I designed and created this necklace with a decoupaged vintage 1960's wooden Recycled MahJong tile pendant. The pendant is 1 1/4"W (almost 2.5cm) X 15/16"L (3.2cm) X 1/4" thick (.64cm). It is decoupaged front and back with pictures cut from one of my Dad's 1963 "Factors and Formulas" engineering booklets. There is a rectangular figure on both sides, viewed at different angles. Some of the photos blurred when they were re-sized; the printing on the paper is very clear and sharp. The close-up photos are better than the full-shot ones. The pendant has a silver-tone eye screw for a bail, and the necklace is a 24"(61cm) silver-tone ball chain with fastener. The ball chain can be shortened with a snip of the scissors. Glitz Chain Choker Necklace with Vintage AB Beads and Rhinestones

This is a choker necklace. A very glitzy one! The main chain (one with the larger-size links) is 14"L 35.6cm). There is also a 1.5" (3.8cm) beaded-end extender, but that still makes it choker-style. The necklace has the main chain with 2 different lengths of vintage chain at the front. There are 15 1.5"L dangles on the necklace. The larger beads are vintage blue-gray faceted AB glass. They are all an even color with complete AB coverage. The way the light hit the beads made some look solid gray. That is the base color of the glass. There are small vintage clear glass bicone beads on every-other dangle, and silver-gray Swarovski crystal pearls on the others. Each dangle ends with a vintage closed-back rhinestone in a pronged setting, and these are also between each dangle. The necklace has a new silver tone lobster clasp.

Trust. Subtle, yet with bright points of light. Not bold, but consistant. This 27.5" ((69.9cm) necklace was hand-assembled by me. It features a 1.5" (3.8cm) diam. vintage antique-brass filigree station for a pendant. I attached a vintage square AB rhinestone in a closed-back pronged setting at the pendant's center. Beaded dangles and the strand include vintage faceted AB glass beads and vintage faux pearls on brass eye pins, and lengths of new tiny light blue faceted beads on anodized aluminum links. There are 2 different kinds of chain - brass with larger links and anodized aluminum, smaller-linked. The necklace has a new spring clasp. NOTE: All of the large faceted glass beads have the same good silvery-blue AB finish. The way the light hit them made some look more white or solid gray. The bottom faceted bead at the center dangle of the pendant is not an AB bead. It is a darker blue. The necklace hangs longer and narrower between the 2 sides than it appears in the photos. It was shortened up at the back for better photos on the display stand.

I designed and created this double strand necklace that features stone chips and tumbled polished stone. Since this is a longer necklace, I have shown it pulled back on the display. The third/center photo shows it hanging at actual length. The stones include Amethyst (purple), Banded Chalcedony/Red Agate (red/orange/white/banded), African "Jade" (green), and Denim Lapiz Lazuli. The long stones range in size from .5"-.75" (1.3cm-1.9cm), and the large round stone beads are each approx. 12mm-14mm diam. The strands are accented with large vintage antique-silver tone beads and small metal spacers. The top strand is 27"L (68.6cm) and the bottom strand is 28"L (71.1cm). This double strand necklace consists of vintage black jet glass faceted beads and a pendant made from 3 vintage pieces. The inner/top strand is 17.5"L (44.5cm) with just the black faceted beads, and the outer strand has the same beads with vintage filigree brass bead caps. The bead caps have a lovely patina that matches the brass components in the pendant. The pendant is an assemblage of a beaded vintage shoe clip with brassy-gold berries, an oval brass buckle, and an unusual brass tone brooch with a crown and a royal crest that looks like branches. All 3 are connected with vintage brass chain and jump rings. The entire pendant assemblage hangs 4" (10.2cm) from the necklace strand. The beaded shoe clip itself measures 2" X 1.25" (5cm X 3.2cm). The necklace has a vintage gold tone hook clasp with a brass patina. The metal knot caps are actually brass in color, though they look silver in the photo. The crown part of the pendant reflected a little pink for some reason, especially the edges. It in fact has the same coloration as the oval buckle above it. From my "Fair Ladies" collection, let me introduce Leah, Lady of the Caravans. The 1 1/4" X 7/8" (3.2cm X 2.2cm)pendant is made from recycled brass bullet shell casings that have been re-cast in vintage reproduction molds. The pendant was purchased from a California artisan. I don't make the actual pendants, just the necklaces! ;) Leah's gypsy spirit is manifested in this 18" (45.7cm) necklace, which is composed of multi-colored patterned glass beads and vintage glass and lucite beads. The dangles are vintage beads, stone/stone chips, bead caps, and jewelry findings that hang from the strand on gold tone double jump rings. The necklace has a new brass tone toggle clasp. It is not as dark as it appears in the photo. The last photo shows how the necklace looks when worn. The pendant looks darker because it is not in direct light. From my "Fair Ladies" collection, I'd like to introduce Rowena,Lady of the Rubies. Since the pendant is Art Nouveau style, I have given all my Fair Ladies Victorian-Era names. :) All the pendants are made from recycled brass bullet shell casings that have been re-cast in vintage reproduction molds. The pendants were purchased from a California artisan. I don't make the actual pendants, just the necklaces! ;) Amelia measures 1 1/8" (approx. 2.9cm) in diameter. The beaded strand is 16.5" (36.8cm) with a 2" (5cm) extender chain.. The strand is composed of vintage white faux pearls, new red Czech glass faceted donut beads, vintage hard plastic red with gold color accent beads, vintage white rhinestone rondells, and 2 very unusual vintage gold tone beads with inserts. The dangles on the necklace are made from parts of vintage pins. The red and white rhinestone flowers have a little darker brass patina then the gold tone bow and rose flanking the pendant. The little rose and white catalin rose pins are also more gold tone. The necklace has a new gold tone lobster clasp. The last photo shows how the necklace looks when worn. The brass actually does look more gold-color than shown in the photos. I've found brass has a tendancy to change hue when photographed, depending upon the light/angle. This 18" (45.7cm) necklace features a little 1" X 1/2" (2.5cm X 1.3cm) music brooch (pin removed) and holly. The holly berries are deep red Czech glass donut beads with faceted edges, combined with 3 vintage hard-plastic holly leaveswith an AB finish. The necklace strand is made of small gold-plated flowers with the Czech glass beads between them, 2 vintage connectors, and gold tone chain. Although the gold-colored components have different shades in the photos, they are all the same color - a nice bright gold! The little holly dangle can be easily removed after the holidays, for year-round wear!

This 19" (48.3cm) necklace looks rather ancient, but of course, it's newly-made, by me, from a collection of vintage coin charms, shells, agate stone, vintage jewelry findings, and vintage blue beads. The center chain that holds all the components is a light brass colored vintage charm bracelet, and there are 2 lengths of thinner chain of the same color with a spring clasp.
The last photo shows an X-closeup of the two faux coins. The center "coin" with a sailing ship on the front says "HALF PENNY" AND "1954", and has a profile of Elizabeth II on the back. The other "coin" has a winged dragon with a shield on the front, and a large embossed number 20 and "REPUBLIK OSTERREICH" on the back. The large vintage rhinestone finding to the right of the center coin has rectangular deep green and blue stones in a black setting. An interesting collection of your favorite artifacts! ;)

All ready for a holiday teaparty, this 17.5" (44.5cm) necklace features a vintage hard plastic teapot with roses and and a white teacup. The pendant measures 2"L X 1.75"W (5cm X 4.4cm). The back of the pendant has another embossed rose at the base of the handle and one at the base of the spout. I hand-linked the red Czech glass beads, some vintage gold tone chain, and some vintage linked white glass beads into a "V" shape at the base of the necklace. The rest of the linked white beads were used for the necklace strand. The 4 charms include a pair of vintage gold colored cuff links that resemble tea biscuits. The cufflinks are embossed with a sunburst-like design, but it is hard to see in the photos. :( Each cuff link has a tiny bit of metal darkening in spots, but no tarnish. I polished them up so they are shiny and bright. :) The necklace has a vintage gold tone spring clasp.

This 17" necklace is made from topaz-colored Czech glass beads that are hand-linked with nickel-free copper plated brass wire and small jump rings. There are 5 bunches of Czech glass leaf beads dangling from the strand. Each bunch has 5 colored leaves that are green, yellow, orange, and red. Each bunch is a little different! The necklace has a nickel-free copper plated brass lobster clasp. In the second photo, and the last close-up photo, the red leaf is on the opposite side in the center bunch. The leaves hang freely, and will re-arrange themselves! :)

This tumbled polished citrine nugget is snugly wrapped in steel wire. It is on a 15" (38.1cm) necklace made of seed-beads and other small beads. Althought the nugget can be worn with either side facing forward, the back of the nugget(last photo) is a little flatter. The stone itself is approx. 1 3/8"L X 1 1/4"W X 5/8" thick. Metric measurements are approx. 3.5cmL X 2cmW X 1cm thick. The necklace has a silver tone lobster clasp.

Little Vintage Tin Litho Race Car on Chain Necklace

This necklace features a 24" (61cm) silver-tone ball chain necklace. If you want a shorter length, the ball chain can easily be shortened at the end with a snip of the scissors. The pendant is a vintage 1960's NOS tin litho toy race car that was purchased as a set in its original packaging. The car is 1.75"L X .5"W (4.4 cm X 1.3 cm). I used a vintage connector bar and jump rings on the rear axle. Without the connector bar keeping the axle's jump-rings apart, they slid together and the car hung crooked. I currently have available the car necklaces in the photos: one green #1 race car, one yellow #2 race car, one red #3 race car, and one #5 white race car, each is on the 24"L (61cm) silver tone ball chain. I also have one #5 white race car on a 22"L (56cm) standard link gold tone chain. There is glare on some of the photos, mostly across the little driver. This necklace is from my "Somewhat Similar" collection. The reversible pendant features illustrations from a vintage 1966 Webster's New World Dictionary, Elementary Edition. They are somewhat similar in spelling, use, or other not-so-apparent ways! :D I made these for fun, and because I loved the retro 60's illustrations. The illustrations are decoupaged onto a 1 1/4"L (3.2cm) X 15/16"W (almost 2.5cm) X 1/4" thick (.64cm) vintage 1960's wooden Mah Jong tile with a silver tone eye screw bail. I lightly sanded the the Mah Jong tile on both sides to remove the painted-on front design so it wouldn't show through the paper, which is only on the front and back faces of the tile. The four edges are the natural wood of the Mah Jong tile. Some of the illustrations have teeny tiny flaws from printing of the dictionary, but all are very clear and legible (although my photos may not quite be). These are untouched photos, not photoshopped. I wanted to get these listed! ;) The necklace comes on a 24" (61cm) silver tone ball chain necklace. The ball chain can be shortened with a snip of the scissors. If you prefer a longer necklace, I also have 31" (79cm) silver tone ball chains. This 19" (48.3cm) necklace is comprised of many odd components left from my vintage jewelry stash. Waste not, want not! I combined them all on a vintage gold tone chain to make this unique bits and pieces necklace. Starting with the large metal ring, the necklace has a vintage faux peal, a gold tone dangle-thingy, and a small flower post earring. Next is a vintage button with shiny multi-colored stars, a deep purple faceted bead, and a vintage brass button. The center of the necklace is a vintage light gold tone bead cap with another brass button. It is flanked by a small carnelian stone bead and a vintage orange crackle glass bead. There is a fake Canadian metal penny (approprite designs embossed on both sides), a deep blue and gold crackle glass bead, and another longer dangle-thingy. The brass tone oval filigree setting has a dark green cabochon (looks black in the photos). It is followed by a faceted red bead, another vintage faux pearl, and clear lampwork bead with green and gold . Pretty sure this is OOAK! ;)

This 20" (50.8cm) necklace features a 2"L X .75"W (5.1cm X 1.9cm) vintage metal Eiffel Tower pendant. There are 2 vintage flower beads and green button-leaves dangling on either side of the Tower. The necklace is made of vintage mottled white and aqua flat rectangular and round dark green lucite beads and small gold tone flower spacers. I designed and created this OOAK 20" (50.8 cm) necklace that features a 1 3/4" X 3/4" (4.4 cm X 1.9 cm) vintage wooden Jaymar (is embossed on the back of the domino) blank domino with the mechanism and face from an old non-working wind-up TIMEX watch. I concealed the "X" as best I could with the hour hand, so the watch face reads "TIME." :) The large gears are actually vintage bead caps, and the springs are from ear-wires. The pendant looks like an inventor's "time machine!" All components are secured to the domino with jeweler's glue, including the black wooden tube bead on top. The strand is composed of black Mountain jade beads and assorted metal beads that continue the "mechanical" theme. The necklace has a brass-tone lobster clasp. I designed and created this whimsical 17" (43.2cm) necklace that features a vintage silver tone crown that was once a screwback earring, a vintage silver tone teapot that was once a brooch, and a new silver tone cross. Note: the crown is not as dark as it appears in the photos - for some reason this is always the "shadowed" side of my photos. The necklace has 2 wonderful jet black glass buttons with a marcasite design and a white rhinestone, and 8 vintage hard plastic black rosebud buttons. Joining these are black faceted vintage glass beads and silver tone and silver plated metal beads. The black rosebud beads are jet black in color and very glossy. They have NO white discoloration as shown in the side-view photos. This is just glare, plus I had to lower the contrast so the ridges on the swirled portions of the buttons would show. I designed and created this 22" (55.9cm) necklace that features amazing amber-colored vintage glass beads. The solid round beads and glass bead caps are each 12mm. The bead caps are slightly faceted and some have crackle in the glass. None are cracked or chipped. The larger round beads with black "tiger stripes" are each 16mm. There are 6 beautiful vintage gold-tone rondells with black enamel. Each rondell has 3 white and 3 black rhinestones. All rhinestones are present, and the rondells are in excellent vintage condition! NOTE: The large tiger-stripe beads are the same color as the other beads. They appear darker in the photos due to the black stripes and the way my camera works! The necklace has a vintage gold-tone hook-slide clasp, which is a bright gold color, as are the metal bead caps. I made these little winged skull pendants using a hard plastic skull bead, a pair of metal silver plated/gold plated wings, 2 black Czeck glass beads, and a plated embossed metal bead. Each flying skull pendant is 1 3/8" across the wings, and approximately 1 1/2" long (the silver "body" beads are about 1/8" longer than the gold ones). Available are the three types of chain/pendant shown in the photos. In the top and bottom photos, the necklaces have exactly the same components, but the chain on the bottom necklace is a little smaller-linked, and measures 23"(58.4cm). The necklace in the top photo has a slightly larger linked chain, which measures 26"(66cm). The silver flying skull necklace in the center photo has identical components, but silver-plated. It is on a 24"(61cm) aluminum ball chain.

The two necklace strands are made of vintage faux pearls, gold tone metal spacers, small brown shell tube beads, and vintage plastic amber-colored and gray beads. The bottom strand has orange fossil beads, two larger vintage pearls, two white vintage glass beads, and a shell and vintage bone bead. The 3 dangles are made from vintage carved bone, a long black lip shell tusk, and a gray and brown seed pod. The necklace has a new gold plated lobster clasp.

This 18" (45.7cm) neclace features a vintage brass brooch that was missing the pin. I removed the pin stations and filed them smooth. The brooch is 1 1/8" ( 2.8cm) length and width. It is shaped like an apple with a skyline of NYC buildings. It has NEW YORK embossed on a banner across the front. On either side of the apple are two vintage white rhinestone earrings, made into drops. There are also a heart and tassle charm. These charms appear silver in the photos, but they are gold tone, as is the length of vintage chain that the brooch and charms hang from. I hand-linked the necklace strand with glass beads, mother of pearl beads, vintage plastic amber-colored faceted beads, and vintage gold tone connectors. The necklace has a new gold tone lobster clasp.

This 17" (43.2cm) necklace features a very unusual recycled brass pendant. The 2.5"L X 1.25"W (6.35cm X 3.2cm) lady pendant is art nouveaux style. She has one calla lilly above her head and one at the base of her long gown. But, she also seems to have a forked tail. The necklace is made of vintage faux pearls and genuine mother of pearl (MOP) beads. The faux pearls are slightly creamier in color than the MOP beads, which are very white. Each round faux pearl is separated by a small gold tone jump ring. The back of the necklace is vintage gold tone chain with a spring clasp.

The necklace features a 24"L (61cm) aluminum ball chain necklace. If you want a shorter length, the ball chain can easily be shortened at the end with a snip of the scissors. The pendant is a vintage 1960's NOS tin litho toy race car that was purchased as a set in its original packaging. The people in the car are shown in the front, rear, and side windows. The car is 1.5"L X .75"W (3.8cm X 1.9cm). The phots are close-ups to show detail, and the cars are smaller than they appear. Each car has pink plastic wheels and axles. I used a vintage connector bar and jump rings on the rear axle. Without the connector bar keeping the axle's jump-rings apart, they slid together and the car hung crooked. :) The connector bars on the pink stripe and orange cars have white rhinestones. Sorry, but the angle of the photo makes it hard to see them.I currently have available the five (shown in the photos: one green, one orange, one pink with blue stripes, one blue, and one red. Bark To School Beaded Linked Necklace with Dog Brooch Pendant

This is my entry for the Etsy Beagle Street Team's "Bark To School" team challenge. 20 % of the sale of this necklace will be donated to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull Co., a non-kill shelter.
The 23" (58.4cm) necklace is hand-linked with vintage primary colors glass beads and small gold plated jump rings. The beads that appear purple are actually red in color, and match the bows on the dogs.
The pendant is a vintage gold tone brooch that shows Mama Dog walking Little Dog to his first day of school. She knows that with the proper training, he will be a show dog champion some day!
The brooch was a little difficult to attach, since there were no openings. I had to use the existing pin to link the necklace to it. There are small clear plastic earring end-guards keeping the chain in place on the pin. They are not noticeable from the front, although the angle of the photos does show them a little. The color of the brooch is even and very shiny gold. There is dark reflection on the dogs from the camera lens apparatus. The brooch has NO metal wear! The necklace has a gold tone lobster clasp.

Dragonfly Brass Pendant with Vintage Rhinestone Beads and Freshwater Pearls

This necklace features a large 1.5"L X 1.75"W (3.8cm X 4.4cm) dragonfly pendant made from recycled bullet shell casings. The pendant is mostly brass, with a little copper. The dragonfly is below 2 vintage bead caps that are a brassy gold color - very similar to the color of the pendant, although the reflection from the rhinestone beads makes the caps look much lighter! Each bead cap holds a gorgeous vintage white multi-rhinestone bead, and there is a vintage AB rhinestone button between the 2 bead caps. All rhinestones are present on each bead, and the beads are pristine! The 15" (38.1cm) necklace strand is made from vintage bicone faceted AB clear glass beads and turquoise freshwater pearls with gold tone spacers. The necklace is short, but it has a 3" (7.6cm) vintage gold tone connector chain and hook clasp.

Vintage Wooden Dragon Domino Pendant on Beaded Necklace

I designed and created this 21" (53.3cm) necklace that features a vintage wooden Halsam colored dot dragon domino pendant. The embossed dragon design was painted by me to match the colored dots on the opposite side of the domino. This necklace can be worn with either side showing. The domino is very hard wood, so I glued a vintage lucite tube bead to the top. I used Krazy glue, and the tube bead is well-secured! The domino pendant measures 1 3/4" X
1 1/8" (4.4CM x 2.86cm), including the tube bead. I hand-linked the necklace strand using vintage blue cat's eye beads, black Czech glass rondells, and silver tone jump rings. The painted dragon is much more clear and sharp than it looks in the photos.

Frog and Friends Beaded Charm Necklace

I designed and created this 18" (45.7cm) necklace that looks like an oversize charm bracelet, and is full of beads! It features a frog brooch (pin removed) with articulated legs at the center of the vintage silver-tone round-link chain to which I added vintage faux pearls with a glossy green finish, 8mm green Mountain jade beads, some very unusual odd-shaped oblong vintage glass beads with white inclusions, and vintage ceramic w/ yellow rose beads. There are some stone beads; 1 light green leaf-shaped, 4 green nuggets, and 2 brown heart-shaped, some misc. ceramic and glass beads, and a vintage celluloid turtle pin and plastic fish charm to keep frog company! The necklace weighs 5 oz. The necklace has a silver-tone hook-and-ring clasp. One of frog's legs was hidden in the beads in the first photo. The last 3 photos show his legs to the front, and also show how they move. Metamorphosis Stone Cameo Brass Butterfly Lady 3 Pendant Necklace

This design was inspired by the challenge of a very odd brass pendant. The 21"(53.3cm) necklace is composed of vintage green and black lucite beads, vintage brass bead caps, and 2 vintage faux pearls. The beads were hand-linked on gold plated eye pins and small vintage copper jump rings. The necklace has 3 pendants, representing Lepidoptera metamorphosis with a human element! The first pendant is a vintage striated stone that I believe is agate. It symbolizes the chrysalis. The center pendant is a vintage cameo. If you could peek inside the cocoon, you may see the adult butterfly ready to emerge! The cameo has an etched profile (best seen in the close up photos)and a small vintage faux pearl and embossed enamel drop. The last pendant is made from recycled brass, and represents the adult butterfly/ladyfly! :) The necklace has a brass tone lobster clasp. Not an ordinary necklace, but certainly noteworthy! Another version of this story is that the "ladyfly" has already emerged from her cocoon, and is hovering nearby, waiting for her mate to hatch. We've all been there. ;)
