The merino wool that I use is super soft and comfortable against the skin unless you have a severe allergy to wool. This piece ships priority mail with insurance included in the shipping costs.

The silver has been heat treated to give it a lovely white color. This is a surface treatment and the piece has been waxed for protection from everyday wear, but care should be taking in storing the piece. When not worn keep the pendant in it's box and away from other jewelry or hard edges that could scrape the surface, which would remove the white and reveal the shiny silver below.

The resin is waterproof and should be safe in a summer downpour, but don't jump in the pool with it on!

Poppy Ring 14k recycled gold and silver

I was waiting for some supplies to arrive today and got a little bored, so I did the obvious thing: I melted some of my 14k gold scrap into a blob, then started hitting it with a big hammer! I ended up with a thinner sheet of blob, and started forming into one of my petal forms. I decided it would make a lovely ring and a couple hours later here we are!

The band and the smaller petal inside are sterling silver patinated to a lovely dark gray that contrasts the 14k gold beautifully. The entire ring has a brushed surface with the edges burnished to a bright shine. Alot of attention to detail went into this little ring!

The pods are 1" from tip to tip and hang a total of 2.5 inches form the earlobe. A shorter version of these earrings are also available in my shop.
