I was ECSTATIC to see that the wood shop I frequent had another one of these, as they discontinued them last year. Why was I ecstatic? I have one and I adore it! So I figured someone out there in etsy-land might adore one too!

The wood is rough cut cedar, which I painted first, then sanded, which only removes the paint from the top ridges of the grain. I absolutely LOVE that weathered look!

I used pre-rusted wire to join the pieces (it's sort of like a puzzle) and gave all the ends cute little curly-cues.

Specs:
From the bottom of the heart to the top of the wire loop is 26 3/4 inches. The actual wood part from top to bottom is 17 1/2 inches tall by 16 1/2 inches wide.

If you want, I can add a raffia bow to the top part of the loop, love raffia with this style! Or I can leave it as it is. Let me know!

Painted Wooden Frame

This is a painted wooden frame. I added ribbon to the side, which is tied in such a way that the photo can be placed and the ribbon can be adjusted to your liking before tightening the frame backing.

Measures 8 5/8 square. The photo opening is 5 3/8, with a 1/4 inch ledge for the backing.

Will include a metal hanger for you to attach where you'd like it (in case you want the ribbon on the top or bottom instead of the side).

This is a wooden dragonfly which can be used as a doorhanging or a wallhanging. I think it'd be cute in a kid's room too.

From top of wire hanger to bottom of wood: 24.5 inches
From top of wood to bottom of wood: 15.5 inches
Wingspan: 16.5 inches

Acrylic paint, clear sealer on body and flower, pearlescent spray and clear sealer on wings, buttons for eyes and flower center, wire hanger.

Faux-weathered Heart with Star Cutout

This is a smaller version of the one I just posted, but this one is all one piece and I believe it's made of pine.

I painted the whole thing white, sanded it a bit to let that gorgeous wood grain and knot show through, and then I masked off and painted the stripes and then sanded them too to give that weathered look. For the blue section, I put little star stickers on, painted over them, removed the stickers and sanded.

This turned out so much cuter than I thought it would honestly! I'll be sad to see it go. But I bought it to sell, so sell it I shall! :D

Specs:
