A delicate mix of pale pale orange, brick red and all the rich tones in between with just a hint of orange sparkle. 60% Alpaca processed from raw local fleece, kettle dyed for a range of shades, blended with commercial wool roving and mylar sparkles. The photos hardly do the colors justice, they are even richer than shown! Spun in to a fine sock weight yarn with slight thick and thin variations.

100 yards. 3 oz. 12 wraps per inch. Handwash and treat like all fine natural fiber yarns. Dyed with Acid washfast dyes, the first few times it is washed it may color the water but will not transfer or fade. Because this was minimally processed to preserve the natural fluff and water wicking properties of the alpaca, there is an amount of hay/sticks/grass and other natural bits. Effort was made to remove these during processing and spinning, but more will appear as you knit, crochet, or weave with it.

Ahhhh, spring is blooming and we want to keep the buds forever! This yarn was spun with 90% pure white Merino Top (so soft!) and 10% commercially dyed deep green Corridale running like a mist through it. It was then dyed with wash fast acid colors in pale green, bright yellow, light mauve, and small burst of orange on one skein. If you wanted to use both for a project you would simply go back and forth between skeins for continuity.

Ahhhhh summer! This yarn is dyed in tones of rich tropical turquoise, light lagoon blue, sea grass green and drift wood tan. A varigated selection of cool colors for your knitting (or crocheting, or weaving...) pleasure! Hand spun with slight variations from pure merino wool top commercial roving. Dyed with love and acid wast-fast dyes for a lifetime of use from your wonderful handicrafts!

Each skein is about 120 yards. About 4oz. 8 wraps to the inch, for use with larger needle sizes. Most skeins are wrapped in 2 yard loops, this has been specially preped in FOUR YARD loops for dying. The colors blend and return slowly to reduce pooling and give more variation. A narrow row would stripe slowly.

This yarn was spun from roving dyed at the same time as my Bonfire colorway. Like the colors of a fire that has more modestly faded it is full of rich yellow, dusky rust orange and faint splashes of red and pink. A streaky fine yarn.
