This cute little hanging tile is made from white stoneware clay. The clay is rolled out and cut to shape and then when it dries to "leather hard" I have engraved the design. The tile is then fired and then filled with glass beads, fired again at a high temperature and hey presto!

This tile measures 5 x5" and has a hole at the top measuring 1/8th of an inc ready for hanging.

All tiles are packed carefully in bubble wrap and in a cardboard box for shipping.

This original watercolour illustration is the eleventh in what has turned into a series of small paintings of feathers.

I went to Scotland over summer and whilst frolicking around Loch Ness taking pictures and enjoying the sun, I collected lots of interesting bits and pieces including twigs, pebbles, fir cones and of course feathers. This painting represents the lovely variations of colour found in nature and my interest in arranging objects.

The painting is done on 9 x 9" white card ready for framing.

All work is signed and dated.

Made from durable mint oilcloth (the stuff waterproof tablecloths are made of) and a stitched triangular pattern, you will be the coolest kid in class this semester! The oilcloth has small white polkadots of approx 9mm diameter which I have joined up dot-to-dot style on my sewing machine to make a cool cellular formation. A white 7" zip compliments the pattern in white.

Pencil case measures 4 and 3/4" x 8 and 3/4" so is plenty big enough to hide your pens, pencils and love notes.

Original Paper Collage - Geometry circle in blue

This piece is arranged in a circular shape to contrast with the linear papers I've used to make it. I have a huge collection of different papers and in this collage I've used security pattern envelopes, photocopies of fabric, graph paper and vintage computer punch cards.

Cut pieces of paper are mounted on white card measuring 9x9", ready for you to frame and display. Design measures just over 5" diameter.

All work is signed and dated and will be supplied wrapped in tissue paper and sandwiched between rigid card for posting.

This cute little hanging tile features a pretty wooden chair, picked out in crackly brown glass. It would make a sweet addition to any nook needing a dash of colour.

Each tile I make is bisque fired and then I add the glass to the hollowed-out design. The tile receives a second firing to melt the glass and when it comes out the glassy areas often have a beautiful crackled effect. The finished piece provides a lovely contrast between the shiny glass and the natural matte clay surface.

This tile measures 5" x 5" and has a hole at the top measuring just over 1/8" across for hanging.

This original papercut and collage piece was based on a typographic book that I produced for a university project, which you can see here:

The piece is made out of white card measuring 11 x 14" which has had two pieces of coloured card added to show up the hand-cut numbers, 51 and 6. I have then mounted this on a separate sheet of white card of the same size.

Original papercut - Books

This papercut features a minimalist design of a bookcase. It consists of one sheet of off-white Fabriano paper which was cut by me with a very sharp scalpel. I then mounted it on a beautiful soft green grey card to show the design subtly.

The overall dimensions are 11 x 14".

This piece will be wrapped in tissue paper and sandwiched between two sheets of rigid card for shipping.

Original Paper Collage - Alpine lodges

This original collage is made with real wood veneer, a vintage record card, tissue paper and I've drawn on the lodges with a brush pen.

I've gone for a slightly larger (and portrait) format for a change using A3 (29,7 x 42 cm) card, so it's easy for you to frame. I love how the colours sit together, and yes the sun is made from a lovely creamy-yellow moleskine page!

I hope you like this slightly new direction my work is taking, wood veneer is the way forward I think! I'm sure that this would add a little apline serenity to any corner of your home.
