STRAITJACKET FOR A STRUMPET, Flamboyant Rock Queen Wrist Cum Ankle Cuff With Sapphires, Topaz And Steampunk Chains by SHEELA GOH

I've shown no such restrain in creating this luscious cuff.

Contemporary Striped Italian Dupioni Silk features a Venetian Satin Rose embellished with TONS of sparkly Glass Cubes and a delish trim of Faux Pearls upon Brass. Flirty ruffles to the left feature a blend of Velvet Chiffon Prints paired with Black Scalloped Lace.

Signature touches of rock queen chains adorn a king's ransom of gems namely Pink Topaz Bell Chandeliers, Labradorites, Mystic Pink Amethyst Briolettes, exquisite Pink Sapphires and utterly droolworthy Mystic Pink Amethyst Briolettes.

To left and right sides, more chains drape in a seemingly random fashion but WAIT, when viewed from the side, they form sexy structured loops [see bottom right image in Picture 3]. Gotcha!! Yet more chains cavort amidst a decadent frou frou hem of Black Lace to complete this opulent confection.

Equally luxe on the inside, this wristwrapper has been lined with new Taffeta. She measures 7" wide by 7.5" in height, and secures with hooks/eyes affixed to Grosgrain straitjacket-esque straps (hence the name) that are totally adjustable. Having said that, she best suits wrists measuring no smaller than 6", ensuring a comfy, snug fit.

Straps can be replaced with ribbon ties if you prefer :)

STRAITJACKET FOR A STRUMPET here is the second and the very last I've created. The first edition adorns the wrist of Rock Queen Courtney Love, will this one adorn yours?

Oh and she's seamless as clearly evidenced from the pictures, with the exception of selected portions that have been intentionally prettied-up with fancy stitches.

Demimonde was a 19th Century term that was often used to refer to women (Courtesans rather), who were commonplace fixtures in the upper class of French, English and, to some extent, American societies. The defining aspects of the Demimonde were an extravagant lifestyle of fine food and clothes, easily surpassing that of most other wealthy women of their day coupled with a seemingly eclectic mixture of sharp business acumen, social skills and hedonism.

Indeed, the aesthetic feast presented before you serves to satiate all cravings for visual ecstasy, tactile euphoria and the pure pleasure of prettying up.

Handpainted Peacock Feathers have been individually assembled, yes one by one by one then stitched, backed with opulent Bronze Black Dupioni Silk, and frilled with gathers of Black Laces. Three different types, to be precise, all Victorian.

Saucy drips of 14K Gold Filled Chains create gilded veils of debauchery amidst which swing gorgeous Rare Black Sapphire Briolettes. The climax? One singular Kenyan Pink Ruby Briolette measuring 30mm which has been further accented with a Genuine Clear Diamond. Size does matter.

At the top, a wired circlet of Rondelles holds things together in the company of Orange Sapphires, Green Onyx, Burmese Rubies, Brazilian Blue Apatite, Peruvian Rhodocrosite, Brazilian Carnelian and a shiny Gold Pyrite in the centre.

That oh so fab Lace Collar is divine. I dyed it a decadent shade of Cranberry and accented the top with a Victorian Steampunk Guimpere Guimp Double Loop Trim. A bit of provenance about said collar - I was told it was discovered during the auction of an estate belonging to a 90 year old lady who hoarded all her mother's trims and notions. Imagine how antique this could be.

Adjustable by way of Antique Black Satin Ribbons, that hedonistic middle bit of DEMIMONDE drops about 8.5".

One of the earliest femme fatales to have ever been recorded, Lucrezia Borgia was the daughter of Rodrigo Borgia, the powerful Renaissance Valencian who later became Pope Alexander VI.

Her family later came to epitomise the ruthless Machiavellian politics and sexual corruption alleged to be characteristic of the Renaissance Papacy. Lucrezia herself was cast as a femme fatale, a role she has been portrayed as, in numerous artworks, novels and films.

This Corset Top attempts to paint a Portrait Of Lucrezia Borgia; her beauty, her grace, her passion.

A Vintage Corset has been decadently adorned with Pleats of Hand-Dyed Open Weave Cotton in a sensual palette of Purple, Indigo and Azure. Gorgeous touches of tattered decadence come in the form of Salvaged Beaded Netting Appliques, lovingly applied on one side. These are remnants of an authentic Victorian Mourning Dress which I've treasured for a really long time.

Nearer towards the waistline cascades a divine Antique Beaded Jet Rhinestone Tassel - it's just too beautiful. An additional layer of Vintage Dior Lace with a scalloped hem creates a frou frou effect as Vintage Black Sequins with a leather look complete my Portrait Of Lucrezia Borgia.
