I've wrapped 4 mm faceted quartz stones around a Gold Filled Hoop Earring, even though the stones are in various shades of brown, red and golden quartz, I've carefully wrapped each earring to match as perfectly as possible.

I went the extra mile with my hoop earrings, I soldered the hoop together in one smooth circle rather than just using the wrapped wire to hold the loose ends together....why should you care?
It means that the hoop will NEVER flex or possibly loosen up, these babies are made to last!

hoops are 1 1/4" in diameter or 34mm if you like.

A beautiful vintage brass daisy flower has been soldered to a comfortable, handcrafted, half-round sterling silver ring.
A sterling silver ball dots the center of the daisy. Lovely to wear, this ring will get you noticed. The brass flower has been given a light copperplating but has been sanded back in areas to reveal the brass underneath. It will slowly oxidize over time, giving it a much-loved patina.

I only have a small amount of these daisy flower (12), once Ive used them up, I won't be making this version again! The daisy measures approximately 3/4" across.

Opulent Artisan Textile Cuff- Glitters Like Gold

Another in my series of romantic and decadent textile cuffs...

Inspired by the materials themselves, I have handstitched every last little bit of this cuff with great attention to detail.

I started with a base from a strip of a vintage handmade quilt. The quilt was too tattered to use as a quilt but too precious to throw out. This makes the cuff very comfortable and soft to wear.

On top of the quilt piece, I added a ivory on beige tapestry fabric accented with a snippet of a vintage lace monogram of an E (for Elegance?)..I then made a tattered, ruffled organza flowerette for the center of the cuff in a dark, rich chocolate brown. Over top of the I placed the most beautiful vintage enamel and rhinestone pin. I gently formed the pin to fit the curve of the wrist, I securely stitched the pin over the flowerette. (please note, the pin is vintage and was pre-loved and is missing one of the rhinestone centers).
Alongside the flowerette I've stitched vintage shell buttons.
Circling the whole cuff is a layer of beige chenille ruffle trim topped with a satiny spiral trim in cream.

3 silver metal snaps securely closes the cuff.

the cuff is 9.5" in length, fits a small wrist (mine is 6" (15cm) in diameter and this cuff fits a smidge loose on me)

Your cuff comes wrapped in tissue and boxed to avoid crushing the flower and pin.

Romantic and Decadent...

I wanted to use this lovely freshwater pearl in a stickpin and kept it aside in a special spot until I knew exactly how I wanted to set it....and it turned out exactly how I envisioned it.

this ring was made for Autumn days, the red, black, orange and brown colors in the jasper stone mimic the colors of the turning leaves.

I created this ring by hand in my studio, using sterling silver sheet metal and wire, the bezel surrounding the stone is created from fine silver.

I've oxidized the sterling silver and rubbed back the finish, the ring looks like the well-loved favorite ring that it will soon become.
