Yes, it came from Ikea originally. I can tell because of the unmistakable stamp on the bottom, and its sleek, stackable design. It's also got one of those cool notches on the bottom that keep the cup from collecting water when it's turned upside-down to dry.

We carved all the way through the midnight black glaze so that the bold natural ceramic can be seen. The mug is sturdy and dishwasher safe.

Are you looking for a gift for a space lover? Want something romantic and one of a kind?

These cups were sandblasted by my husband and myself in our little studio! The designs were created from handmade stencils based on my original artwork. Each glass cup has a neon pink coating over a bright orange coating on the outside (the orange shows through on the inside). Where the design was sandblasted clear on the outside, it shows light through, which looks orange. It's really neat!

About 4" (10cm) tall at the top, and 3.75" (9.5cm) wide at its widest point. Containers are reclaimed/upcycled glasses that were rescued from thrift store obscurity to become unique decor for your home. All reclaimed items show some signs of wear, and these (unfortunately) have some scratches in the colored coating that are visible from the back. We've discounted the price accordingly.

Because of the delicate colored coating on these glasses, I'd recommend using them for decoration only. Don't drink or eat out of them, and please handwash only. They'd make great vases or candle holders.

We carved all the way through the black glaze so that the bold natural ceramic can be seen. They're sturdy and dishwasher safe, but you might want to handwash the cup so it doesn't get tossed around in a machine.

This cup is about 2.5" (6.5cm) tall and 2.5" (6.5cm) across the mouth. It holds 4 oz. of liquid, so you can drink your frothed milk and espresso in style. This cup holds twice the amount of the espresso cups we've had before (size comparison is shown in the 5th product photo), but it's still rather small. Some teacups are this size, so you could drink tea out of it, if you'd prefer.

Every reclaimed item has some signs of wear, since they were gently used before we found them.

Each glass shaker holds 2 oz. of seasoning goodness (although, they look like they hold more than that to me) and has a steel screw-on top. We don't keep all designs in stock, so your set will be made to order. Please allow up to a week for us to make them for you.

This delicate china teacup and saucer set has been rescued from thrift store obscurity! It was sandblasted by my husband and myself in our little studio. The curly mustache design is from a handmade stencil based on my original drawing.

We carved all the way through the white colored glaze and pale blue floral designs so that the natural pottery can be seen. The pure white china has extremely subtle raised spots in the mustache area, from the raised texture of the floral design itself. This is really fascinating to see (but difficult to photograph)!

The etching is completely permanent, but I would definitely hand-wash this to keep it safe. Also, the metallic rings may not jive with a microwave.

This cup is about 3" (7.5cm) tall and 3.5" (9cm) wide across the top of the opening. Every reclaimed item has some signs of wear, since they were gently used before we found them, but this one seems to be flawless.

My husband and I worked together to make these fused glass hair clips, using decals from my original artwork. These aren't your standard, run-of-the-mill decals, either! Ours produce a crisp, black graphic, instead of the speckled, copper-colored decals that most other people use.

Layers of glass are stacked on top of each other, then fused in a kiln until they melt together and the edges round out. Then we apply the decals and fuse them again until the artwork has melted permanently into the glass.

A sturdy silver-tone bobby pin is glued with strong epoxy to the back of the glass piece. The glass is approximately 3/4" (2cm) square, and 3/8" (1cm) thick.

This sturdy, one of a kind upcycled vase was reclaimed from a thrift store to become unique decor for your home. It was etched by my husband and myself in our little studio. The artwork is from a handmade stencil based on my pen and ink drawing (which is available on any of our other products).

About 3.5" (9cm) tall, 4.5" (11.5cm) wide at widest point. The transparent aqua blue glass shines with an electric light, reminding me of the sparkle of the sea in the tropics. This squat little bud vase may seem small, but it holds a nice presence as a table decoration or a holder for pencils.

This is a collaboration between myself and artist Leah Pellegrini of http://leahpellegrini.etsy.com

Each blue circle is hand-etched by me with a unique little ocean creature. Each design is etched freehanded with a dental drill, one line at a time, giving it personality and character. There is a shark, an octopus, crab, jelly fish, sea horse and a sea turtle! Leah then took the glass pieces and constructed a mobile out of them. The mobile is a sea of creatures in different blues.

This is a handmade mobile for the home, office or garden. Leah individually crafted the glass pieces and made the steel structure out of galvanized wire so it will not rust with age. She engineers the structure so that the mobile dances and the glass pieces will never smack (it is not a wind-chime).

This stoneware coffee mug has been rescued from thrift store obscurity! It was sandblasted by my husband and myself in our little studio. The artwork is from a handmade stencil based on my pen and ink drawing.

This cup is so nice, I'm tempted to keep it for myself! The handle is a cool angled ergonomic shape, and the dark navy blue glaze is a smooth, matte finish above, and switches to shiny on the lower portion. The mug is small, but heavy, and feels nice to hold in your hands.

We carved all the way through the dark blue glaze so that the bold natural ceramic can be seen. The mug is sturdy and should be dishwasher safe. The bottom reads "Noritake Primastone / Genuine Stoneware / Japan". It sandblasted very smoothly, and everything I've come across by this company has been outstanding.

This cup is about 3" (8cm) tall, 3.25" (8.5cm) across the mouth, and 2" (5cm) across the bottom. It holds 6 oz. of liquid. Every reclaimed item has some signs of wear, since they were gently used before we found them, but these are nearly flawless.

This upcycled container was reclaimed from thrift store obscurity to become unique decor for your home! It could be a vase, or a collectible drinking glass. Maybe it could hold very special pencils next to your computer.

It was etched by my husband and myself in our little studio. The rocket ship and astronaut artwork are from handmade stencils based on my original drawings. I used a dental drill and diamond burrs to hand-engrave the hose that connects the astronauts to the spaceship, and added a series of stars around them. Only TWO of these were ever made, and will ever be made, and they're both a tiny bit different because of their handmade nature. Each one is numbered, initialed and titled on the bottom.

This black glass container is about 5.75" (15cm) tall, and 2.75" (7.5cm) wide across its opening. It appears to be opaque, but lets a tiny amount of purple light through, if held directly in front of a light source. Because it was gently used before we discovered it, there are small scratches and signs of wear on its surface. These give the piece character!

This one of a kind upcycled vase was reclaimed from thrift store obscurity to become unique decor for your home! It was etched by my husband and myself in our little studio. Reclaimed Vase - Naked Tree

The organic lines of a winter tree, devoid of leaves, is one of my favorite images. I haven't found another vase like this one, and the design was just a perfect match for it. The glass color shifts from a light green to a deep foresty color at the bottom. The inside of the vase is white glass, so light sparkles off the top layer with an extra bit of shine.

Foodie Chess Board - Hand-Engraved Glass

You don't have to be a chess whiz or a professional chef to appreciate this hand-engraved glass chess board. You could probably even use it as a cutting board in the kitchen, if you wanted to. The etching is all on the bottom of the board, so it won't absorb bacteria easily.

I used a dental drill to freehand carve 16 different food items (each design is repeated once, so that both chess or checker players can view the full range from their sides of the table) onto this glass board. The checkerboard pattern was frosted onto the glass when I found it, and it has clear rubber feet that will keep your table safe.

Sorry, but the glass marbles aren't included. You probably have chess or checkers pieces sitting around in a closet anyway, right?

This classic mug has been rescued from thrift store obscurity! It was sandblasted by my husband and myself in our little studio. The octopus design is from a handmade stencil based on my pen and ink drawing.

We carved through the surface of this dark cobalt blue glass for a permanent frosted finish. The mug is sturdy and dishwasher safe.

This cup is about 3 5/8" (9.5cm) tall and 3" (8cm) wide across the top of the opening. Every reclaimed item has some signs of wear, since they were gently used before we found them.

My husband and I worked together to make these fused glass pendants, using decals from my original artwork. These aren't your standard, run-of-the-mill decals, either! Ours produce a crisp, black graphic, instead of the speckled, copper-colored decals that most other people use.

Layers of glass are stacked on top of each other, with a wire bail placed between the bottom layers. They're fused in a kiln until the layers melt together and the edges round out. Then we apply the decals and fuse them again until the artwork has permanently melted into the glass.

A nickel-chromium wire is fused permanently into the glass, so you'll never have to worry about anything coming unglued while you're wearing it! A sturdy stainless steel ring attaches the pendant to your choice of strong steel ballchain or black waxed cotton cord with silver-plated hook clasp. (A 16" ballchain will be included with your order unless you ask for a longer size, or a cotton cord.)

These bold gems are substantially sized at a little larger than 1.5" x 1.5" (4cm x 4cm) square and 3/8" (1cm) thick.

It may take a week or two for your special candle to be made, since there are two of us involved in hand-crafting it, and a lot of steps involved. Convo one of us first if you'd like to know which designs may be ready to ship right away if you need it in a hurry! We ship this priority mail, so it will travel fast once it's made.

This is a collaboration between Autumn Comfort Candles (http://autumncomfort.etsy.com) and ourselves! This all-natural candle is made from a green or brown hand-cut recycled wine bottle (the rim has been sanded smooth). The bottle-turned-jar is etched by us with your choice of design: pick from the ones in the photos, or from just about anything else in our shop. The candle is approximately 13 ounces of natural wax. It is dye and additive free, and as always, Autumn uses natural lead-free cottons wicks. The photos show the bottles without candles in them, but you can see finished ones in Autumn Comfort's shop.

Here is a current list of fragrances (good luck choosing between them!), their descriptions, and health and safety info:

[A note about phthalates: phthalates are commonly found in plastics, some medicines, and a lot of other common products. It's suggested that some people may be allergic to them, and they may be harmful to children. Please choose a phthalate-free fragrance if you're concerned about this.]

Apple Strudel- (PHTHALATE FREE) The prefect combination of fresh crisp apples and freshly baked strudel with hints of warm vanilla and a bit of spice.

Baby Powder- (PHTHALATE FREE) This soft and woody blend makes you feel on top of the clouds. It begins with white cedar and blue violet petals. The heart blends freesia, ylang ylang, heliotrope and cypress. The dry is a woodsy powdery musk. This fragrance oil contains natural essential oils, including Cedar wood, Patchouli and Ylang Ylang.

This delicious combination of walnuts, ripe banana, vanilla, and a touch of spice is sure to spark your appetite. Throws great in paraffin and soy. Birthday Cake- (contains phthalates) A sweet buttery bouquet reminiscent of vanilla cake.

Blueberry Cheesecake- (PHTHALATE FREE) Inviting aroma of baked vanilla cheesecake and mouthwatering blueberries.

Caramel Apple- (contains phthalates) Aroma of a big bite of Macintosh apple dipped in warm caramel.

Caramelized Praline- (contains phthalates) An irresistible blend of sweet warm vanilla caramel, dark brown sugar and butter-drenched pecans.

Cucumber Melon- (PHTHALATE FREE) A fruity honeydew melon and green cucumber blended with tart apples and watery fresh greens.

Lavender Essential Oil- (PHTHALATE FREE) Pure, uncut Lavender, grown in the Hood river Valley, with no pesticides or herbicides. The real deal.

Macintosh Apple- (PHTHALATE FREE) Crisp fresh apple. A strong and lovely right on the mark fragrance.
