This one of a kind mini-mask wall sculpture uses color and imagery reminiscent of the peace movement. I used acrylic paint on a sturdy cardboard form formerly used as packing inside of a new shoe. It is hollow and light, yet strong. I have attached a wire to the back for hanging.

Completely one of a kind, signed on the back.

Measures approx. 7.5" long, 3.75" across, and 2.75" from tip of the nose to the wall when hung.

This piece was recently made as a challenge to make something green -- using the color, saying something about the environment, or both. These imagined sea creatures hint that there are so many life forms yet undiscovered... considering the care and survival of future life, too.

There are three fish or pollywog like creatures, as well as egg and wing symbols. Paper and tissue paper are collaged into the surface on a hand-stretched canvas.

Canvas measures 10" x 10". A 1/4" lattice frame in natural finish is attached (1.5" wide strips.)

The white parts of these handmade bear beads glow in the dark! The backs are solid black. They dangle from 3/4" sterling silver hoops. Funky and fun!

The reason these bears are undead is that they started out as human skulls. I wanted to see what a skull would look like with bear ears, and one thing lead to another! They are just a little surprised to be undead and featured on fun jewelry.

The discs are 5/8". The length of the earring from top of hoop to bottom of polymer clay disc is 1 and 3/16". Slight irregular shaping and detailing due to being made by hand.

Ever want something truly different for your mantle or table top?

Two bears fight over one heart, thus breaking it. Perhaps it is the symbol of their dying love. Perhaps it's just my twisted sense of humor having fun with a reclaimed craft blank someone never got around to decorating. Perhaps they lost the instructions for the cutesy pre-packaged crafts project. Too bad.

Rough around the edges, unsanded craft blank painted with acrylic. Base color is an earthy rust brown color.

3 vintage candles like the one shown will be included. Please don't leave candles burning unattended. This object of art is not treated other than being coated with acrylic. (who would burn a candle in a wooden holder anyway?) - Its purpose is more artistic/decorative, but do what you will, there's my disclaimer.

Oh and it's not all bad, I think deep down the bears are enjoying it a bit. Perhaps it's just a playful game. :)

In my personal mythology, which sometimes is a mystery to me as I paint yet unfolds over time if I'm paying attention, this is a beautiful creature that once suffered. She often created chaos and pain for herself and others because of her own losses, confusion and self neglect. Through gradual transformation, she has come to find peace within herself, a nurturing and loving soul by nature.

She is moving on and leaving a city of memories to take care of itself. Content to live in the present and serve as a symbol of strength and grace to others, she is wearing a turquoise bikini and combat boots for doing important work which moves her to perform.

The painting measures 16" x 22" x .75". It is unframed. The outside edges are painted with a deep blue-green slate color. It can be framed however you like or simply hung as is.

This started out as a stack of jack-o-lanterns, and very quickly some different forms emerged. I see a skull, jack-o-lantern, and owl.

This unique piece is handmade of polymer clay and completely one of a kind. In addition to being worn as a pendant, it can be used as a focal bead, zipper or cord pull, or hung in a window.

It is 3.75" long, and about 1 and 1/8" across at widest point.

Coated with protective varnish.

Make your fun statement with these slightly sparkly avocado earrings!
The handmade polymer clay avocado beads are about 1.25" long, and just under 1" across at widest point. The earrings measure 2" from top of ear wire to bottom of avocado.

I mixed in metallic colored polymer clay, so there is a slight sparkle. Backs are solid black with touches of sparkle.

The avocados are irregularly shaped, due to being made by hand, so not exactly identical in shape and pattern. The pair pictured in the first four images is the pair you will receive. (the fourth image is of a different pair, I posted it to show what the backs look like.)

I enjoy making these and hope you will enjoy wearing them, too.

I try to make each pair of bacon earrings unique. The nice thing about this pair is that I used translucent clay to capture that moment when the bacon hits the pan. They look oh so lovely when the light shines through them.
