The Praecius table is based on precise design by strictly conforming to natural pattern. The set of concentric black and white squares conform to a 1.0 Fibonacci series found in so many things in nature like branches of a tree, petals of a flower and the spirals of galaxies. This natural balance is relaxing and pleasing to the eye.

Materials : Reclaimed and upcycled wood, composite materials, black, white and clear lacquer.

The form ratios and dimensions are unique to this piece.

Materials : Hand selected reclaimed and upcycled vertical grain American old growth fir wood. Black pigments sealed with multiple dry and polished lacquer clear coats. Handmade and finished with immaculate detail.

Construction: Handmade. The joints are double doweled and offset hidden double metal screwed and glued for strength. Very solid structure and crafting.

This is a special piece of folk art. This flag harkens back to a time when America was America. It calls to the present, as what was lost will be found again. It started with old growth wood timbers reclaimed from the remodel of an iconic 1950's Hollywood, CA coffee shop. Once part of the old walls, if these timbers could talk! I am sure the Rat Pack did plenty.

Inspired by the ever growing American reuse, recycle, repurpose and upcycling movement. We are the people.

For me, it also honors the great American old growth forests that no longer exist
