The mandala is an original design also created by the artist.<br />This painting has some beautiful calming blue tones throughout and is subtle in its color fields.<br />I try to keep things simple, minimal and organic in these paintings. Lots of color and layers make up the foundation. The ink lines tie it all together and push the abstraction into the background. The intricate mandala collage creates a focal point and also creates a nice contrast against the loose brushwork around it.
