Only three main pattern pieces! It's in good used condition.

Vintage 1969 Toddler Top and Pants Pattern

Simplicity #8522, vintage 1969 toddler top and bell-bottom pants. The cute native american style version is adorable, as are all of them. The top is collarless with back zipper. Version 1 & 2 have eyelet trim at the neckline. The pants have elastic waist. It is in used condition and the front facing piece for the top is missing. It's easy to cut a facing piece using the piece it is intended to face. The sleeve piece has some tears but is all there. It's size 1/2, breast 19", waist 19".

Vintage 1970 Toddlers Top, Pants, Bloomers Pattern

Simplicity 1970 toddler's top (smock), pants and bloomers sewing pattern #9090, size 1/2. Breast 19", waist 19". The cute smock style top has a version with pockets along the lower front. It shows a long sleeved and short sleeved version, but the long sleeve pattern piece is missing. All the rest of the pieces are there. The pants and bloomers have elastic waists. The pants have optional snap fastened crotch. Very cute vintage pattern.

This is a great vintage Better Homes & Gardens New Cook Book. It has the classic red & white tablecloth checked cover and is spiral bound. The page is missing that had the copyright information on it, but I think it's from the 70's, judging from the photo of the kitchen in the front. The first numbered page is #6 but I think the missing ones were introductory and copyright pages. The first divider, for chapter one, lists the pages in that section as #6 thru #20. I haven't gone thru it page by page, but it appears that the pages are all there upon verifying the beginning and ending pages in each section. You can tell it was used--the pages have edge wear. The cover edges and corners are in good shape with just a little wear. The binding is a little faded. All-in-all, a nice vintage cookbook. We've already reduced the price for your convenience
