There is a Pima Indian legend that explains when a person is born into this world, they enter a maze of life. The entrance is at the top where Se-eh-ha (Elder Brother) is waiting to show the way. The legend tells of the dead ends, detours and obstacles. It's the struggle to understand what can affect the physical, emotional, and spiritual growth that can guide them through the maze. At each turn, there is an opportunity to understand and appreciate the cycle of life, and to gain strength to move toward their goals. If the path is traveled in harmony and with a balance with nature, the legend says that dreams and ambitions will be found at the center of the maze, where E-e-thoi (Sun God) waits. He then passes them on to the next world.

This is a smaller version of my full sized headdress that would be the perfect size for your christmas tree. Can also be hung in your car, in a window or wherever you may desire. Actual headdress is 2 1/2 inches wide and hangs about 2 1/2 inches from the ribbon including the feather charms. These are made of glass beads although some may contain a few acrylic beads, but over 90% are glass. Each one contains more then 160 beads.

I would be happy to make you up custom ones with your choice of colors and I do give volume discounts if you would like several of these although I may not be able to duplicate some exactly because some of my back beads I have a limited supply of. White Buffalo are considered to be sacred signs in several Native American religions, and thus have great spiritual importance in those cultures and are visited for prayer and other religious ceremonies.

Spiritually, the buffalo was a source of great strength to the plains tribes like the Cheyenne, Dakota, Lakota, Nakota, Arapaho, Crow, Plains Cree, Pawnee, Hidatsu, Mandan, Arikara, and Kiowa. For the Sioux Nation, the buffalo was known as Tatanka. Five centuries ago, a beautiful maiden dressed in white buckskin decorated with dark porcupine quills approached the Sans Arc band of the Sioux Nation carrying a bundle wrapped in buffalo skin. White Buffalo Calf Woman brought many important teachings and introduced the sacred pipe to the people. When she left, with a promise to return, she turned into a white buffalo and disappeared.

This beautiful cow hyde leather mandella is made on a 14 inch ring and Measures 32 inches long from hanger to bottom of wool.

Features black, cranberry and cream pony beads along with walnut, oak and natural wooden beads. Has Natural feathers along with 4 faux eagle feathers.

Hang it from your rearview mirror or hang it in your window and admire the beauty of the light shinning on the beads. Measures approx 3 inches across and hangs 5 inches from top of headdress to bottom of feathers. Contains more than 250 beads with 90% or more of them being glass. May contain a few acrylic beads.

This Iron on Patch measures 3.5 inches in diameter and is machine embroidered on heavy stabilizer. This features an bear silhouette with an orange and yellow background. I will be adding more animals as time goes on. Others shown are also available in my shop.

Comes with an iron on backing that doesn't require being sewn on. If you would rather sew it on please let me know and I can put a different backing that will hold it in place for you to sew or just leave off the backing all together.

This is a small version of the headdress I make turned into earrings. Made of safety pins and glass beads these will make a nice addition to your wardrobe. Each earring contains over 70 blass beads. No acrylic beads used on this set.

Each earring is about 1 inch square.

The popular “End of the Trail” sculpture by James Earle Fraser was first shown at San Francisco’s 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition and reflected Native American cultures as a “conquered and vanishing race” while
purporting to reverently memorialize “the noble Indian.” Since its original presentation this 18’ plaster statue was immediately acclaimed by Euro-American society as a masterpiece and symbol of the American West. Over the past century, “The End of the Trail” has become one of the most widely reproduced images in American Art history. However, since Fraser’s sculpture was unveiled, Native America has had a different interpretation of what “The End of the Trail” represents.

Love bears? This is a great patch for you. Measures 2.5" wide x 3.8 inches long and is a total stitched patch made on my embroidery machine. This comes with an iron on backing, but I still recommend stitching around it for extra security.

You can choose the color of thread you would like for the background. Shown are examples done in blue and orange.
