I start with .999 fine silver and I weave it around a larger gauge of .999 fine silver! Then I wrap the woven piece around the stone. This one is Labradorite, Chrysoprase, Malachite, Moonstone and Opal.
This is a new art form for me but I am really enjoying it, truth be told I finish one and I am already thinking about the next.
This one is almost two and a half inches from top to bottom.

A beautiful natural turquoise, wrapped in sterling silver. The top is large enough for most chains and collars. It can easily be worn be men or women. It is a little large, 2" long by 1" wide. This is a wire wrapped necklace. Each link is wrapped around a lovely faceted amazonite bead with argentium silver(the new silver that does not tarnish as easily as sterling). In between each bead is a soldered sterling silver twisted ring. The focal bead is 2" wide and 4 beads are wrapped into it. It is 18" long,finished with a heart clasp. A really lovely necklace!

Beautiful hand made glass Yoyo's, wire wrapped. The yoyo's have a bit of irridesent shimmer to them. I set a 5mm Swarovski crystal and some tiny bali beads above the yoyo's. They are 1 & 3/4" from the top of the sterling silver earwire to the bottom of the yoyo. All metal is sterling silver.

These pearls are a touch pink, and 8mm so they are large. I put a Swarovski crystal in between each one, finished with a large sterling silver hook clasp. They have a luster that makes them look and feel like real pearls. So beautiful. Matching earrings sold separately.
FYI:
Shell pearls are made from south sea oyster shell, not a simulated material, they have a mother of pearl bead at the center, given a high gloss. Shell pearls are not genuine pearls. They are made from the shell of an oyster. The process involves pulverizing the shell and then melting the mix down. High powered sprayers are used to coat a mother of pearl bead.

Rhodonite Drusy pendant with pale pink rose quarts beads make up this lovely loving necklace. Small sterling silver spacer beads in between each bead give it just the right contrast and frame each bead with a little silver sparkle. The Rhodanite Drusy pendant has tiny quartz crystals in it, mostly on the left side. This pendant is finished off with sterling silver chain and a spring ring which almost disappears when clasped.
It is 16" long.
