As a SCUBA Diver myself...I love wearing these! I am always amazed at the different conversations that arise with people when I am wearing a dive flag.... Either with other divers or with people who know something about diving... it is great fun!

The bead measures measures 17 mm wide - hole to hole and 13mm tall and 10 mm thick. It has been strung on a 18" leather necklace with silver toned clasp.

All of my beads go directly from flame to kiln where they are properly kiln annealed for strength and longevity. They are then properly cleaned with a Dremel diamond reamer. I use Italian, German and American Boutique glass and create most of my beads on 1/16th mandrels and focals on 3/32nd mandrels.

I have been making fish beads for sometime and I am pleased to begin offering tiny matched pairs... perfect for earrings! Of course... just like in nature these little guys are not identical.. although they are pretty close! If you just LOVE the beads and would like me to make them into earrings.. I was inspired to make these beads from a fantastic outfit a cover girl was wearing on the cover of a magazine.. 5 chunky white beads decorated with fun reddish brown, ocher yellow, and black layer dots.. Six matching accent spacer beads are also included!

Each of the five beads measure between 17-18mm hole to hole, approximately 9mm thick and were created on 1/16th mandrels so the holes measure just a touch under 2mm. The matching 6 accent roundels measure between 6-7mm hole to hole.

The bead measure 47 mm tall (hole to hole) and 11mm wide. The bead was created on a 3/32nd mandrel allowing for a larger hole that measures just a touch under 4mm.

A beautiful butter cream base carefully wrapped with a heavy layer of silver and topped with several gorgeous shades of green and dotted with a rich ruby red.
