Ecru Spindle Box

You spend $30, $40 or $50 for a drop spindle. Don’t you want to protect it? If you toss it in a cloth bag with your fiber, it could easily be broken and the hook catches on the fiber, snagging it when you try to get it out. Store it and carry it around in one of my spindle boxes. Breakage becomes much less of a concern and your fiber stays neat.

Inside the spindle box, there’s an elastic band on one end to hook your spindle so it stays put and doesn’t move around. On the top of the box are two pieces of elastic for storing knitting needles or crochet hooks. The box will fit drop spindles measuring up to 4"X13".

The box also makes a handy way to carry around your socks-in-progress.
