Chester the Jerboa

I decided to make this little guy after seeing a photo of an interesting rodent - the Long Eared Jerboa. Jerboas are small rodents that have strangely long legs that they use to jump. The Long Eared Jerboa has giant ears because it helps keep it cool in the desert heat. Sad thing is, Jerboas are endangered! Chester is made of a lovely cream felt, sewn with 100% cotton thread and stuffed with 100% wool. He is nearly 4 inches tall including the ears, and 2 inches long from nose to back end. Like all my felt animals, he was free cut with no patterns and therefore quite one-of-a-kind!

(Chester will stand up be himself; you just might need to adjust the ears a bit!)

Felt Song Bird

I frequently draw/sew/imagine birds of all sorts that don't actually exist, and here is one of them. This bird has a lovely tuft of red and gold at the end of her tail, and a pattern below her wing looks very much like a sprig of holly. She also has a little green circle under her eye.

This bird was made with beautiful cream felt, 100% wool stuffing and 100% cotton thread. Like all my felt animals she was completely free-cut and sewn, without patterns. (Meaning she's quite one-of-a-kind!)

She's just a bit over 3 inches long, and is about 1 1/4 inch at the widest part. She can't stand up by herself. If you'd like I can add a string so you can hang her up - just tell me what color you'd like.

Nigel the Narwhal

Nigel is a friendly narwhal who loves fencing. (It's easy with a built in sword!) In fact, he's won lots of medals for his skill. Besides fencing he loves drinking tea and taking long swims by himself to think about things.

His body's about 4 1/2 inches long. The tusk itself is about 3 1/4 inches. At the widest part (across his middle) he's 1 1/2 inches. He stands up by himself.

These wonderfully Halloweeny cards are perfect to send autumn wishes to family and friends. They were made with stamps that were hand carved and stamped by me.

These blank cards come in a pack of 5 cards and 5 envelopes.

Like all my cards, these will be shipped with cardboard to prevent any bending.

Fred the Dog

Fred is a little green dog with dark green spots and golden swirls. He is a very shy dog who's afraid of almost everything. Spiders, mummies, the dark, mice, rats, natural disasters, ice cream, you name it! He'll need to go to a loving home where there aren't too many scary things.

Fred is just over 6" long and 5" tall, and is stuffed with 100% wool and sewn with 100% cotton thread. He will come with a ribbon around his neck; you pick the color. (Or I'll send a random one.)

Earl the Cat

Earl is a bit of a strange cat. He's got a funny tongue so it's always sticking out and everyone thinks he's being rude, but he really isn't. He also has a birthmark shaped exactly like a snowflake, even though he doesn't like the cold that much. His favorite food is pancakes. He'd eat them for every meal if he could!

Cornelius is a red dinosaur with green spikes and yellow dots on his back. He has a bit of a nasty temper, so you better not steal his cookies. (He HATES it when someone steals his cookies!) His favorite things to do are: gather cookies, and hide them.
