Do you like elephants? I do, and we have many of them in Thailand, short, tall, fat, thin, although most of them are gray and they all have big ears!

But this elephant story is for you. Choose the details you want in the story. What's your elephant called? What color is it? What does it like to eat? Does it travel or is it a homebody? Is it friends with the tiger that lives down the jungle, or is it a loner without even a herd of its own? Is the elephant for you, your child, your mother or your favorite uncle?

You choose the details, and I'll write the story for you. A story that only YOU will own, in the whole world. A story you can do anything you want with (except publish it as your own work :-) ). A story you'll love because you helped create it. A story you can keep for yourself, have written for your child, or share with the world.

Until I moved to Thailand, I never thought about ghosts but Thai culture is rife with them - they're in homes, in temples, in towns and villages, in the jungle, and even in shopping malls where rumours talk about workers dying while building the mall and being buried in concrete in the foundations.

This is a story for you. A story for your husband, lover, friend or mother. A story that will frighten you, sadden you or make you happy. A story from your culture or someone else's. All the details are in your hands.

You choose your ghost. Who was he? Where did she die? What was her name? How old was he? Was he good or not so good? An adult or a child? What did she look like? Is he an ancient ghost or a modern ghost? Sad, good, evil or frightening?

A FAIRY STORY - a story you dream and I create for you

In many cultures, fairies have been part of daily life for as long as can be remembered. As a child growing up in England, I always wanted to meet one. One time, I came close but she ran away before I could say "Hello" - since then, I've been fascinated with fairies.

You choose the fairy story for your child. Is the fairy a he or a she? What does the fairy look like? What does she wear? What color is her dress? Does she meet your child? What does the fairy do for a living? Does he travel or always live in one place? When I was a child I loved adventure stories, Enid Blyton's 'Five on a Treasure Island' (five children on holiday search a nearby island and fall into danger and adventure), 'Kidnapped' by Robert Louis Stevenson (a boy is kidnapped and trapped on board a slave ship going to the New World) - wonderful stories, where I felt like I was the person in that adventure, solving the mystery, saving the day.

The river by your house is a place where mermaids swim and elves live in tree hollows on the river bank. Animals become confidantes, and fathers are heroes.
