Special thanks to Patti’s Ratties for her snowman pattern that I adapted to make this fun Hunter Snowman. I turned 50 this year and developed the love of letting off steam and stress at the local gun range. I sit in the bed watching the hunting shows (Bone Collector is my favorite) at night when I can’t sleep. So it just seem natural to create a Hunter Snowman to go in our line of Snowman for your doors or walls all winter long.

This snowman is made from white fleece. He has a hand stitched face with black glass beads for eyes. His nose, cap and gloves are made from a cotton fabric that looks like that famous “Mossy Oak” you wear to hunt. He has a scarf around his neck that is made from a hunters fleece. This hunter snowman is holding a deer rifle made from brown felt. Hunter Snowman stands 13 inches tall and is made to hang inside the house or on a door that is not exposed to the elements.

Our creations are not for play, but collecting and loving. They are intended for ages 13 and up.

I have been creating waffle cone ornies or ornaments for 3 years now after someone mention on a fourm how cool it would be to make an "ornie" using a waffle cone. This is my 2009 Updated Version or should I say Versions.

You will receive with each order 3 waffle cone ornaments...one of vanilla, one in chocolate and one in strawberry. Each cone is created from a waffled muslin that I stained in a mixture of instant coffee and vanilla then baked to a nice light brown color. The ice cream on each cone is made from fleece... white, chocolate brown and light pick for strawberry. The faces are handsewn with black glass beads for eyes. The sizes of each Ice Cream Cone will vary as they are all created by hand. They run in size from 6-8 inches long.

These cones are created in what is considered the primitive style and do have a slight fragrance from the coffee/vanilla stain. These are ornaments and not for play. They are intended for ages 13 and up.

Up for adoption is our New Wave Snowman SPARKLES. He is all decked out in Neon Greens and Pinks!Sparkles is created from a Patti Rattie's pattern. He is made from white fleece and is wearing a hat and mittens made from dark green felt. His boots are dark green felt on the front and neon green on the backside. He has accents of sparkle neon poof balls and is wearing a scraft made from a Neon green New Wave Christmas fabric.

Sparkles measures 14 inches tall and has a hanger on the back of his head so you have hang him on your door or wall. Just make sure he doesn't get wet or he will melt. Sparkles is holding a really cool Christmas tree. His tree measures 12 inches tall and is made from matching fabric to his scarf and accents with a long cinnamon stick for a trunk. His tree is not attached so he can hold it right or left handed or when the holidays are over he can put away his tree and just welcome everyone to your home all winter long.

Shabby and Chic Snowman Brown and Pink Door Doll

First let me thank Patti’s Ratties for the pattern for this cute Snowman Door Hanger. This Snowman is shabby and oh so chic! He is made from white light fleece and measures 13 ½ inches tall. His face is hand stitched with a carrot nose made from orange felt that is slightly stuffed. His eyes are black glass beads. He has a snowflake smile made from crochet thread.

This Snowman has a silver jingle bells for buttons. He is wearing pink mittens with white snowflake buttons. His hat and shoes are made from brown felt and have snowflake buttons sewn here and there on them. His scarf, hat and mitten trims are a nice brown print with a white and pink design. A nice “dusting of snow” may be found on his hat, shoes and even his carrot nose. This snowman is holding a snow tipped bottle brush tree which has a cinnamon stick for a trunk. His hand are sewn together but the tree is only slipped into his folded arms so you may take it out
you want to leave him up all winter long. NO glue was used to create this snowman just love.

It's getting to be that time of the year when the evenings (and some of you all day) get a little nippy and what better way to ward off the chill than hot choclate.

This hot chocolate soap was mainly created with castile soap base. The chocolate part of the bar is castile soap base with mica and hot chocolate fragrance oil added.

The top or "white" part of the bar is made from castile soap to which we added a small amount of coconut glycerin soap cut to look like marshmallows. The top was dusted with Starbucks Moca Powder.
Each bar weighs in a little over 2 oz.

This ornie is made from waffled muslin that was stained in walnut ink with cinnamon rub and carrot cake scent. The snow head is made from warm and natural. The faces are stitched with glass bead eyes. The nose on the ornie is made from fall homespun (homespun fabrics may vary)that has been slightly stuffed to get it a 3-D look. Like the fun cone we ate as a child, each of these little guys will come with “nuts” on the top of his head. The nuts are steel cut oats hot glued on. . Each ornie is all hand crafted and range from 5-6 inches long. Your ornie will come with a hang tie and is ready to hang on your tree all winter long. Inspiration for these ornies came from Viki with Home Spun Hugs and Calico Kisses and Kelle with 2 Dancing Crows. (You will receive one ornie for this price.) This past year I have taken up going to the gun range with my husband and the first thing I noticed was that my Shooting Range Glasses were getting scratched up. I mean I am buying a new pair of glasses every month because one can't shoot to well when you are looking through scratches and it's not safe. I went looking for a case and all the cases are hard and they scratched up my glasses even more. There went 20+ dollars down the drain.
I went home and after talking to my husband made my own soft shooting range glass case. This Hand Soap is made from clear glycerin soap in which we embeded 2 plastic boney hands. The base of this soap is made from chocolate scented goats milk soap. This soap weighs in at 7 3/8 oz and measures 4 by 4 inches.
This would be a hoot in the bathroom for your gothic bath.

The pictures do not do this soap justice. My daughter says that the soap looks like hands sitting in soil of a grave.

Every month or so the SafeTeam, here in “Etsyland” holds a challenge to help get the soap bubbles out of our brains. My girls and I work in Melt N Pour soaps and have been exploring new and fun ways to make unique soaps. Our newest Challenge is Alice In Wonderland. We pick a character and create a soap based on that character. Since my 2 girls and I soap together we each picked our favorite character in a hat and we picked one to create. Our three favorites were The Cheshire Cat, The Jabberwock and Caterpillar. As you can tell from the picture, my favorite character WON! I love reading Alice in Wonderland and it was not until I was in college that I realized what this story was all about. Guess I led a sheltered life.

This Cheshire Cat Soap is made up of 3 different soap bases and took a few steps to create. This soap is created in layers so that you can see his wonderful big white smile and black and yellow eyes. In the background we choose to use the pink and purple colors he liked to turn. We used clear glycerin soap, coconut glycerin soap and goats milk soap. Only the purple layer is scented.

What scent you ask? Well since we truly believe that Mr Carroll himself took a few bong hits(or something stronger perhaps) when he wrote Alice in Wonderland, this soap is a nice 70s hash brownie scent. Yes it has a wonderful dark chocolate brownie fragrance with a touch of Mary Jane (pot that is). Each soap is unique to itself as they are each made by hand and one at a time…layer upon layer of soaping goodness.

Fact or Fiction????
Texas Jackalopes are something many a Texan has said they have seen but few can prove it. I opened my door one morning to see this fun little critter staring at me.

Jack informed me he was really tired of Texas and would love to live up north...Any takers? We are lowering Jack's prize to 18.00 that includes is traveling fees too!

This is something I have wanted to create for a long time and finally sat down this week (in-between college applications with my youngest) and whipped him up. Jack is made from brown canvas fabric. He is a nice size critter, 18 inches tall and 10 inches wide. He weighs in at just under 2 pounds. Jack’s face is hand stitched and he has black jasper beads for eyes.

Jack is wearing a bow tie made of burgundy and white homespun checked fabric. He is also holding a hand made carrot that measures about 7 inches long. He comes signed and with his one Jackalope hangtag.

Jack has a fluffy tail and spot on the top of his head created from cream crochet thread. The insert of Jack’s ears are hand stitched vintage fabric. His antlers are made from natural muslin. Jack has NOT been primed up but if you want him good and dirty just let me know and he can hit the AC2 Prim mix before he heads to the post office and your way.

What a fun way to remember the 60s and of course we know what was in the past comes back to the future always. This frog is an original AC2 stuffie doll.She is made to sit just about anywhere you want him too. Peace is made from fabric I actually had a dress made out of back in 1965. The fabric is a stiff cotton with bright hearts and designs. She is created in a 3-D style with stuffed eyes and lips. Her eyes are hand painted and she has plastic doll eye lashes. Peace measures 9 inches wide and just a tad under 10 inches tall. Remember she is weighted to sit and not fall over.

Loopy measures 12 inches tall and about 20 inches long.
