It was sandblasted by my husband and myself in our little studio. The artwork is from a handmade stencil based on my pen and ink drawing.

Yes, it came from Ikea originally. I can tell because of the unmistakable stamp on the bottom, and its sleek, stackable design. It's also got one of those cool notches on the bottom that keep the cup from collecting water when it's turned upside-down to dry.

We carved all the way through the midnight black glaze so that the bold natural ceramic can be seen. The mug is sturdy and dishwasher safe.

This cup is about 4" (10cm) tall, 3.25" (8.5cm) across the mouth, and 2" (5cm) across the bottom.
OOAK Reclaimed Vessels - Love in Outer Space

$32.00
Are you looking for a gift for a space lover? Want something romantic and one of a kind?

These cups were sandblasted by my husband and myself in our little studio! The designs were created from handmade stencils based on my original artwork. Each glass cup has a neon pink coating over a bright orange coating on the outside (the orange shows through on the inside). Where the design was sandblasted clear on the outside, it shows light through, which looks orange. It's really neat!

About 4" (10cm) tall at the top, and 3.75" (9.5cm) wide at its widest point. Containers are reclaimed/upcycled glasses that were rescued from thrift store obscurity to become unique decor for your home. All reclaimed items show some signs of wear, and these (unfortunately) have some scratches in the colored coating that are visible from the back. We've discounted the price accordingly.

Because of the delicate colored coating on these glasses, I'd recommend using them for decoration only. Don't drink or eat out of them, and please handwash only. They'd make great vases or candle holders.

Listing is for the 2 glass vessels pictured, shipped insured priority mail in the US, first class mail internationally.

Little Reclaimed Mustache Cappuccino Set - Black and White

The mug was sandblasted by my husband and myself in our little studio. The artwork is from a handmade stencil based on my pen and ink drawing.

We carved all the way through the black glaze so that the bold natural ceramic can be seen. They're sturdy and dishwasher safe, but you might want to handwash the cup so it doesn't get tossed around in a machine.

This cup is about 2.5" (6.5cm) tall and 2.5" (6.5cm) across the mouth. It holds 4 oz. of liquid, so you can drink your frothed milk and espresso in style. This cup holds twice the amount of the espresso cups we've had before (size comparison is shown in the 5th product photo), but it's still rather small. Some teacups are this size, so you could drink tea out of it, if you'd prefer.

Every reclaimed item has some signs of wear, since they were gently used before we found them.

This listing is for 1 mug and 1 matching saucer, packaged carefully and shipped Priority Mail within the U.S. and first class internationally. Some of the mugs and saucers in this set say "Sakura" on the bottom, and some don't. If you buy more than one set, we'll make sure they match for you.

LOVE MUSTACHES??
Reclaimed Mustache Teacup and Saucer- White China

$24.00
This delicate china teacup and saucer set has been rescued from thrift store obscurity! It was sandblasted by my husband and myself in our little studio. The curly mustache design is from a handmade stencil based on my original drawing.

We carved all the way through the white colored glaze and pale blue floral designs so that the natural pottery can be seen. The pure white china has extremely subtle raised spots in the mustache area, from the raised texture of the floral design itself. This is really fascinating to see (but difficult to photograph)!

The etching is completely permanent, but I would definitely hand-wash this to keep it safe. Also, the metallic rings may not jive with a microwave.

This cup is about 3" (7.5cm) tall and 3.5" (9cm) wide across the top of the opening. Every reclaimed item has some signs of wear, since they were gently used before we found them, but this one seems to be flawless.

This listing is for 1 mug and one matching saucer, packaged carefully and shipped Priority Mail within the U.S. and first class internationally. Insurance is included in the shipping price.

This delicate cobalt blue glass was rescued from thrift store obscurity.

About 8 1/2" (21.5cm) tall and 2.5" (6.25cm) wide at its widest point. I have other wine glasses available for etching with any of our designs, but they may not look exactly like this one.

Listing is for the 1 glass in the photos main listing photo (we only have one of each design in this blue color), shipped priority mail within the US, and first class mail internationally.

Each design is etched freehanded with a dental drill, one line at a time, giving it personality and character. There is a shark, an octopus, crab, jelly fish, sea horse and a sea turtle! Leah then took the glass pieces and constructed a mobile out of them. The mobile is a sea of creatures in different blues.

This is a handmade mobile for the home, office or garden. Leah individually crafted the glass pieces and made the steel structure out of galvanized wire so it will not rust with age. She engineers the structure so that the mobile dances and the glass pieces will never smack (it is not a wind-chime).

Self Propulsion - a cyan blue bicycle pendant

$18.00
This is our first run of fused jewelry items, so we're offering them at a special introductory price!! Currently, these pendants are extremely limited, but you can check out our Flickr photos to see what else we might have available (but haven't had time to list) http://flickr.com/breadnbadger/
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

My husband and I worked together to make these fused glass pendants, using decals from my original artwork. These aren't your standard, run-of-the-mill decals, either! Ours produce a crisp, black graphic, instead of the speckled, copper-colored decals that most other people are using.

Three layers of glass are stacked on top of each other, with a wire bail between the bottom two layers. They're fused in a kiln until the layers melt together and the edges round out a bit. Then we apply the decals and fuse them again until the artwork has melted into the glass.

A nickel-chromium wire is fused permanently into the glass, so you'll never have to worry about anything coming unglued while you're wearing it! A sturdy stainless steel ring attaches the pendant to your choice of strong steel ballchain or black waxed cotton cord with silver-plated hook clasp. (A 16" ballchain will be included with your order unless you ask for a longer size, or a cotton cord.)

These bold gems come in bright colors like light cyan blue, orangey tomato red and earthy olive green--this listing is for the color in the main listing photo. They're substantially sized at a little larger than 1.5" x 1.5" (4cm x 4cm) square and 3/8" (1cm) thick.

This necklace is shipped First Class mail to all destinations.

Or a perfect gift, if you fill it with candy. Or a keepsake bottle, great for displaying colored sand, glitter, or your favorite spice mix. You could use it as a scented oil diffuser... There are so many possibilities!

This tiny bottle fits in the palm of your hand and looks great holding a short-stemmed flower.
Reclaimed Stoneware Mug - Steady Snail

$20.00
This stoneware coffee mug has been rescued from thrift store obscurity! It was sandblasted by my husband and myself in our little studio. The artwork is from a handmade stencil based on my pen and ink drawing.

This cup is so nice, I'm tempted to keep it for myself! The handle is a cool angled ergonomic shape, and the dark navy blue glaze is a smooth, matte finish above, and switches to shiny on the lower portion. The mug is small, but heavy, and feels nice to hold in your hands.

We carved all the way through the dark blue glaze so that the bold natural ceramic can be seen. The mug is sturdy and should be dishwasher safe. The bottom reads "Noritake Primastone / Genuine Stoneware / Japan". It sandblasted very smoothly, and everything I've come across by this company has been outstanding.

This cup is about 3" (8cm) tall, 3.25" (8.5cm) across the mouth, and 2" (5cm) across the bottom. It holds 6 oz. of liquid. Every reclaimed item has some signs of wear, since they were gently used before we found them, but these are nearly flawless.

This listing is for 1 mug, packaged carefully and shipped Priority Mail within the U.S. and first class internationally.

Limited Edition Reclaimed Vessel - Astronaut Love

$55.00
Because you never know where you might fall in love.

This upcycled container was reclaimed from thrift store obscurity to become unique decor for your home! It could be a vase, or a collectible drinking glass. Maybe it could hold very special pencils next to your computer.

It was etched by my husband and myself in our little studio. The rocket ship and astronaut artwork are from handmade stencils based on my original drawings. I used a dental drill and diamond burrs to hand-engrave the hose that connects the astronauts to the spaceship, and added a series of stars around them. Only TWO of these were ever made, and will ever be made, and they're both a tiny bit different because of their handmade nature. Each one is numbered, initialed and titled on the bottom.

This black glass container is about 5.75" (15cm) tall, and 2.75" (7.5cm) wide across its opening. It appears to be opaque, but lets a tiny amount of purple light through, if held directly in front of a light source. Because it was gently used before we discovered it, there are small scratches and signs of wear on its surface. These give the piece character!

This listing is for ONE vase, shipped insured priority mail in the U.S., first class mail internationally.

Entomology - an olive green dragonfly pendant

$15.00
This is our first run of fused jewelry items, so we're offering them at a special introductory price!! Currently, these pendants are extremely limited, but you can check out our Flickr photos to see what else we might have available (but haven't had time to list) http://flickr.com/breadnbadger/
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

No one wants to look at brand name labels every day when you could choose your own design. You can even mix liquid soaps together to get unique colors.

8.5 oz.; 6.5" tall; 3" wide at widest point; 1.5" wide at base; The glass is thick and durable, but may have small inclusions or imperfections because the glass is recycled. Soap not included. This soap pump has been sandblasted by my husband and myself in our little studio!

Some of the plastic pumps we have are clear, but some are white. We're using up the clear ones, since they're discontinued, then we'll only have the white ones available.
Crafting a Modern Press Release (an ebook on marketing your shop)

$5.00
**This listing is for a 33 pg. downloadable PDF ebook**

So you have an online shop where you sell your handmade creations or vintage finds. Congratulations! You're an entrepreneur!

If you're looking for an appropriate way to get the word out about your shop without spending all your hard-earned cash on advertisements, then it's probably time to send out press releases. Don't send the kind of stuffy and outdated news releases that all the small business books tell you to write! I'll teach you how to professionally contact bloggers, magazines and local newspapers quickly, easily, and for free.

I've had loads of press features in print media and online (check out my press page for examples: www.breadandbadger.com/press.html) and I want to share my tips for success with other small business people like you! My ebook contains 33 pages of advice, examples and resources. There are checklists, brainstorming ideas, outlines to follow, and written examples of press releases I've sent out. There aren't many images (I'm working on that for future copies!), but there's a ton of information.

When you purchase this listing, you will receive an email within 24 hrs of paying through Paypal, which will contain a link to the downloadable PDF file. (If you pay by another method, I'll email you when payment is received). If you have any trouble with the download, please contact me.

------------------------------------------------------
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND:

1. Although I can't guarantee success for your shop, I am sharing what's worked well for me. I wish you all the best, but I'm not a business coach.

2. In addition to information on how and why to send press releases, I also give ideas for brainstorming angles you can take with your writing. It's not a technical writing book though, so tips on grammar and spelling are not covered.

3. This tutorial is a compilation of techniques I've used and developed, and ideas I've shared in my press release workshop. The writing is all my own, but some of the ideas have been shared before on other websites or books.

4. This tutorial does not cover ideas for taking better photos, or selling on Etsy specifically, or running a business, or raising your children. I could give you a cocktail recipe if you asked nicely though. ;)

5. This book is in no way sponsored or endorsed by Etsy, Inc.

6. There are no refunds for the purchase of this tutorial. If you have questions, please ask before purchasing.

7. This is a first edition. Purchase of this edition entitles you to all future updated and revised copies of this tutorial *FREE* of charge. Contact me when you'd like a later edition sent to you.

8. My writing is original and copyrighted. Do not reproduce any part of my writing without express permission.
Foodie Chess Board - Hand-Engraved Glass

$90.00
You don't have to be a chess whiz or a professional chef to appreciate this hand-engraved glass chess board. You could probably even use it as a cutting board in the kitchen, if you wanted to. The etching is all on the bottom of the board, so it won't absorb bacteria easily.

I used a dental drill to freehand carve 16 different food items (each design is repeated once, so that both chess or checker players can view the full range from their sides of the table) onto this glass board. The checkerboard pattern was frosted onto the glass when I found it, and it has clear rubber feet that will keep your table safe.

Sorry, but the glass marbles aren't included. You probably have chess or checkers pieces sitting around in a closet anyway, right?

Artwork involves original drawings of the following foods:
Chicken/Turkey Drumstick
Strawberry
Pumpkin
Baguette/Loaf of Bread
Eggplant
Cheese Wheel
T-Bone Steak
Pear
Jalapeno
Peanut
Artichoke
Head of Garlic
Mushroom
Cherries
Onion
Tomato

This board will be insured and packaged carefully and shipping Priority Mail in the U.S. and First Class internationally.

The etched designs are permanent, and the glasses are sturdy and dishwasher-safe.

5.75" tall, 16 oz
Listing is for 2 glasses

These are shipped priority mail in the US, first class internationally. Insurance is included.

You can find me on Ravelry as HoneyBadger, if you're interested in what I'm knitting or want to show me your latest project. :)

I Love Trees - a tomato red Heart Tree pendant

$18.00
My husband and I worked together to make these fused glass pendants, using decals from my original artwork. These aren't your standard, run-of-the-mill decals, either! Ours produce a crisp, black graphic, instead of the speckled, copper-colored decals that most other people use.

Layers of glass are stacked on top of each other, with a wire bail placed between the bottom layers. They're fused in a kiln until the layers melt together and the edges round out. Then we apply the decals and fuse them again until the artwork has permanently melted into the glass.

These bold gems are substantially sized at a little larger than 1.5" x 1.5" (4cm x 4cm) square and 3/8" (1cm) thick.

This necklace is shipped First Class mail to all destinations.

It was sandblasted by my husband and myself in our little studio. The artwork is from a handmade stencil based on my pen and ink drawing.

We carved all the way through the navy glaze so that the bold natural ceramic can be seen. The mug should be sturdy and dishwasher safe.

This cup is almost 4" (10cm) tall and 3" (8cm) wide across the opening. It holds 8 oz. of liquid. Every reclaimed item has some signs of wear, since they were gently used before we found them.

This listing is for 1 mug, packaged carefully and shipped Priority Mail within the U.S. and first class internationally. Insurance is included in the shipping price.

Convo one of us first if you'd like to know which designs may be ready to ship right away if you need it in a hurry! We ship this priority mail, so it will travel fast once it's made.

This is a collaboration between Autumn Comfort Candles (http://autumncomfort.etsy.com) and ourselves! This all-natural candle is made from a green or brown hand-cut recycled wine bottle (the rim has been sanded smooth). The bottle-turned-jar is etched by us with your choice of design: pick from the ones in the photos, or from just about anything else in our shop. The candle is approximately 13 ounces of natural wax. It is dye and additive free, and as always, Autumn uses natural lead-free cottons wicks. The photos show the bottles without candles in them, but you can see finished ones in Autumn Comfort's shop.

Here is a current list of fragrances (good luck choosing between them!), their descriptions, and health and safety info:

[A note about phthalates: phthalates are commonly found in plastics, some medicines, and a lot of other common products. It's suggested that some people may be allergic to them, and they may be harmful to children.
Blast Off - an olive green Rocket Ship pendant - with necklace

$12.00
My husband and I worked together to make this line of fused glass jewelry, using decals from my original artwork. These aren't your standard, run-of-the-mill decals, either! Ours produce a crisp, black graphic, instead of the speckled, copper-colored decals that most other people use.

Layers of glass are stacked on top of each other, then fused in a kiln until they melt together and the edges round out. Then we apply the decals and fuse them again until the artwork has melted permanently into the glass.

Wire is fused between the layers of glass, so you'll never have to worry about anything coming unglued! A sturdy steel jumpring holds this securely onto a 16" stainless steel ballchain necklace. If you'd prefer 18" chain, or a vegan black cord necklace instead, just let us know in the "notes to seller"! (Black cord comes in a variety of sizes. Just ask if you'd like a very long one!)

The glass is approximately 3/4" (2cm) wide, 1.5" (3.5cm) tall, and 3/8" (1cm) thick.

This necklace is shipped First Class mail to all destinations.
