Chester is a handsome dog. All the girls say so. Standing at 8 inches tall x 4 inches wide, he strikes quite a dashing pose in his brown plaid cotton scarf. He loves to read vintage books, so if you're scheming to run into him, check out the library or used book store. His friends call him Chet. Daisy Mae is a pretty girl and she knows her way around a party. Made from vintage herringbone tweed wool that has been boiled, she stands 7.5 inches tall and is 3 inches wide. The front of her outfit is made from a vintage embroidered linen tablecloth and her collar is pale pink crochet. On her left ear she wears a vintage earring --the flower is formed by sequins and tiny beads.

Daisy has always been sweet on Chet, but Chet's friends think that she is too wild for him. Chet's the quiet type and no one really knows what he thinks. Until today. They’ve both been playing the field on etsy, but starting today, they’re a couple, a combo, a package deal.

John Cusack and Dermot Mulroney are both adorable, but it was Mother Theresa, the loyal and loveable Newfoundland, who stole my heart in "Must Love Dogs."

This Newfie dog is part of my Giant Dog Breeds Ornament collection. Made from my own pattern design, she measures 5.75 inches (14.6 cm) tall by 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) wide. Her scarf is made from an actual red cotton print bandana (vintage, of course!), the eyes are modern day glass beads, and the nose is embroidered. She even has floppy ears! The embroidered ribbon hanger is made of vintage trim from Switzerland.

Inspired by the biggest, sweetest dog I ever knew, named Puppy. A neighbor’s dog, he would walk me to work every morning, and make sure I was delivered safely, before he headed back home.

The inspiration for BLANKIE DOGS came from a book of beloved childhood stuffed dogs. Some of them had been so loved for 50+ years, that there was literally nothing left but shredded rags. And still, the owners would not, could not part with them!

Made from my own pattern, this little one-of-a-kind guy is very huggable at 12 inches tall x 6.5 inches wide. Made from a vintage, 100% wool blanket in a muted aqua, and a black and navy tartan plaid velvet. His deep brown eyes are appliquéd wool felt and his nose and smile are embroidered. His collar is made of vintage embroidered trim. He wears his heart as a badge (made of red houndstooth check wool) and he loves to sit in the garden. A sweet little yellow flower is appliquéd on his blanket side. He's patiently waiting for his new owner to give him a name. One they both will like.

Looks great on jean jackets, but you can also pin it to your purse or tote bag. Measures 3 inches wide x 2 inches tall.

This Chocolate Labrador Retriever ornament measures approximately 6 inches (15.2 cm) tall x 4.5 inches wide and is made from my own pattern. One side is a rich brown, 100% vintage wool and the other side is a luxurous Pendleton wool plaid in brown and golden yellow. The brown gingham collar is embellished with a blue and gold button, and tied in a festive bow.

With glass bead eyes, embroidered nose, floppy ears, and charming smile. The tail is wired inside so it can bend, oops, I mean, wag!

The Love Bunnies are coming! This little fellow is fresh from a romp in the flower garden - notice the floral print on the right ear!

The second in a series of one-of-a-kind rabbits, this snuggly friend measures 10 inches (25.4 cm) tall, with ears up, x 5 inches (12.7 cm) wide x 6 inches (15.2 cm) deep. With brown button eyes, floppy ears, embroidered nose, a fluffy white pom pon tail, and a turquoise ribbon collar. A little red wool heart is appliqued onto the left side.

Adapted from a vintage pattern, I made LOVE BUNNY No. 2 using a soft, lambswool angora blend sweater in a deep turquoise / teal color, and an abstract print vintage scarf in aqua, teal and white. All fabric was freshly washed before cutting. Both machine and hand-stiching were used to make this little cutie! Filled with non-allergenic premium polyfil.

Whose heart will she steal - will it be yours?

Not recommended for unsupervised play by small children because of the button eyes and pom pon tail. But does look so cute displayed on a nursery shelf!

This Chow Chow dog ornament was inspired by a custom request. It is such a pleasure to make because it reminds me of "Bear" - a much loved dog that walked the streets of my neighborhood for many years, and was always accepting of a big hug from me every time I saw him!

The front side is a soft, fluffy, new faux fur that I hand-dyed a light cinnamon color and the other side is a beautiful Pendleton Wool plaid in cinnamon, browns and tans with a touch of cinnamon. Complete with amber colored glass bead eyes, dark muzzle, triangle shaped ears, and embroidered nose. The curled over tail is wired so it can gently bend. From my own pattern design, and hand-sewn with darker cinnaomon embroidery floss that was made in France. Measures inches 6.5 inches wide x 5.75 inches tall and is stuffed with non-allergenic fiberfill.

Made from a never-used vintage "Simone" scarf, she measures 17 inches tall and 14 inches wide. Gorgeous jewel tones of dark brown, tomato, orange, ywellow-gold, and mossy green form a stunning abstract floral pattern with co-ordinating stripes. The ears are lined with a soft cotton velvet in dark brown and her collar is made from layered vintage ribbon with a goldtone vintage jeweled bead.

Simone is well-stuffed with non-allergenic polyfil, making her very cuddly. Backed with 100% wool in a matching dark brown, this pillow can be used facing either way, and Simone is just as pretty from either side! The wool fabric and the scarf were both freshly washed before cutting.

She started out as a tiny little snowball, but every week she has doubled in size. I always have to take a second look. Is that really little Abby!

Grace lives on a rose farm in southern California with very many other cats. Mostly they roam and hide amongst the brightly colored rose bushes and small cottages that cover the land, enjoying the warm sun on their backs.

But Grace is a little different. She spends her days in the big and stately Victorian that is the main residence. Here she can keep her white coat pristine, and her black velvet collar is the perfect accessory for her setting. She does like to venture out for special occasions, and would love to accompany you, pinned to your coat, blouse, vest, hat, scarf or handbag.

Completely handsewn (I never, ever use glue) and generously sized for extra cuteness – brooch measures 3.75 inches tall x 2.25 inches wide. Comes attached to a 5 x 7 inch gift card, packaged in a cello bag and ready for gift giving.

This spunky Boston Terrier is eager to please, and is most happy holding your sewing pins, needles, safety pins and notions while you sew. When he looks up at you with his button eyes and little felt nose, how can you resist?

The cover is made from Black Wool(formerly a luxuriously thick winter coat), with creamy white and blue-ish grey 100% wool applique (recycled from vintage blankets). It is lined with black wool felt and the back cover has a pocket for thread and notions. The four inside pages made from wool felt, plus inside front covers give you 10 sides for storage, and you can add your sewing pins to the front for the whiskers!

I added a floss loop so you can hang it by your sewing machine. It looks really cute hanging on the wall!

Made from my own pattern, this little cutie measures 4 inches wide x 6 inches tall. It was very labor intensive because it is completely hand-sewn using the blanket stitch. I tried making a version of my needlebooks with machine stitching, and I just think it is so much nicer when it is sewn by hand! Made in a smoke-free home.

This Great Pyrenees dog ornament is part of my “Gentle Giant” Dog Breed Series. Made from soft, fluffy, whitest white new faux fur, and complete with floppy ears, glass bead eyes, trademark smile, and decorative ribbon hanger. Made from a vintage 100% wool tweed, in perfect doxie shades of brown and sienna. Complete with glass bead eyes, embroidered black nose, charming smile, floppy suede ears and tail, and argyle ribbon collar. She is just as finished on the back side as she is on the front, because we all know that most dachshunds have two eyes and two ears. From my own pattern and completely hand-sewn. Back side is wool plaid. No glue is used.

Brooch Measures 3.50 inches wide, including the tail x 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) tall. 1 inch pinback is sewn on and the stitches are covered with a pink heart. Goldie is a gorgeous Golden Retriever Mix. Her dad's side is pure Golden. She got the white gloves and socks from her mom's side of the family. Everyone in her crowd comments on how striking she is. She likes the attention, and even though her cashmere winter coat with flower button is removeable, she can be spotted wearing it all summer!

Goldie's mom is a big fan of Goldie Hawn movies. Goldie's dad thinks that Goldie was named for his side of the family, but Goldie's mom secretly smiles about that. No harm done, and everyone's happy!

Goldie is made from a vintage Wool Camel Hair Jacket that has been boiled and felted. Socks and gloves are off-white wool. She stands 7.5 inches tall and is 3.5 inches wide. Her cashmere coat / wrap snaps on and is removeable.

From a non-smoking home. Great for dog lovers of all ages, but not recommended for unsupervised play by small children because of the button nose. Looks so cute sitting on a shelf in a nursery! Perfect size to sit by your computer and keep you company.

Made from 100% wool and wool applique, with your choice of fabric for the back. All wool applique is hand sewn, which gives it a gentler, softer look than if it were machine stitched. Although this method is much more time consuming, I just love the resulting realistic appearance. Backing shown here is a beautiful pink silk, but I will work with you to choose the perfect color for the backside of your pillow -- one that matches the personality of your dog, as well as your room's color scheme.
