This is a 109 pg. glossy paperback book (plus resources at the back) for avid quilt makers. There are galleries of inspirational quilts from around the world and tutorials on how to achieve them, complete with copy-able templates. I am a seamstress, not a quilt maker, but I found this book very inspirational and understandable. It's also just simply beautiful.

This is used but in very good condition--like new--so it would make a great gift. It's originally priced at $24.95.

The shipping listed is Priority flat rate box. Priority flat rate envelope might work at $4.60 (less protection for the book), or I could weigh it and calculate media mail for your address. Let me know what you prefer!

Hollywood brand blouse patterns 1415: Size 18 (Bust 36", Hip 39")

This is undated. The pattern is the punched tissue style, all pieces and instructions included. The pattern appears to be unused. The envelope is good except a flap corner is torn off (see photo).

This blouse reminds me of "State of the Union" for some reason...maybe the drawings look like Katharine Hepburn??

Two vintage white carved 4-hole buttons in a four leaf pattern. These measure 1" and are square-ish.

Two pale yellow or buff 2-hole buttons with a geometric pattern. These measure 3/4".

Yes, you guessed it--I also hoard vintage mother of pearl buttons. It's time to release these back into the world--they would love to be on a hand knit sweater!

I've not seen this brand before. It's a punched tissue pattern, as far as I can tell it hasn't been cut. The tissue is in very good condition, all pieces and instructions included. The envelope has lost its flap, and the bottom is a little rough.

Vintage Shank Mother of Pearl Buttons

These are big mamas, not a matched set but they do coordinate. They are in the grey/pink/green color range, almost 1 1/2" in size. They have metal shanks, and they are very sturdy buttons. These probably came off of outerwear, and would be great as a featured button on a snuggly handmade sweater or on a coat.

Junior's size pjs: cute yoke style shorty top with bloomers, or with long pj pants. Printed pieces, all present with instructions. The pocket had a piece torn off, which I taped back on. There are some other minor tears, but no chunks missing. The envelope is in great condition.

McCall's 2465 Misses' mini dress (dated 1970): Size 8 (Bust 31.5", Waist 23", Hip 33.5")

Uncut printed pattern, "New two color guide" instructions (printed pink and black on white). Like new, all pieces included.

Simplicity 8098 Miss mini dress and jacket (dated 1969): Size (Bust 32.5", Waist 24", Hip 34.5")

Cut printed pattern, instructions included (2 color). All dress pieces are present, though the shorts--already mini--have been shortened. The jacket front and back are AWOL, sorry. But the skort mini dress is the best part.

Advance pattern, undated that I can find--but clearly a 1940's style. The pattern is punched, pre-cut tissue in good condition, instructions included. Size 17 (Bust 35", 28.5", Hip 38"), a very wearable size.

Plus, a BONUS sleeve pattern! Yeah, someone goofed, but I've included it anyway.

Crystal Shrug

This unusually shaped shrug is made of poly organza (crystal sheer to you fabric shoppers), which I normally steer clear of--but it's perfect for this garment. This was designed as part of a line of snow and ice inspired clothing.

The seams are fully enclosed (French seams), and the center front closure is two petite snaps (see third photo). The sleeves are shaped in a gentle curve, so when you're wearing the shrug there is a billowy fullness up the outside of your arms. The length is just below the bust. This was made for a small size, think commercial size 6-8. The underbust measures 29".

This is a large format pattern, dated 1950, for blouse and skirt. It is in great condition--looks like the pattern pieces were never unwrapped, and the envelope is great but for some little tears at the inside opening (see second photo).
