This necklace is truly unique and one of a kind, a true work of art if I may say so.

When I first started out lampworking I was in awe with all the beautiful beads, pendants, and other glass art-works offered for sale. I knew for sure that I wanted to be just as good at making beads as all the big names in Lampwork-land.

Now, four years later I have learned I will never be as good as I hope to be. I keep on pushing myself to new designs, and in the meantime I still enjoy making my regular floral beads or pandora beads.

One of the people who inspired me was Tink. She makes the most fabulous perfect little vessels and hollow beads, and if I ever have the opportunity to take a class from her I will sign up without the blink of an eye.

This necklace is mine but I am offering a similar necklace for sale. Each of the 17 hollow beads is blown on a tiny hollow mandrell and thoroughly cleaned on the inside ( now you may figure out how to get dirt out of the inside of a hollow bead!)

After cleaning the bead, it is filled with teeny 4 mm swarovski crystal bicones. In this case I went crazy and used every color in my box. I then riveted the bead with sterling silver tubing and made my own sterling silver beadcaps.

Each cap is stamped with a personal note, for instance, I have four kids, so I have four beads capped with their names and dates of birth.
I love dancing, so a dancing queen bead is included as well. Drama? Drama is my middle name, so off course there's a drama queen bead.

All the beads are added on a thick sterling silver chain by my dear friend Mirjam (www.ayutrade.nl)
