Tourmalated quartz is an unusual stone that has little black needles that run through like a a crystal. It's a natural occurrence that makes each stone one of a kind.
The perimeter of the pendant is wrapped in tiny little black spinel rondells that frame the tourmalated quartz. Both stones are semi precious.

There are three strands of sterling silver chain that have been deeply oxidized for boldness and to complement the stone.

The stone measures nearly 2" from tip to toe and 1" in diameter.
