Small, vintage wooden souvenir from Australia in the shape of Australia! Carved out circle in the middle for your coins and such. Cute little metal kangaroo accent to the side. The collectile little tray does show its age with scuffs, scratches and some dulling where the glaze has worn off. Nicks along the edges here and there. Australia sticker label on the back is mostly gone and there are striations on the wood overall. Tarnish on the metal. Great piece of memorabilia though! Measures just under 6 inches by 4.75 inches by 0.5 inches.

This cute little vintage metal clothes mangle wringer or washing press is an unusual find! Marked underneath Made in England as well as the numbers 756169. Measures just under 3 inches tall, about 2.25 inches wide (including the handle extension on the wheel) and about an inch at its deepest. It has no moving parts. Gray metal is clean with some patina and a small area of discoloration on the base of one side. There is a slightly sharp point on the edge of the wheel so unless it is ground down a little, this would be a suitable toy for an adult only! Fun to display in your dress shop or add to your collection of miniature vintage appliances or all things small.

Wonderful old wall sconce for a single candle. Made of metal and painted a matte green, the back of the sconce is shaped like a leafy fern. L shaped arm bracket attaches to a floral shaped candle holder. Convenient hole near the top for easy handing on a small nail.

Leaf portion measures about 11.5 inches tall and about 2.25 inches wide. Arm and holder extends from the wall about 4.5 inches. Opening for tapered candle measures about 0.875 inches in diameter.

Some paint loss, scratches and tarnish, especially at the L groove, arm and petal tips. Overall condition is still good.

This is a great accent piece, especially if you have a home filled with vintage foliage and botany prints. Just enough flourish without being excessive.

Vintage Carved Marble White Onyx Cockatoo Cockatiel on Stand

Adorable little bird perched on a trapezoid stand. Amazing detail with the tail feathers, head comb and curved beak, complete with a hole where the curve is to stick a tiny posie through. Cute little black eyes and black beak.

Made of an alabaster or marble type of material, it is white with veins of gray. If you look closely, there are surface scratches as well as small chips here and there, most notably on one corner of the stand and also on both sides of its tail feathers. Still lovely, it is best appreciated if you ascribe to the wabi-sabi decorating aesthetic - the Japanese art of finding beauty in imperfection.

About 5 inches tall, almost 2 inches wide and 2.25 inches deep. Scratched onto the base are some letters and numbers plus the word Italy.

Heavy enough to be a paperweight, this friendly little bird is also happy to just perch on your desk and keep you company while you pursue your creative endeavors.

Vintage 1980s porcelain Villeroy and Boch Design Naif small candy box. The round lid is decorated with a whimsical country village scene. The foreground features a girl and a boy facing each other as though in animated conversation. The background scenery is of green open fields with trees, shrubbery, a couple of white sheep and village houses and buildings, one with a steeple topped with a rooster weathervane; several birds are flying across the blue sky. Circular dark brown bands frame the scene.

This design was done by noted French artist Gerard Laplau - you can see the name Laplau on the bottom right area where the wildflowers are. The Design Naif line originated in the early 1980s and some of the earlier patterns are still available today.

Made of high quality porcelain, this little covered trinket dish measures just over an inch tall. The diameter of opening is just under 3 inches across rim to rim. Condition is good with no chips or cracks and just minimal use wear. Beautiful vintage Wedgwood Etruria Barlaston blue and eggshell white plate by Wedgwood. Depicts the arched Gateway to the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. Measures about 10.5 inches in diameter with a reeded rim bordered with a laurel leaf pattern. There are a few pin-sized dark dots on the plate, some light rubbing around the exterior rim and small, thin scratches in a couple of areas plus a glaze pop on the back. Overall in good condition with no chips or cracks, and just minor age wear - this is likely from the mid 1940s – 1950s. A simply lovely plate.

Marked on the back The Gateway – College of Notre Dame of Maryland – Baltimore with the Wedgwood of Etruria and Barlaston logo as well as the logo of the Jones McDuffee Stratton company. There is also a small green number 5 on the back. Made in England.

Another nice selection of Danish modern style spoons. Sleek and simple with dark brown wooden handles, which have a canoe shape when viewed from the side.

Selection contains one place or soup spoon and two teaspoons. Larger spoon measures just over 7.25 inches long. Teaspoons measure about 6.5 inches long. Marked on the back of the spoons Interpur Stainless Steel Japan.

There are scratches and use wear visible on the metal and wood. There is a tiny nick on the edge of the wood on one of the teaspoons (see picture). Overall in nice condition. Handwashing recommended.

Coffee is savored around the world! Fab vintage mug decorated with the word coffee in English as well as various foreign languages. Also illustrated with a hat, a mug and a small sprig of probably the coffee plant.

Stoneware mug is in a putty gray with dark brown lettering. Rim and handle are a mix of the brown and gray. Stands about 3.5 inches tall. Opening is about 3.25 inches in diameter. Light use wear, no chips or cracks, a few tiny pinpricks and bites in the glaze, short scratches on the exterior center of the base. Some uneven coloring under the word Kaffee (below the hat) but since it’s under the glaze, likely something from when it was first being made. Minimal paint loss. Overall in nice shape.

Great addition to the coffee lover’s (and linguist’s) collection!

Fabulous collection of sleek mid century modern spoons. Stainless steel with wonderful scroll accents at the mid handle. The dark brown wooden handles – possibly rosewood – have a canoe shape when viewed from the side.

Selection contains one place or soup spoon and three iced tea spoons. All measure about 7.5 inches long. Marked on the back of the spoons Ekco Eterna La Joya Stainless Steel Korea.

There are scratches and use wear visible on the metal and wood but these are still in nice shape, especially the wood. The wear and color of the wood is slightly uneven but you can tell that these were taken care of and washed mostly by hand and not thrown in the dishwasher!

Vintage Clown and Balloons Photo Picture Frame

Adorable vintage photo frame decorated with a clown and balloons. The frame is a rather heavy metal painted (enameled?) with pale yellow as the main color with red, blue and a darker yellow accent colors. Outlines of the frame, clown and balloons are done in a gold tone. Measures about 5 inches by 6.5 inches. Opening for photo is about 3 inches by 4.5 inches.

In good vintage condition but do note some paint loss along the exterior gold tone trim and some minor scuffs and scratches. (See photos.) The backing and stand is made of a thick hard cardboard with a faux wood veneer on the exterior. The glass is intact and its top corners have been slightly angled to fit the curve of the opening for the picture. A very sweet item for a child’s room or for someone who collects clowns.

Super cool modernist Art Deco style aluminum tray by Kensington. It measures just under 10.75 inches across. Streamlined square shape with nice rounded corners. Etched in the center is a locomotive train on the tracks done in a very simple yet sleek geometric style. There are no dents – however as you can see from the photos, there are some scuffs on the back and light scratching from use. Some rubbing can be felt along the curved edges of the tray with one rough spot. Overall though, the tray is in good condition. Fun for display and a great tray to use when serving cocktails or other beverages. Marked on the back Kensington with its logo of a K in a shield.

The artwork is representative of one of the many colorful chromolithographed canned food labels from the H. K. and F. B. Thurber & Co. (Circa 1875 – 1884).

Thick hardbacked placemat measures about 16 inches by 11.25 inches. Back is lined with a thin layer of cork. Bold, bright design makes this placemat a great decorative piece on your mantel or shelf. The colors are rich and vivid!

Fun and kitschy pair of wooden mushrooms each with a shy wood mouse perched on its stem. Each mushroom is painted with white spots on the caps and green grass around the base. Each shy, little wooden mouse has a pair of black bead eyes, red stiffened fabric ears and a red plastic tail. One mouse also has some white paint on the tip of its nose. Single sawtooth hanger on the back of each mushroom.

Some scratches on the wood. One mushroom has a nick on the front center of its cap and also a spot of white paint near the edge. Each mushroom measures about 6.25 inches wide, 5.5 inches tall, 0.75 inches deep. Generally in good condition. Sweet and retro at the same time!

Mixed lot of 6 metal drawer knobs. Three round ones have a central flower design, the other round ones have a notched and beaded style and the oval shaped one has curved lines. Color tones range from brassy gold to bronze.

Light use wear on all except for one of the big floral ones which does have a bit more tarnish but could be painted white for more of a shabby chic look. The smaller notched one have a few flecks of tarnish on the face.

The 2 larger round flower knobs are just over 1.5 inches in diameter, 5 / 8 inch screw stem.

Vintage tape dispenser from the 1940s. Made of iron and painted green. Striped design gives it a streamlined Art Deco flair. Still has the old spool of tape it came with.

Dispenser measures about 9 inches long, 3.5 inches wide, 3.5 inches to its highest point. Tape spool is 2 and 7 / 8 inches in diameter. Faded markings on the back of the dispenser look like it may read Scotch Cellophane Tape.

Over sixty years old, this item shows its age. There is tarnish on the metal, paint loss, scratches, spots of white paint and other blemishes. The four brown plastic feet are intact but flattened and crackling. Round metal spool insert is dented in places. Tape is old and yellowed. Metal teeth are a little rusty. Dispenser is extremely heavy. It weighs more than 5 pounds.

Great as a display item in your industrial home office or modernist converted warehouse condo.

1950s Ruler College Campus Flower Shop Northampton MA

Here is a bit of history from Northampton, Massachusetts, a vintage metal ruler from the 1950s. 68 Green Street used to be home to the College Campus Flower Shop where Ernest R. St. Marie was the proprietor. Located across from the campus of Smith College, this location is now a café. Check out the shop’s telephone number then – just 3 digits.

Made in the U.S.A., this thin, curved metal ruler has a 16 month calendar printed on it from September 1952 to December 1953. Ruler measurements are marked in both inches and centimeters. It will measure up to 12 inches or 30.5 cm. Bold letters proclaim Flowers for All Occasions along with address and phone umber. Central design is of open gates. The words College Campus Flower Shop and the proprietor’s name complete the design.

Cream colored background with green letters, numbers and design. Slight tarnish and scratches along with a few old pink spots likely from past ink. Wear spot around the hole that one could hang the ruler from when not in use. Slight warp around the 6 inch mark.

Great vintage souvenir for collectors of Smith College or advertising memorabilia, history buffs of Northampton, Massachusetts, even genealogists and ancestry searchers.

Mid Century Modern Heller Massimo Vignelli Soup or Salad Service for 5 - White Bowls

Spectacular modern set of five stacking melamine individual salad or cereal bowls and a large serving bowl. Marked on the bottom of four of the small bowls Heller Design by Massimo Vignelli and on one of them, just the word Heller. Marked on the bottom of the large serving bowl Heller Designed by Massimo Vignelli.

Straight sides, small lip at the base for easy stacking and storing. The five smaller bowls can even be stored though not stacked inside the larger bowl to take up even less space. Retro and modern, this set would be fit right into even a contemporary home of today.

Condition is good with some slight use wear visible – mostly around the base rims.
Soup bowls measure about 5 inches in diameter and just under 2.5 inches tall.
Large serving bowl measures just under 10 inches in diameter and 4.5 inches tall.

This design won an award when it first came out in the 1960s in Italy. It was available in various colors when it was introduced to the U.S. later. This timeless design is still available today – but in a narrower selection of plates, cups and bowls. My guess is that this set is from an earlier era – the clue being that the huge serving bowl is not available at retail today – and these pieces were acquired together.

Retro Cocktail Glass for the Vintage Movie Buff

If you know a vintage movie buff and wonder what to get for him or her, this awesome vintage drinking glass might just be the ticket – could not resist throwing that in.

Done in brown and tan tones simulating sepia, the design is like a film reel circling the glass. Slim panels on the front of the glass features drawings of a lady in a flapper outfit, and portly man in a tuxedo with a cigar and a panel which says Roaring Twenties. Panels in between are open frames with names of actors of the era underneath – Tom Mix, Buster Keaton, Lionel Barrymore. Look through the open panels and see pictures of other actors, on the inside backs of the front panel drawings, with the films titles of the 1920s – Don Juan 1926, The Gold Rush 1925 and The Mark of Zorro 1920.

Glass measures about 3.5 inches tall, diameter about 3.25 inches rim to rim. Brown and tan colors are good, there is wear and color loss on the gold tone rim however. A few tiny bubbles, scratches and veins on the weighted bottom. Otherwise in nice shape. Circa 1970s.

Vintage White Leaf Dish with Gold Flowers and Vines

Elegant white dish shaped like a leaf. Scalloped leafy edges, raised leaf central veins, it even has one edge curling in slightly. Looped handle. Gold tone trimmed edged as well as gold tone central design on each leaf section of flowers surrounded by leaf vines or wreathes.

Measures about 7.5 inches by 6.5 inches. Stands around 1.75 inches tall or 2 inches tall if you include the handle.

There are a few pinprick sized holes and black specks on the front and back of the dish. Light gold paint loss and scratches. There is a small chip on the back of the footed base on the inside edge. Also around the base is an area where the ceramic was not smoothed completely before glazing and so a couple of stray bits of material jut out a little. Otherwise, there is no crazing or cracks and generally, dish is in nice shape.

A lovely piece for the traditional home.

Vintage Kitty Cucumber music box from Schmid. Winds from the bottom and plays We Wish You a Merry Christmas. Bisque figural winter scene features daddy cat lifting daughter cat up so she can reach the mailbox to send a letter to Santa. Simply. Adorable.

Total height approximately 5.25 inches. Almost 4 inches wide. There are 3 Schmid and Kitty Cucumber labels on the bottom which are almost hidden under the plastic winder. One of them has the copyright mark of 1985.

No chips or cracks. Minimal use wear. Tiny fleck of green paint on the tip of Papa Cat’s yellow ear. Previous owner took care not to overwind it and the music plays nicely. Sweet addition to your collection of musical boxes or Kitty Cucumber items.

Vintage Mid Century Modern Atomic Glass Bottle

This is an amazing mod shaped vintage bottle. Made of clear glass with decorative white markings which flare out from the tapered “waist” of the bottle. Ivory cream colored plastic screw on lid makes it easy to fill. The gold tone cap which screws on and off as well makes the bottle easy to pour from. It reminds me of the Space Needle in a way and looks like it would have been something found in George and Jane Jetson’s space age home!

Measures just under 10 inches tall, about 11 inches including the top of the screw cap. Diameter of the opening is about 2 and 5/8 inches. Good condition, no chips or cracks, light use wear on the bottle, minimal paint loss, scratches and clouding. Gold tone on the cap has worn off a bit. Slight discoloration on the cream cover. There are 2 clear plastic washer type inserts which fit underneath the ivory cap.

Base has a notch designed into it and is embossed with the words - Federal Law Forbids Sale or Re-Use of This Bottle. It was a required placement on all American whiskey bottles after the end of prohibition (meant to discourage bootleggers) and lasted until 1964.

Interesting vintage wine bottle. Round flask style with seamed edges. Clear, green glass with several bubbles, large and small, within the glass. Raised veins and crackle look on the front and back. Slight indent on one side of the bottle.

Measures almost 10 inches tall, 6 inches across. Bottle neck is about 3.75 inches long. Embossed on one side Brev. Bolla. Since it is rounded with no base per se, bottle is best displayed on one of the flat sides.

A few scratches and light use wear. Condition is good with no chips or cracks. Pretty cool to catch the light through it, bubbles and all!

Ride ‘em Cowboy - fun vintage bent glass souvenir dish from Houston, Texas. Square glass dish looks black but is actually a very dark transparent smoke brown. Decorated in gold tone with drawings symbolic of Texas then and even now – a steer’s head, cowboy riding a bronco, a boot with spur, branding iron with the word Houston on it and a ten gallon Texan hat, bordered along the sides with a rope motif.

Dish measures about 3.75 inches by 3.75 inches. Minimal paint loss, a few scratches, tiny nick on the underside edge of near the corner where the word Houston is, and a rough spot on the underside of the corner where the branding iron’s handle is. Overall in nice condition.

A fun décor item for the cowboy in your life or add a small slice of vintage Texas to your western homestead.

Fun vintage serving bowl decorated with blue and white flowers with olive green leaves around the interior. A thin turquoise blue band circles the rim. Putty gray stoneware bowl measures about 9.25 inches in diameter rim to rim. Stands about 2.75 inches tall. Marked on the bottom Mikasa Cera-stone Gigi D1575 Oven to table to Dishwasher Japan.

Clean with a few utensil marks and scratches. One tiny nick and a pinpoint sized hole on the rim. Otherwise in nice shape. Colors are good. A few of the outlines on the flowers and leaves are open ended but it looks like they were intended to be that way versus color loss. All in all, it is a cheerful and pretty serving bowl!

Most adorable vintage set of 4 holiday figurines. Two boys, two girls. One little boy is ringing a bell, the other little boy is carrying a Christmas tree. One little girl is holding a lamp while the other is carrying a wreath. Each one of them is accompanied by a little dog. Arrange them all in a row on your mantle this holiday season. Made of a ceramic of sorts, their colors are still bright and cheerful. Semi-hollow – each has a hole on the bottom. Set of 6 vintage coasters featuring Santa Claus and 2 children. Santa is looking at a sheet of music while each warmly dressed child is playing a bugle. One also holds a sprig of holly while the other holds a toy pixie doll.

Each coaster is about 4 inches square with rounded corners and cork backing. Coasters show light use but the colors and pictures are still vivid. One or two of the stickers on the backs may be loose. Box container shows the most wear – it protected the coasters well - one corner of the top cover is torn, general spots and scratches, inside top cover has a small ring left from a cup of beverage.

Made in England by Pimpernel. Nice to have on hand for small Christmas holiday gatherings.

Old Curiosity Shop Tab Handle Serving Platter Cake Plate Possibly Royal China

Vintage green and white cake plate or serving platter decorated with a winter street scene of children playing and people going about their day in front of The Old Curiosity Shop. Unmarked on the back but this pattern is generally attributed to Royal China of Sebring, Ohio circa 1950s.

Measures almost 10.75 inches in diameter – including the tab handles it measures almost 11.75 inches in diameter. Light rubbing around the edges and base. On the back there are a couple of pits and manufacturer’s straw marks plus a 1.5 inch hairline scratch in the middle. On the front, light use wear is visible when viewed at an angle. Otherwise pattern is still vivid, color is good, plate is still great for use or display and a fun item for the Charles Dickens fan as well.

Vintage Wall Plaque Children at Play Painted Scene

The cutest little children and small dog are painted on this oval decorative wall plaque. The kids are dressed in colonial era clothes. Two of the little boys are wearing tricorn hats – one is playing a drum, another carrying a toy rifle. The little girl is carrying the U.S. flag, another little boy is following along on a scooter. Their brown dog is scampering beside them in the garden while the sun shines in the background. Initials LDG are found near the base of the scene. There is a metal hanger at the top to hang the picture with. The back of the plaque is lined with paper decorated with scenes of pirates, taverns and a ship plus the words “15 men on a dead man’s chest yo ho ho and a bottle of rum…”

This sweet picture does show its age with some scuffing, scratches, nicks and wear overall. Paper on the back is peeling at the edges, rippling a little and has some discoloration and foxing. Some unevenness in the creamy yellow background on the front. Imperfect but totally charming and a happy addition to your home or a child’s room. Measures about 12.25 inches wide and just over 11 inches to the top of the metal hanger.

Vintage Rocking Cradle Music Box Mother and Baby

Super sweet vintage music box from the 1970s. Wind it up and it plays Rock-a-Bye-Baby and the coolest thing about it – it rocks! There is a little plastic mechanism on the bottom which extends and retracts as the music plays and moves the music box from side to side which makes it look like the mother is rocking the cradle. The rocking movement is a little bit choppy but it just makes you smile!

Made of ceramic, both mother and baby are blond. The cradle has a red heart on the front partially hidden by the baby’s bedding. The faded felt base on the bottom covers the opening which houses the musical and mechanical mechanisms. It has peeled off a bit on one edge. Paper label on the felt says Japan and handwritten on the felt are the letters Dec and the number 75. No. 121 and 75 are also inscribed onto the ceramic at the bottom edges.

Color is good - pastels are done so subtly it is hard to tell if they are faded or not. However, Mom’s red lipstick and make up colors are still vivid. There are a few nicks and chips notably under the heart on the front and on a back corner of the cradle. Also a couple of pinhead sized divots and holes. Very faint hairline scratch/crack on the back of the mother’s skirt from about halfway down to the base. Measures about 5 inches wide, 4 inches deep and just under 6.5 inches high. A sweet vintage treasure!

Lovely white tin container decorated with clusters of flowers in vibrant shades of orange, yellow, peach, blue, indigo, brown, and green, with outlines in gold and black. Raised lettering on the base notes Designed by Daher – Long Island – N.Y. 11101 – Container Made in England.

Measures about 5.25 inches tall, 6 inches including the round knob on the lid. Opening diameter just under 5 inches across. Age related tarnish around the base rim as well as on the gold tone interior. Raised pitting area on small spot of the underside of the lid. The base as well as the underside of the lid have a striped pattern – probably inherent in the metal used. A couple of mini dents visible on the inside. Light use wear on the knob. Still totally charming and great for storing notions, tea, candy and what-nots.

Open sugar bowl measures 4 inches in diameter and just over 2.25 inches tall. Creamer pitcher with convenient hook handle measures about 4 inches in diameter, about 5 inches across including the pour spout and handle, just over 2.25 inches tall. They stack nicely for space saving storage – always a plus! Both marked on the bottom Corelle Livingware by Corning. Made in U.S.A.

Condition is good, no chips or cracks, clean and shiny. Very light use wear and a small gray scratch above floral band of sugar bowl – that’s about it!

Hoot! This wise green owl takes his job earnestly! Whether you task him to hold your toothpicks, wooden matchsticks or even a few of your cotton tips, he’ll watch over them well and look seriously cute in the process.

Measures about 3.75 inches tall, about 3.25 inches wide and 1.5 inches deep. Opening diameter of the green and grey pot he’s guarding is about 0.75 inches. The pot is about 1.5 inches high.

Made of ceramic, this little guy is in good condition, with no chips or cracks. Some light use wear. Interior of pot has some white areas where the color glaze did not cover. Marked Japan on the back.

Vintage souvenirs are pretty cool. This one is from Los Angeles, California. Made by Treasure Craft U.S.A., copyrighted in 1969 as marked on the back. Pineapple shape ceramic – criss cross markings on the brown exterior and various shades of green on the inside of the dish. Fun little dish to have around to hold your small items. Measures about 8.25 inches at its longest and about 4.25 inches at its widest. Very tiny nick on one edge and some light wear – otherwise in nice shape.

Wonderful Florida souvenir bamboo tray. Central illustration of Silver Springs sign and on the bottom of that is says Home of World Famous Glass Bottom Boats. Surrounding illustrations feature attractions and things to do in those days before Disney World captured their market share - Deer Ranch, Glass Bottom Boat, Ross Allen Reptile Institute, Jungle Cruise.

The nostalgic artwork just exudes happiness and a simpler time – a smiling little girl holding a ball toward a fawn, a grinning little boy sitting on a huge tortoise, alligators and snakes and fish, oh my!

Marked © Carrib Novelty Inc. on one lower edge of the design and Anton Loeb (slightly faded) on the other edge. Labeled on the back – This tray is handwoven of genuine bamboo, color fast, heat and water proof, unbreakable. Made in Taiwan, Republic of China.

13 inches in diameter rim to rim. Inset diameter about 10.75 inches. Tray stands about one inch high. Good condition overall with some use and age wear, scratches and scuff marks.

A great serving tray and a wonderful piece of old Florida memorabilia for display as well, and of course, for collectors of Anton Loeb items.

Vintage Sandersons English Breakfast Tea tin. Hinged lid. Marked Container Made in England just above the hinge area. Marked on the front and back Sandersons A Blend of the Finest Selected Teas. Round logo of a teapot with the word London above and year 1720 below. Silhouette of an old sailing ship on the front, back and lid. Left and right sides are marked Sandersons English Breakfast Tea 1 / 4 lb Net Weight, with smaller lettering on the scrolls India Burma W. Indies Ceylon China E. Indies.

Measures about 3 inches by 3 inches by 3.5 inches. Clean interior. Vintage condition with scratches, some tarnish and slight fading. Lid has lost its sheen compared to the sides of the tin. Container and lid have a few small dents.

Definitely a tin which adds some vintage character to your period home or kitchen.

Body of tin carries the birds theme with four steel-blue bordered panels decorated with a different bird. Sleek glass carafe or coffee server with black metal warming stand. Clear glass decorated with gold tone teardrops around the body. Marked near the black plastic handle David Douglas Flameproof with little gold color squares showing on one side the level for serving 4 cups, 6 cups and 8 cups. The other side of the squares have the corresponding amount in ounces, 22 oz., 33 oz. and 44 oz.

Gold and black striped metal band grip around the top portion attaches to the handle. Comes with a black plastic lid with a knob and is notched for pouring.

Glass carafe measures about 7.5 inches to its tallest point at the pour spout. Widest point near the base is about 6.25 inches in diameter, opening about 2.25 inches in diameter. Good condition with no chips or cracks. Light use wear. Minimal paint loss. A few scratches and water spots.

Vintage metal bread box. Opens from the front with a bottom hinged lid. Cover is decorated with retro kitchen illustrations. Teardrop shaped plastic knob turns to open or close the lid.

Putty green color has faded and worn out in a few areas, especially around the knob where you can see two distinct color shades. Some tarnish on the interior, especially on the interior back. Bread box has a few dents, scratches and areas of paint loss. Top also has a couple of paint spots. Edges show wear. Item has been cleaned but still looks its age with its weathered patina and yellowed kitchen splatter.

Measures about 14.5 inches by 10.75 inches and stands 10 inches tall. Vented on the back. Works well as retro storage container either in the kitchen or in your creative space.

Sweet vintage set of 3 nesting containers. At first glance they look as if they are made of wood intricately carved with bands of flowers. They are however made of a hard plastic – which makes cleaning them so much easier! All have lids lift off easily with the little knob handles and rest nicely but loosely in place on the indented lip of each container. These are not air-tight but would serve as great organizing containers for your smaller craft supplies or other items and they look great too!

Tallest one measures just over 6 inches tall with the lid, opening diameter is about 4 inches.
Medium one measures about inches tall with the lid, opening diameter is about 3 inches.
Smallest one measures about 4 inches tall with the lid, opening diameter about 2.25 inches.

Overall in good condition with a little wear. The smallest one has some rubbing and rough spots around the opening rim as well as a small nick near the lip. There is an uneven color area on the smallest one as well – visible in the photo showing the bottoms of the container.

This pretty vintage celery green divided dish by Lane and Co. of California is just perfect for alfresco dining! Its three compartments and convenient handle makes it so versatile and easy to use. Great for serving various dips and sauces at a party, wonderful for a small selection of bite sized veggies for a little tête-à-tête! Even makes a nice organizer for your notions and such.

Pleasing bowl design with curved ridged bands and a scalloped rim gives it sort of a leafy vegetable look. The green is speckled with bits of brown. Serving bowl section measures about 2 inches tall and 7.75 inches in diameter. Including the handle, the serving dish stands about 5 inches high.

Nice condition with no chips or cracks. There are a few pinhead sized “bites” on it, most noticeably one near the rim with a dark spot. Some tarnish and paint loss on the gold tone metal handle and screw base.

Fun vintage milk glass mug decorated on both sides with comic book characters Little Orphan Annie and her dog Sandy. One side has the words Leapin Lizards above Sandy. The other side has Arf! beside Sandy, and labeled next to Annie Little Orphan Annie copyright 1975 NY News Inc.

Main colors are orange, grey and black on the milk glass white mug. Marked on the bottom Heat Resistant Glasbake. Mug stands about 3.5 inches tall, 3.25 inches in diameter rim to rim. Comfortable handle. Characters are classic comic illustrations of Annie with curly hair, friendly faced Sandy and both with the familiar open eyes and no eyeballs.

Colors are good. There is one small nick on the rim of the mug almost directly opposite the handle. I have tried to show that in the photo where the inside of the mug is also shown. Other than that, mug is in nice shape.

Cute vintage Paddington Bear mug. Illustrated on both sides. One side of the mug features Paddington Bear in the familiar scene, sitting in the Left Luggage section of the baggage area. He is wearing a tag which says Please look after this bear. Thank you. On the other side is a scene of people going about their day at the Paddington Station. Underneath the rim of the cup are the words Mrs. Brown peered at it more closely. It seemed a very unusual kind of bear.

Hard to find vintage set of nylon serving utensils decorated with a pattern very similar to Corning’s Spice of Life pattern. Made by Ecko. The slotted spatula is about 12.25 inches long, the ladle is about 11.5 inches long, and the fork is about 11 inches long.

Color is an ivory. Some areas are slightly yellowing from age. Overall in good condition with some use wear around the edges of the ladle and spatula. Marked Ecko on the front of each one and Nylon Dishwasher Safe on the backs. I would recommend hand washing to keep the plastic coated decorative pattern insets on the handles from fading.

Four metal stamps – a butterfly (3 inches by 2.75 inches), a Christmas tree (2.5 inches by 2 inches), a card playing theme (3.25 inches by 3 inches) and a fluted mold (2.25 inches by 1.5 inches). Vintage Whippit cream and egg beater complete with crank handle, rotating gears and twirling beater. Super cool contraption from the early 1930s. It does show its 70 plus years of age – the green paint on the handle and crank lever is worn and discolored, plus there is old price sticker residue on the handle. The metal parts are tarnished and rusted in spots. However, it still works nicely – turn the lever handle and watch the appropriate parts spin merrily. Great as a display in your retro kitchen or take apart for your assemblage or steam punk creations.

1970s vintage glass liquor bottle from Walker’s. Rectangular body shape. Each panel decorated in raised lettering and numbers with an antique style license plate from a different state. States plates depicted are Michigan 1910, Oregon 1911, Kansas 1913 and New Mexico 1914. Glass knob with cork stopper with plastic washers.

Marked Walker’s Deluxe Bourbon Liquor Bottle 1974 on the base. Paper label around the neck marked Distilled by Hiram Walker and Sons, Inc. Peoria, Illinois – Walker’s Deluxe Bourbon – Straight Bourbon Whiskey 4 / 5 QT. 86 Proof. 8 years old.

Clear glass decanter measures about 11 inches to the top of the knob. Each panel measures about 6.25 inches by 3 inches.

You could have an orange phosphate drink long ago at the neighborhood drug store soda fountains. Here’s a little blast from that past – a vintage glass stein with the words “Orange Phosphate” on the front. Decorated with an arch of creamy pink roses and buds around the top of the words and a red rose on the bottom. Comfortable handle, weighted base, holds about 16 ounces (2 cups) nicely. About 3.5 inches in diameter and 6 inches tall. No chips or cracks, there is light pitting and scratches, a couple of blackish marks on the back (visible in main photo), slight fading on about 4 of the black letters. Embossed on the bottom of the glass “England”. This fab and rare find is rather heavy and shipping reflects that weight.

Vintage metal serving tray decorated with illustrations that depict a simpler time. Pictures show glasses filled with soda, root beer float and ice cream sundae and cups of hot beverages – maybe coffee, tea and hot chocolate, plus a spoon of whipped cream. Above them are the words The Warm and Wonderful Beverage Company. Below them are the words Since 1891 The Best Drinks Sold Hot or Cold. Makes me think of how the old soda fountain shops must have been like way back when.

Tray is done in shades of green and brown with a bit of red. Measures about 14.75 inches by 10.75 inches. Marked in half faded lettering near the bottom edge with a copyright of 1979 Pentron Industries Inc. Tray does show its age with some fading in the colors, scratches and scuffs. Some tarnish on the back as well. Still a charming piece to add that touch of vintage or rustic charm to your kitchen or even your own soda or coffee shop!

Sweet and simple vintage wood caddy. One long compartment on one side and three smaller ones on the other. Previous owner used it to keep her small garden hand tools neat and organized and always ready to go.

Wooden box measures about 9 inches by 7.5 inches and stands just under 4.5 inches tall, including the handle, it stands just over 6.5 inches tall to the top. Decorated on the shorter sides with a painted border of yellow flowers in yellow pots.

Good condition with some scratches and nicks on the edges. I have cleaned it with a damp cloth but it still has some signs of residue from its past life lived as a garden tool caddy in the garage - I have tried to show that in the last 2 photos. Useful as a paintbrush and art supplies holder too.

The romance of old India with her Maharajahs and majestic elephants. This tin container captures the essence of that era. Done in shades reminiscent of the tropics – orange, yellow, brown, black and red. Scene features a black elephant decked out in grand tapestry and carrying a maharajah (or someone like that) along with a uniformed elephant guide wearing a turban. Palm trees line the path and there are mountains in the background. The hinged lid features a fretwork and floral design which reminds me of old buildings in the near East. Marked near the bottom on the back – Container Made in England.

Rectangular in shape with rounded ends. Some signs of age - scratches, discoloration and areas of rust inside the tin as well as along the edges of the lid and base. A few spots where there are little dents. Remains of old price sticker on the base. Measures about 6 inches by 3.25 inches across the top. About 5.25 inches tall. A simply glorious decorative piece and just great for little keepsakes.

Vintage pair of folk art spatterware candlesticks. Paper label on the bottom notes Museum of American Folk Art. Mottled blue central motif on light brown background. Top and bottom rims bordered by a shade of darker brown.

Height just under 4 inches tall. Diameter across the top about 2 inches, across the bottom about 3 and 3/8 inches. Opening diameter for candle is about 7/8 inches.

Good condition, no chips, some rubbing and darkening around the bottoms. Bits of old candle wax remain. No other markings other than the paper labels though the style is very similar to Pfaltzgraff’s America pattern which was produced up until 1989. Pretty set for your home!

Pretty hammered copper and raised relief picture of a deer (actually a young buck) standing in a stream and drinking water from it. Measures about 7.25 inches by 8.75 inches.

The sheet of copper is folded over a hard board backing. Good condition with some patina from age. There is an area on the buck’s body which has been pressed inward but it doesn’t detract from the peaceful, simple, reflective beauty of the piece. Lovingly hand made by someone long ago. Unframed, it will sit nicely on a mantel or shelf or propped up beside a favorite quiet time spot.

Vintage shabby chic silver plated bank. Shaped like a baby block, the three inch cube features the alphabets A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H. Also in raised designs – an apple, bear, cat, duck, elephant, fish, giraffe and horse.

Deep blue flocked base. Round closure has notches which would line up with the corresponding notches on the block to open and close the bank. Label on bottom states Silverplated Made in Hong Kong.

Suitably aged, tarnished and charming. Some scratches and there is wear on the flocked base. One corner of the interior where the E and cat side meets shows darkening from the melding process. No dents. Cute way to store your loose change!

Lovely vintage fashion print in a shadow box style frame. Features a lady seated in a chair dressed in ballroom finery. She’s holding a small glass of wine of sherry, perhaps. Next to her stands a dark haired gentleman dressed in a military style uniform. They look like they are taking a small break from waltzing the evening away!

Print is tinted mostly in pastel shades and black. Some yellowing on the print (circa 1930s) and paper border. In small lettering near the hemline of the lady’s skirt is © Stan David. Glass is intact and not cracked.

Wood frame is painted in black and antique gold and has wear and scratches on it from age. Cardboard backing on the back reads #400 Size 4” x 5” A Lambert Product Brooklyn, NY, St. Louis, MO. Small hole at the top back of the frame – perhaps for a small hanger or sorts.

Made of plastic, she has not been used as a tree topper – the cardboard bottom is still intact and uncut. She does show a little handling and age wear. Cardboard on the bottom has a small tear where a price label was at one time.

Vintage Native American doll made in U.S.A. from Carlson Dolls. She is a Pequot Princess and is dressed in a white fringed leather outfit decorated with colorful beads. She is carrying a sleeping baby in a papoose cradle on her back. Attached to her hands by tiny rubber bands – a bit brittle with age - are what look like timpani mallets for the kettledrums but are likely supposed to represent American Indian rattles.

She stands about 7.5 inches tall and comes with a heart shaped stand. Strap the elastic on the stand over her adorable moccasins and she will stand nicely without having to lean against a wall or backing. Her face, hands and baby are made of a dark brown plastic. She has orange-brown sleep eyes - they are open when she is standing and close when she is lying down.

Label attached to her tunic notes - A Collector’s item, not a toy. Handcrafted with the founders of America in mind to keep Americans aware of their heritage. Made in U.S.A. with pride. Pretty little ashtray from Wedgwood. Blue Jasperware background. The matte blue is decorated with white grapevine and leaves in raised relief form.

Incised markings on the back has worn down over the years and is barely visible but one can see the words Wedgwood and Made England faintly.

Some use wear – tiny pinprick sized bites on the back, slightly darker on center front of tray, small blemish spot near the rim. Clean, no chips or cracks. Just over 3.5 inches in diameter rim to rim. Central portion measures 2 inches in diameter.

Love that this old ashtray can be repurposed – use it to hold your paper clips, sewing pins or thumb tacks! Makes an elegant soap dish as well for the smaller sized soaps in the guest bathroom.

Sometimes a gal just needs a touch of frou frou in their lives and this pretty blue perfume bottle does just that. Standing at about 5 inches tall, uncorked, it would make a lovely small vase for your garden posies or herbs. With the stopper on, the bottle measures about 6 inches tall and would be at home on your vanity or bathroom.

Blue painted glass with gold tone trim accents, this bottle used to hold Avon’s Charisma perfume. Though now empty, the sweet lingering fragrance of its original contents remain. In good condition with some signs of age – mostly visible on the cork and the inside lip of the bottle where the stopper lid has come into contact with it over the years. No chips or cracks. A lovely piece from the past!

Vintage pair of Old Spice glass travel bottles from the mid 1970s with the compass rose plastic caps, red for the after shave lotion and ivory for the after shave talcum.

Measures about 3.75 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide, 1.25 inches deep. Directions for use on the back of both. Both marked Shulton Clifton N.J. Toronto. Net weight noted for the talc is 1 3/8 Oz, for the lotion 2 3/8 Fl. Oz. Marked with a number 17 on the base of the lotion bottle and a number 19 on the talcum bottle.

Good condition with no chips or cracks. There is vintage use wear. Talc bottle has 2 tiny black flecks near the neck. Both have residue and yellowing caused by contents around the screw neck and openings. Some remnants of the original contents may remain.

These would make great props or fun additions to any Old Spice or men’s cologne bottle collection.

Vintage Old Spice After Shave Talcum Bottle. Net wt. 3 Ozs. Ivory glass bottle. Metal cap with an octagonal plastic stopper which has a star design – commonly known as stopper number 4. Measures about 5.5 inches tall, 2 inches wide.

Marked on the back Shulton Inc. Clifton N.J. 07015 London Paris. Embossed on the bottom Old Spice, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.

Good condition with no chips or cracks. A few scratches on the bottle. Blue spot on the base. Appears to be half full. Circa 1970s.

This is such a classic bottle versus the ones today made of plastic. It would make a great prop or a nice addition to any Old Spice or men’s cologne bottle collection. The new bottles are now made of plastic.

1960s Remington 300 Selectro Shaver Electric Razor

Vintage Remington 300 Selectro Shaver in its original black plastic padded cover case. Dial a Cleaner Cleft was a slogan used to advertise it in a magazine ad from 1966.

You can set the dial to 4 levels, S1, S2, S3 or S4 and the cutters will rise to different levels to adjust to your beard. The Trim setting is apparently for straight sideburns. There is also a Clean setting where the trimmers rise even higher and you can then clean it with the little pipe cleaner or brush devices provided.

There is a plastic cover for the cutters - in nice shape - no cracks. The shaver is also padded on both sides where it would be held. It is turned on by a button on the bottom. The base of the shaver is marked 110-125V AC DC 10W .07 AMP Remington Model CV3 Made in USA Pat. Pend. The box has a compartment which opens up that houses the electric cord when it is not in use, along with the cleaning tools.

The box is a little bit scratched and the interior lining where the wording is does show some tanning. Where the shaver is normally housed, there was probably some other means of keeping it from just being loosely placed in there. This was the way I found it however. There is some light tarnish on the interior clasp of the box. Otherwise, everything seems pretty clean. The box is marked on the bottom Product of Remington Electric Shaver Patent Applied For.

The shaver is in good condition - I have plugged in the cord and everything runs. I did not test it though - no beard or stubble to try it on! I am selling this primarily as a prop, décor or collectible item for the collector of vintage shaving items.

Gorgeous vintage tray from Vienna Woods Design, made in England. Floral paisley pattern done in yellow with shades of brown and a hint of pale coral on white. Gold tone borders circle the rims and paisley pattern. Falling leaves pattern decorate the inside wall of the round tray.

Metal tray measures about 12.5 inches in diameter rim to rim, interior opening diameter about 10.75 inches. Tray is about 0.75 inches deep. Marked on the back Vienna Woods Design Made in England. Also marked in small letters on part of the rim Vienna Woods Made in England.

Overall condition is good though scratches, tarnish and yellowing visible on the back. When viewed at an angle, some paint loss and scratches can be seen on the front. Still a beautiful tray to use or display!

Beautiful vintage hammered aluminum letter or napkin holder. Embellished with the tulip or dogwood and ribbon design on each side, front and back. The ribbons flow down and become feet for the item. U shaped holder with softly serrated edges. Ribbon threads form four open oval cut outs on each side of the U. There is no hallmark on the item unless it is hidden under the green felted feet, but the style is very much like vintage Rodney Kent pieces.

Measures about 4.5 inches tall by 6 inches wide. U shaped opening is about 1.5 inches wide.

Good condition with a few small scratches. Some fading on the green felt bases attached by the previous owner. Lovely vintage piece to hold your letters, napkins or small cardstock.

Adorable vintage owl bottle. It used to hold the Roses, Roses cologne gelee perfume by Avon. Clear glass base makes up the owl’s body. The owl’s head makes up the plastic gold tone screw cap.

Vintage Art Deco Moderne Silver Tone Pair Candle Holders Metal

This vintage pair of metal candle holders would fit wonderfully in the art deco or mid century modern home. Overall silver tone. The metal stands are detailed with a beaded rope border on both sides of the arch, while the top facing side of the metal stands are done in a swirl finish that is very much like mother of pearl.

Measures about 4.75 inch, 2.25 inches deep at the base and 2.75 inches tall. The opening for the candle is about one inch in diameter. The circular bowl area is about 2.75 inches in diameter rim to rim.

There are signs of use wear and scratches especially on one of them where a previous owner had scratched the bowl as well as one of the legs in an attempt to clean it with an abrasive material. Some remnants of candle wax and tarnish on the interior of the holders.

Paper label on the bottom of each candle holder notes WMF-IKORA. Inscribed in very tiny lettering underneath the center portion WMF EP Brass Germany.

These vestiges of an era long past would work best in the home where the decorating style incorporates a little of the wabi-sabi aesthetic - the Japanese art of finding beauty in imperfection.

Single lotus or tulip bowl. Glazed white finish with ridged detailing on the exterior side of the petals. In a larger size that makes it wonderful for serving soup or cereal.

Measures about 6 inches across at the widest and about 2.75 inches tall. No chips or cracks. Light use wear. Some rubbing around the unglazed footed base. Tiny black fleck on one exterior petal.

Good condition and great for display or as a pretty way to hold your stash of candy or small craft notions.

Wonderful set of four modernist knives with wooden handles. Marked on the stainless portion near the handles Fleetwood Stainless – some clearer than others. Overall length of each is just under 8.5 inches. Some use wear and scratches visible. Wood handles have aged differently in terms of evenness of color. About 2.5 inches of serrated edge on each knife. Great addition to the modern kitchen.
