Original Illustration - Collecting Feathers

This painting represents the lovely variations of colour found in nature and my interest in arranging objects.

The painting is done on 9 x 9" white card ready for framing.

All work is signed and dated.

Thanks for looking!

The oilcloth has small white polkadots of approx 9mm diameter which I have joined up dot-to-dot style on my sewing machine to make a cool cellular formation. A white 7" zip compliments the pattern in white.

Pencil case measures 4 and 3/4" x 8 and 3/4" so is plenty big enough to hide your pens, pencils and love notes.

Thanks for looking!

It would make a sweet addition to any nook needing a dash of colour.

Each tile I make is bisque fired and then I add the glass to the hollowed-out design. The tile receives a second firing to melt the glass and when it comes out the glassy areas often have a beautiful crackled effect. The finished piece provides a lovely contrast between the shiny glass and the natural matte clay surface.

This tile measures 5" x 5" and has a hole at the top measuring just over 1/8" across for hanging.

Thanks so much for looking!

I love how the colours sit together, and yes the sun is made from a lovely creamy-yellow moleskine page!

I hope you like this slightly new direction my work is taking, wood veneer is the way forward I think! For this landscape scene I've used security pattern envelopes, vintage marbled paper, and a hand-cut lino original lino print as featured in a book project I was set at university before Christmas. The print is in a lovely almost olivey brown.

Cut pieces of paper are mounted on white card measuring 9x9", ready for you to frame and display. Design measures 5 and 1/2" by 6 and 1/2".

All work is signed and dated and will be supplied wrapped in tissue paper and sandwiched between rigid card for posting.

Thanks for looking!

Limited Edition Screen print Freakshow Poster A1 large

$50.00
This poster is big!

I made a limited edition of 8 of these for a brief at university where we were looking at the exciting typography of freakshows and circus posters from the late 18th to mid-19th century. We had to come up with our own "freak" to publicise and this is the finished result of my research.

Each poster measures 33 and 1/4" by 23 and 1/2" which is A1 size. It would make quite a statement in a room as the colours are bright magenta, straw yellow, black and a bold turquoise. I cut each letter with a scalpel out of paper, stuck them to tru-grain and exposed onto a huge screen. I then printed the posters one colour at a time, in the order black, yellow, turquoise, magenta.

The print will come rolled in tissue paper and supplied in a cardboard tube.
All prints are numbered, signed and dated.

Thanks for looking!

It frees up your drawing style and gets you really looking at things. Plus, it's always a surprise when you look back down at your page at the end!

This print is in a bright tuquoise, I wanted to try and mix up colours that I saw in Porto and pops of this colour kept appearing on washing lines hanging on balconies, on plant pots, bird cages - everywhere, and it looked amazing in the sun.

The print is made on card meauring 11.75" square, ready to frame.

I made lots for a party I had recently and fell in the love with the little triangles of happy colours. This cute little collage captures a summertime feel and would look equally as beautiful in a child's bedroom or in a grown-up space.

For this collage I have used felt tip on cartridge paper, acrylic paint on paper, pink record cards, and the bunting string is drawn in pencil.

Cut pieces of paper are mounted on white card measuring 9 x 9", ready for you to frame and display. Design measures 5 and 1/4" x 5 and 1/4"" .

All work is signed and dated and will be supplied wrapped in tissue paper and sandwiched between rigid card for posting.

Thanks for looking!

Ceramic wall plaque with glass - Trees

$35.00
This cute little wall plaque (or hanging tile as I prefer to call them) features three little bubble trees. It would make a sweet housewarming present or addition to any nook needing a dash of colour.

This tile measures 5" x 6" and has a hole at the top measuring 1/4" across for hanging.

Thanks so much for looking!

Original Illustration - Collecting Coral

I think nowadays you're not allowed to buy or sell it as it's a protected species but the stuff that is still about from the 1950s is worth looking out for, the colour is just beautiful!

Whilst restringing the little bits of coral it reminded me of a painting of twigs I did lately and I thought it would be fun to make a collection painting in that lovely orangey coral red. I hope you like the result.

The watercolour is painted directly onto fresh white card measuring 9 x 9" ready for you to frame.

All work is signed and dated and will be supplied wrapped in tissue paper and sandwiched between rigid card for posting.

Thanks for looking!

I then scored my stones design to reveal the white clay underneath. This technique is called scaffito and is just so fun to do!

The tile measures 4 and 3/4" by 6 and 1/2" and is 3/8" thick. The hole at the top measures approximately 1/8" across for hanging.

Thanks for looking
