I love making these pendants. I call them Fairground Attraction because they remind me of those huge ferris wheels with the lights around the outside!

Now you can create your own with this brand new tutorial, where I will guide you through the process of creating a pendant row by row. With large colour photographs this tutorial is suitable for beginners.

You will need a 4mm firepolish bead and small amounts of size 15/0, 11/0 and 8/0 Japanese seed beads, 4mm cubes and 3.4mm Miyuki drops. They are great for using up all those odd beads that you have left over from other projects as you only need small amounts for each row. You will also need a beading needle and nylon beading thread such as C-Lon.

The finished size is 1¾"/4.5cm in diameter. You can hang the pendant in many ways, so I don't include instructions for finishing. They look great on suede or leather thonging, or on a string of seed beads. The choice is yours!

A beautiful circular pendant woven from Japanese seed beads, cubes and raindrops in oceanic shades of blue and silver.

The necklace is strung seed beads intermingled with glass cubes. It measures approx 18" long with a sterling silver hook & ring clasp. The pendant measures 1¾" wide.

A beautiful 2-in-1 necklace in black and gold. I've handmade the stellar goddess using black polymer clay along with gold glitter and beaded around her with Japanese seed beads. On the back I've handstitched a piece of faux suede, making it very comfortable to wear.

The rope necklace is woven from the same black and gold beads and can be worn on it's own as the pendant is removable.

With it's beaded toggle clasp it measures approx 19" long, with the pendant measuring 1½" wide and 2" long including the bail. There is no metal at all in this necklace, making it perfect for anyone with metal allergies.

This icy beauty has a Greek silver ceramic cabochon at it's heart, which I've beaded around using Czech seed beads. On the back I've handstitched a piece of faux suede, making it very comfortable to wear.

The asymmetric necklace is made from two strands of seed beads joined at intervals with handmade beaded beads and larger glass beads and crystals.

With a sterling silver hook and chain clasp it measures approx 19" long with an extra 1" extension chain. The pendant measures 1¼ wide and is 3" long including the fringe.

I've woven these beaded beads from dozens of tiny Japanese seed beads and they are the most gorgeous shade of deep red! I've added tiny sterling silver beads top and bottom and they measure just over 3cm/1¼" long from the top of the earwire. The beads themselves are approx 14mm/½" in diameter.

For these gorgeous earrings I've used Czech glass faceted beads with a special quality. From one angle they look clear, from another they seem to glow in a deep shade of topaz. The beads also have a fabulous verdigris coating on the top and bottom, adding to the vintage look. I've combined them with Golden Shadow Swarovski crystals and used gold plated findings. They measure a little under 1½" long from the top of the earwire.

In this tutorial I will show you how to make one of these beautiful flower pendants, which uses a combination of bead embroidery and bead weaving with seed beads and a small cabochon or button.

Complete with colour step-by-step photographs, this tutorial is suitable for beginners and experienced beaders alike.
