Hello Beautiful Person!

My name is Hilary and I run a small business out of my home studio called Bunny with a Toolbelt, making small figures out of wood, paint, and various mixed media materials. As a mail-order minister who has legally married eight of her dear friends, I have truly loved helping others create their perfect ceremony. I have brought this experience to my line of wedding cake toppers because I see that many couples consider this item to be a symbol of themselves that becomes the centerpiece of their wedding, as well as a cherished memento displayed in their homes after the special day has passed. These pieces are painted with a rubberized paint that is foodsafe and easily cleaned up after the cake has been eaten. The wood used in all my work is up-cycled, gleaned from the scrap bins at a local fine woodworking business, and I am proud to use very few store-bought materials in my entire line. These wedding cake toppers are extremely lightweight and sit proudly atop your cake without sinking in.

Groom is about 3-3.5 inches tall and around 2 inches in diameter.

Bride is roughly the same size as the groom, less a bit in height of course. Her veil is pinned on with two irridescent pink flowers.

The set you see here is available and ready to ship. Allow 3 additional days within the United States (Priority Mail) and 7-10 days for other countries. If you need a rush order, I'm sure we can work something out. Just ask.

I am also happy to send two grooms or two brides for gay or lesbian wedding ceremonies.

My name is Hilary and I have been making wood wedding cake couples for the past six years. I keep the design minimalist and simple--they are inspired by Alexander Girard, Calder's circus, and Japanese plastic toys like Pokemon. I coat the figures with a rubberized paint that is food safe when dry and easily washable so they can be displayed in the home later as a memento of their special day.

As a mail-order minister who has legally married eight of her dear friends, I have truly loved helping others create their perfect ceremony. I have brought this experience to my line of wedding cake toppers because I see that many couples consider this item to be a symbol of themselves that becomes the centerpiece of their wedding, as well as a cherished memento displayed in their homes after the special day has passed.

I love custom orders. I have made several special bride and groom sets based on my more traditional design you can also find on my Etsy site. There are several examples here of some of my favorites. I've included the images that were provided for inspiration.

The first image is of a request to design figures to reflect traditional Indian wedding costumes. In this ceremony, the bride wears a beautiful deep red dress with metallic gold patterns and details. The groom wears a suit that is cream or off-white and a turban. The customer sent me two images of the wedding costumes to emulate, and I sent her a drawing in return of my proposal. I chose to have a subtle pattern on the front of the groom to represent the brocade like the images she sent me of the traditional jacket, and use shiny brass tacks to create the pattern on the bride's dress and bindi.

The third image was a commission for a couple from different parts of the world. The groom's figure needed to reflect his Armenian heritage. The bride identified with the sea, and my final design matched her actual dress and bouquet.

The fourth image shows two different commissions. The top pictures are from a set I wrote about in an article for Etsy's handmade weddings blog. Please see my "happy family" listing in the weddings section of my shop to learn more about this commission.

Beneath the happy family is a set I created for a bride and groom who wanted their figures to be reminiscent of their college sport mascots, University of Central Florida (the Black Knights) and and the University of Florida (the Gators.)

The price listed here is what I typically charge for a custom order. I will send drawings as we finalize the design, and you only commit when you see what you like. (The price may be slightly higher than $100 if your piece is complex or technically challenging. The bride has a veil that is held on with three metallic purple flowers with white centers. She has a creamy white body with a subtle white dot pattern, yellow beak and yellow striped legs. Her head is pale blue and her eyes are green.

The groom has a boutonniere that matches the bride's flowers. His body is black with a pale blue head and he has a yellow beak and yellow striped legs just like his betrothed. His eyes are green and he sports a jaunty little black top hat.

I made the figure and had it professionally photographed for an additional fee, so she had a high resolution image that could be transposed to business cards, hang tags, letterhead, etc. And then she also owned the original figure as her shop mascot!

The price listed here is a ballpark figure for a typical custom project. Price may vary for your project depending on the complexity. Before you commit, I will send drawings of the proposed item and the price.

Payment must be made in full before I start actually working on your special piece. Sorry, no refunds on custom items, but I will say that I've never had an unhappy customer and am willing to work with you to get a design you're satisfied with!

This one of a kind bird sculpture is almost 6 inches tall (including base), 7 inches wide, and about .75 inches thick. Its beautiful black body has three "feathers" atop its head that are bright red at the tips. black flocked polka dots on the bird body, and its blue legs have flocked black stripes!

The base is a green with some sprouts of grass and two red flowers sprouting. The base is about 4x2" in diameter.

This sculpture is made from wood and mixed media materials. It has been painted with a thick rubberized paint, and some parts have fuzzy flocking.

My name is Hilary and I run a small business out of my home studio called Bunny with a Toolbelt, making small figures out of wood, paint, and various mixed media materials. As a mail-order minister who has legally married eight of her dear friends, I have truly loved helping others create their perfect ceremony. I have brought this experience to my line of wedding cake toppers because I see that many couples consider this item to be a symbol of themselves that becomes the centerpiece of their wedding, as well as a cherished memento displayed in their homes after the special day has passed. These pieces are painted with a rubberized paint that is foodsafe and easily cleaned up after the cake has been eaten. The wood used in all my work is upcycled, gleaned from the scrap bins at a local fine woodworking business, and I am proud to use very few store-bought materials in my entire line. These wedding cake toppers are extremely lightweight and sit proudly atop your cake without sinking in.

This bride and groom kitty set you see here is 4" tall (to the top of the groom's hat.) This set is ready to ship immediately.

I am more than happy to do a custom order based on the set you see here. (This is where my ministerial skills really come in handy!) Custom orders typically add no more than $25 to the price listed with this item. If it's a minor change, such as paint color, the price will be the same as you see here. Email me to let me know your wedding theme, bouquet flowers, colors, personal interests, anything that you would love to see incorporated in a personalized set created just for you. My name is Hilary and I run a small business out of my home studio called Bunny with a Toolbelt, making small figures out of wood, paint, and various mixed media materials. As a mail-order minister who has legally married eight of her dear friends, I have truly loved helping others create their perfect ceremony. I have brought this experience to my line of wedding cake toppers because I see that many couples consider this item to be a symbol of themselves that becomes the centerpiece of their wedding, as well as a cherished memento displayed in their homes after the special day has passed.

These pieces are painted with a rubberized paint that is foodsafe and easily cleaned up after the cake has been eaten. The wood used in all my work is pre-cycled, gleaned from the scrap bins at a local fine woodworking business, and I am proud to use very few store-bought materials in my entire line. These wedding cake toppers are extremely lightweight and sit proudly atop your cake without sinking in.

This cute little set is just over 3" tall. The groom is all black with a white belly and blue eyes. If you would like a different eye color, I can do that at no extra charge--just let me know when you place the order.

The bride is also black with a white belly and blue eyes. She has a tuille veil that is held in place with two pink flowers with white centers. As with the groom figure, you may request a different eye color at checkout.

The set you see here is in stock and can ship within 2-3 days of order. Allow 3 days within the United States (Priority Mail) and 7-10 days for other countries. If you need a rush order, I'm sure we can work something out. Just ask.

I am also happy to send two grooms or two brides for gay or lesbian wedding ceremonies.

If you have more time until your wedding day, I am more than happy to do a custom order based on the set you see here. (This is where my ministerial skills really come in handy!)
