I fell in love with California the moment I arrived there: the people, the way of life, and especially the weather! I really enjoyed visiting the different wineries with their sublime scenery that I wanted to make a bracelet that captured my experience. The Syrah bracelet features lots of pinks, reds and yellow-greens. There are Grossular Green Garnet rondelles, pale Lemon Quartz onions and diamond-shaped beads, and sprinkled here and there are Rhodolite Garnets and Watermelon Tourmaline slices. Each bead is hand-wrapped in a 24k gold Vermeil ball headpin and gathered underneath handmade 24k gold Vermeil ornate button earring posts. All gemstones are AA or AAA quality.

These earrings possess warm and calming colors, evoking images of Tuscany. In fact, the inspiration for the Quorra earrings came from a painting by Etsyan artist Barbara Carter titled "Cypress and Villa", which I thought beautifully captured the essence of a sun drenched Mediterranean countryside. I've been thinking of a sunny, magical place where turquoise waters meet the wonderful golden beaches of the Aegean and Mediterranean coastline, aromatic scents waft from the local spice market, fountains, temples, and a kaleidoscope of brightly colored tiles line the magnificent Roman baths.

Kismet. These earrings feature flawless, leaf-like carved Lemon Quartz briolettes at the base. Nestled just above are clusters of Neon Blue Apatite, deeper, darker Peacock Blue Apatite teardrops, and Smoky Quartz rounds, each handwired with Vermeil headpins. Finally, I've added 24kt Vermeil beads and earwires.

Total length is 1-5/8" (4/13cm).
