Woodworking Handmade hand-crafted Child's toy Dump Truck. Handmade from Walnut, Cherry, Poplar, Maple and Oak. There are NO nails used in the Dump Truck it is put together with wood glue and dowels. The Dump Truck has been left in its Natural Wood grain, no finish has been used, so Toy is ready for safe play/

The Dump Truck is age appropriate for children from four to NINTY Four. This is a timeless toy and enjoyed by children and adults.

The Overall Hardwood Dump Truck is 14" Long, 4 1/2" Wide, and 6 1/2" tall.
The Running board from behind door frame to over the front wheel is 7" Long and 3/4" wide.
The Driver Seat is 3" long and the back of the seat is 1" high.
The Bed of the Dump Truck is 6" long with 3" high sides which are scored approx 1" apart down either side.

The swing gate on the end is 3 1/4" long and 2" high and this swing open all the way, it is tight now but with play will loosen.
the front of the Dump Truck is detailed with headlights, front bumper with two parking lights, and the sides by the the motor have been scored length wise.

Vintage Brass Elephant and SwordFish.

These came from a Vintage Necklace from the late 70's and before 1984. ( this was mine and I broke it.! Necklace was worn one ( 1) time.

I honestly do not know if the Elephant and SwordFish are Brass or Copper. I am no expert on Jewelry and am selling these with as honest a description I can give based on my limited knowledge.

The Elephant is two sided (he is puffy in the middle,) and has a center hole in the middle of his back for beading. He is approx. 1" long his trunk is in the up position. He is beginning to get a Patina.

The Swordfish is not the copper color that the camera made it look, it is a light gold. The SwordFish is stamped on both sides and has a loop tab on top of the head for beading.

Woodworking Handmade hand-crafted Child's toy Train Engine. Handmade from Walnut, Oak, Maple and Birch. There are NO nails used in the Train Engine it is put together with Water-based wood glue and dowels. The Train Engine has been left in its Natural Wood grain, no finish has been used, so Toy is ready for safe play. Wooden Toys become prettier over the years as they age from natural oils from children handling and playing with them

The Train Engine Truck is age appropriate for children from four to NINTY Four. This is a timeless toy and enjoyed by children and adults.

The Overall Hardwood Train Engine is 12" Long, 7" Wide, and 9" tall. The Big Wheel is 5" in diameter, with the Engineer's Cab being 5" High and 3 1/8" Wide. A good place for a toy to ride, Beanie Baby or Engineer Bear. The Pistons from the Big Wheel to the front of Engine are 6" long. The Smoke Stack is 4" Tall with other adornments being 2" and 1". There are 4 front wheels which are 1" in Diameter. Please as any questions you need for further details.

The all Hardwood helicopter has a 7" body made of Walnut, is 4 1/2" High and 2 1/2" wide. The little pilot is approx 2" and he is Birch as is the round disc and caps. The rotor blades on top and tail and landing gear are made from Oak. The rotor blade on top and back will rotate (spin).

Woodworking Handmade hand-crafted Child's toy 1930 Roadster. Handmade from Walnut, Cherry, Poplar, and Oak. There are NO nails used in the 1930 Roadster it is put together with wood glue and dowels. The 1930 Roadster has been left in its Natural Wood grain, no finish has been used, so Toy is ready for safe play. The more the toy is hand rubbed (played with the wood gets prettier)

This 1930 Roadster is age appropriate for children from FOUR to NINTY Four. a Wonderful Timeless toy and enjoyed by children and adults.

The Overall Hardwood Roadster is 10 1/2" Long, 4 1/2" Wide, and 6 1/2" tall.

The Running board and Wheel Covers are one piece and from front wheel to back wheel is 9 1/4" long and 3/4" wide. there are little boxes for tools and accessories on each running board these are 1" x 3/4".

The front seat is 1 3/4" long. 1" wide with the back and sides being 1 1/2" high.

Woodworking Handmade hand-crafted Child's toy 54" Train consisting of the Engine, Tender Car, Passenger Car and Caboose.The train is made of Pine wood and has hardwood moving wheels. There are NO nails used in the Train and it hooks together with dowel pins. The Train has has been left in its Natural Wood grain, no finish has been used, so Toy is ready for safe play/

The Train is age appropriate for children from four to NINTY Four. This is a timeless toy and enjoyed by children and adults.

The Overall Length of the train is 54".

The Engine is 17" Long 5" Wide and 10 3/4" High

The Tender Car is 10" Long 3 5/8" wide and 5 1/2" High

The Passenger Car is 8" High 17 1/2" long and 4" wide

Vintage Quilt Christmas Stocking

Description:

I have used a section of a Vintage hand-made quilt one of my Finds. I then hand cut the quilt in the shape of a Stocking from my own hand-made pattern. Using this section for the front of the Stocking I then did hand stitching with embroidery thread in different colors and used the turkey trot stitch. For the back I used a Scrap of Material left over from Child's pinafore. Using this for the back I then hand stitched the front and back together using very small stitches. I added an old bell shaped bell that I found in my sewing box and put that on the toe.

the stocking is approx 15" from top to heel. The length from top to top of toe is 17". the foot of the stocking is 11". The opening at the top is 8", and the middle of the stocking is 7" The depth across the toe is 5"

Please note, I have done a whip stitch on one place where the material was coming loose. There is one place where I left the material stay loose and you can see the stuffing, and one place on the outside is loose on purpose it was that way and left it.

I have a 1 1/2" by 1/2" hang tag on the stocking for handing.

The quilt top was hand washed before using and the spots you see are age and use stains. Some of the material is probably from an old dress or shirt and the off white looks like flour sack material.

This is a wonderful re-created item from a loved and well worn vintage quilt.
