Beachy Meachy, Set of 2 Wall Hangings

This listing is for a set of two mixed media art pieces.

One wall hanging has a photo of two eccentric beach goers and the other is of a dapper gentleman on a boat deck. These photos are from my own vintage photo collection and the people from this set were part of a 1920's travelling
vaudeville troupe. Quite the characters indeed.

I painted and patina'd the boards, adhered the enlarged photo and coated the pieces with several layers of gloss sealant. The pieces hang from a heavy wire.

These mixed media art pieces are done on 12"w x 7 1/2"h boards (about 1/4" thick).

**I will seperate these if you're just interested in one. I also have many other wacky photos from this set that will be made into art pieces in the future.

This listing is for a set of 4 magnets. They're all printed from digital collages that I've made, then printed onto fabric with flexible magnets on the back. They're all tame except for the one chicky with her boobs out, she don't even care.

They look very cute all nestled together on the fridge or memo board :) The magnet backs are not super strong, but one will still hold a piece of constuction paper up.

Shanghai Happiness Necklace...

This listing is for a lovely necklace that I've pieced together using all kinds of old found jewelry parts.

The chain is 22" long and has copper links painted white. The focal bead is a green ceramic square painted with a little floral motif. Each side is flanked by a pretty pink threaded ball and one side of the chain has 4 opalescent beads as well.

The white paint has chipped off the chain a bit, adding to the time worn look.

Very pretty :)

These 6 lovely coasters were decoupaged with gorgeous decorative paper and then distressed. The edges are wrapped with copper and the whole piece is multi-coated with a glossy sealant to protect them from moisture and also to bring out the radiance of the bright colors underneath. The holder is of course decoupaged in the same pattern as you can see :)))

The colors are dark orange, white, gray and copper. They have a very royal or aristocratic feel to them and would go beautifully with many decors.

***one side of the holder was decoupaged with the paper upside down! *oopsie* It's not very noticeable with the repetetive pattern, but the price is discounted because of the error (see pix)

This is a 4 sided lovely piece of functional art for your home. This one has an old world European look to it, with mostly Italian references. The inside is painted a lovely gold and almost looks like gold leaf.

*This box measures 9 3/4"w x 6 1/8"d x 5 3/8"h (plus the handle). The box will be coated with a protective sealant that will give it a beautiful lustrous finish, I do this after the photos are taken to reduce any glare while photographing.

These frames have been painted and distressed then collaged with old stamps, decorative papers and bits of Irish ephemera that I've collected over the years.

Each frame measures 11/ 1/4" x 9 1/4".

The mirror area (or space for photo) is 5 x 7.

There are pre-drilled holes on the back for easy hanging.

Just by looking and listening to this exotic jewelry box, you'll be magically whisked away to far off lands.

This is an altered music box that has been painted and decoupaged with eastern inspired elements to give it an old world aura.

I'm not sure what the song is that it plays, but it's a beautifully haunting little tune. Still plays nicely though for the most part, a couple times I've wound it there's been a bit of a squeaky sound, other times it didn't squeak at all.

The inside is covered in red velvet and there is a compartment where the musical mechanisms are. There is a keyhole in the front however there is no key for locking.

What we have here is a lovely little decoration to add to your potted plants, garden, etc. It's painted black, copper and various shades of pink and blue in a whimsical, dotted, sort of folk art style. Eash side is painted a bit differently so it's lovely from all sides :)

They look nice bunched together in a vase too, like your own eternally blooming flower arrangement :)

They're 8" in length and sealed several times with a waterproof varnish but may not tolerate bucketloads of rain season after season. Best for indoor potted plants.
