It is made from a large oil painting done also by me.

This miniature original painting, titled "Blue Beach White Birds" will be beautiful on your desk, a shelf or a table. Or hang it on a wall, alone or with other paintings. Perhaps you would enjoy a grouping of several of my small paintings.

This miniature painting measures 4” x 4". I painted it on gallery wrapped canvas. The canvas is wrapped completely to the back with no staples on the edges. I use one picture for all backs, so you may see a bit of different color on back. It won't be on your painting. I sign each painting with pen on the back.

I painted the front and edges in a mix of soft colors including metallic gold.
Then I painted the dune, water and two birds in flight. It is ready to display. No framing is necessary.

The canvas is slightly more than 1.25” deep. It will stand by itself on any flat firm surface. I did not put wire on the back. It will hang on a single nail, if you choose to hang it.

I used the finest quality acrylic paints to create this painting. Then I varnished it to a beautiful glossy finish. This small original is painted with the same care I use for my larger works.

This box contains 8 cards printed with the image of my mixed media painting "Tall Pagoda." The card are 5" wide x 6.5" tall. Envelopes are slightly larger. They are packaged in a clear box, to protect them until you use them. I include 9 envelopes, just in case you need an extra.

These cards are blank inside to receive your special message.

I print them on acid-free white card stock on my Epson C88+ printer using DuraBrite ink. This is the best technology available. The richness of color is much superior to offset printed mass-produced cards.

The back view is a sample to show how artist information appears on the back of each card. Correct painting title is always shown on the back of the card.

I collaged silver leaf and a mulberry paper to make a nine-patch design. Then I collaged a pretty vintage bird into the center. It is a sweet, peaceful collage that will promote serenity in any setting.

I painted the edges of my canvas with a rich, dark color. Then I painted the front of my canvas with a luscious peachy-pink color that perfectly matches the miniature watercolor painting. When I painted the edges with the peachy-pink color, I carved through the paint to make a rhmthmic infinity design. Then I attached the watercolor with matte gel and collaged the vintage butterfly on top. The final touch was 3 coats of glossy acrylic varnish. It is a sweet, peaceful painting that will promote serenity in any setting.

The information comes from The Business of Art, my popular course for artists. My students call me the Artist Marketing Coach. I have been a self-supporting artist for over 30 years. I use beautiful materials, my artist's sense of design and careful craftsmanship to make my collages & collage cards. The title of this piece is "I Remember Paris." The hand torn edges of the watercolor paper are a charming element. I added a piece of a Paris map and a beautiful scrap with flowers and French words. The vintage dictionary text, with a veil of paint, adds an extra air of intrigue. I love the feeling of Paris that this piece conveys.
