I know this is an odd thing to have in my shop, but I'm experimenting here before possibly opening another shop.

Each canvas is 16 X 20.
The wall space taken up in this picture: 3' 1" high
4' 10" wide, with approximately 1" space between the canvases.

The edges of each canvas are finished in medium brown paint.

This nightlight piece is made of stained glass. Each piece has been copper foiled and then soldered and brushed with black patina. The night light base is made of wood and has a electrical cord with an easy reach switch on the cord. (In the above photo, the nightlight base is a metal one.) This set includes the following:

Stained Glass Poinsettia flower
Night light base
Night light bulb
Night light cord with switch and bulb fitting

All you have to do is a super easy assembly (no tools needed) and plug it in!!

Measures: 9 1/2" tall X 7 3/4" at widest point. Each poinsettia stained glass piece will vary slightly and can be made in any color choice.

This suncatcher pumpkin is 6 1/2" tall X 7 1/2" wide. The addition of the wire vine and leaves makes it about 1" taller and 3" wider.

I've used white stained glass for the pumpkin and amber stained glass for the leaves. The leaves have been embelished with wire veins. The stem is done in brown stained glass.

The wire for the vine is made of two pieces of wire twisted together.

You can order this piece in any color. You want a PURPLE pumpkin? No problem! Please specify leaf color also.

White Dragon Mosaic

White dragon in a storm, guarding his treasure.

Measures: 21 1/2" high X 23" wide. Border has a wavy edge.

This piece is done on hardboard that has been primed with white paint. The white paint is visable on the edges and back.

The back of this piece is signed and sports two eye hook type hangers that are outfitted with wire connecting the two for hanging by a single nail or picture hanger.

The dragon is done in white, black, and blue stained glass.
Most of the background is done in black stained glass and glass gems.
The dragon's eye is a rhinestone.
The dragon is guarding a treasure of several different lampwork beads and rhinestones.
The dragon is standing on round mirrors. There are 6 mirrors of different sizes at the bottom under the dragon.
All along the edges and throughout the piece are round glass gems in clear, transparent lavender, and opaque lavender.
The grout is grey.

PRICING INFORMATION:
A lot of work and time goes into a piece like this. I have outlined the steps below. All of the supplies for this piece were purchased by me.

1. hardboard was cut out, sanded, primed with white primer
2. two eyehook hangers were installed on back
3. The dragon was sketched onto the board. (SEE LAST PHOTO)
4. The glass pieces were cut and glued down. Some pieces had to be recut to fit.
5. After the glue was dry (about a week), I hand mixed the grey grout the shade I wanted and applied it to the piece. The excess was wiped off with a damp sponge...a long messy process.
6. At some point, the piece was allowed to set up and dry more.
7. The grout film was polished off of all the glass...another long process.
8. The beads and rhinestones were added.
9. The wire was added to the back.
10. The wood edges were touched up with white paint and I signed the back.

This is a "one of a kind" piece of art.

This wire hat has been enhanced with glass gems/blobs in blue and green. The gems were copper foiled and then soldered to the wire hat. There are also glass flowers and a glass bug on the hat. This hat is not to be worn... and in fact, would be uncomfortable to wear. It is designed to hang on a wall or fence by a nail or hook.

EXPLANATION OF PRICING:

I purchased the wooden birdhouse and then primed it with paint before gluing began. I also purchased the gems, mirror, grout and paint.

I hand cut each piece of mirror and some of the gems had to be cut in half. I used special glass cutting nippers for the cutting.

I hand placed and glued each piece. Sometimes I had to hold the piece into place for several minutes before I could continue on because the glue would make the piece slide around and it would move out of place on its own.

After all of the gluing was done, I had to allow the piece to dry a few days just to make sure the glue had set up good.

I hand mixed the grout color myself and applied it. After it was given a little time to set up, I wiped the excess off with a wet sponge. This usually takes a little bit of time because grout is soooooo messy.

After the piece has been allowed to dry completely, I go back and polish up all the glass and mirror to get all the grout "film" off of it and make it shine.

Lastly, I glued on the acrylic gem on the top and on the end of the perch.

This piece took approximately 90 hours to complete.

Unusual piece and one of a kind!

Mostly mirror pieces dec-out this old baby cradle, but I also used stained glass and glass gems.

I am calling it a "plant cradle" now, because I made it so you could place a silk plant or flower arrangement in it. This would look so sweet on a patio or even in the house. Do you have a garden room? PERFECT!

EXPLANATION OF PRICING:
If you are wondering "just why is this piece so expensive?", here's my story:

The cradle is not something I purchased at a store. It is actually someones child's cradle that they no longer wanted to keep.

I purchased the wood for the bottom, the paint, the stained glass, the gems, the mirror, the grout, the glue.

I hand cut each piece of stained glass and mirror. I did not break it by stomping on it or hitting it with a hammer. I used special nippers for cutting the glass into small pieces.

I hand placed and glued each piece into place. In some cases, I had to recut a piece to fit. Although it may look like these pieces are randomly placed, they are not.

After all the cutting and gluing was done (about 3 weeks), I hand mixed the grout and applied it to each side separately. When it had cured a bit, I wiped the excess off with a wet sponge. This process usually takes a while and is very messy. Once done, I allowed the piece to dry completely before starting to grout another side. When the one side was dry, I buffed the grout "film" off of the glass so it would sparkle.

When the grouting was complete, I glued the painted bottom board into place. In all, I probably spent 6 weeks on this piece alone.

This is a lead and glass mirror. I have used black patina on the lead and there is a metal hanging loop soldered on the back. The glass pieces are clear and pink. The pink ones are kind of a peachy-pink.

The actual mirror is 2 3/4 inches. The entire piece is
7 1/2 inches long and 5 1/2 inches at the widest point.

These look great on a fence, by a door, on a tree, and look especially impressive grouped together!

This cute garden mirror is made of lead and glass. The lead is colored with black patina. There is a metal hanging loop soldered to the back. The glass pieces are red and gold.

The actual mirror is 2 3/4 inches. The entire piece is just shy of 8 inches long and 5 inches wide at the widest point.

These work well in the garden on a fence or gate, a tree, or by a door. You can also hang it indoors. They are especially impressive hung in a group!

This adorable mirror is surrounded by lead filigree and green glass blobs and smaller orange glass blobs. It measures 7 1/4 inches long and 6 1/4 inches at the widest point. It is finished in black patina.

This is a one-of-a-kind creation and would look fantastic on a garden fence, on a patio, by the front door, or just about anywhere you can imagine! You know that small area of wall next to a window or door? This would looks great there! Teens and adults love these little mirrors. They also look fabulous when grouped in 3's.
