Are these vintage? They look old. They are stamped "Gifford's" with a Springfield, Ma address. Gifford's has been around for 130 years. So they could have been struck in any part of the last century.

These are all the same, lightly weathered, and would be great for your altered art, collages, scrapbooking, or steampunk jewelry projects.

Each measures 2".

Pink and green ocean jasper was cut into cubes 7/8" on all sides. You'll find that it's a nice size for jewelry, bracelets especially.

The colors are soft and the beads have interesting marble like designs. There are 26 beads in this lot.

Blue and Purple Ceramic Beads

Here's a small stash of blue and purple disc beads. These were used for a project with the clear and orange seed beads so I threw in what was left of those as well.

I don't know how many beads are here but they fit into a 1/4 cup measure. And they're about 5/8" in diameter.

I don't know how old these keys are but I think they're pretty. They're a soft white/silver color and have interesting serated edges. I've used others for some of my steampunk jewelry.

This stash of acrylic transparent beads all have little wire hooks so they can be attached to jewelry or any other project. There's over 80 in this package--it fills a half cup measure and weighs 3.5 oz.

They're very versatile and I've used them in jewelry, Christmas ornaments, collages and on handmade cards. They would also be useful for scrapbooking.

Black Agate Focal Bead

This is a great grey to black agate piece with geometric designs. It's drilled through north to south. It's interesting enough to hang alone on a cord yet not so busy that you can't add some pearls or onyx beads to your design.

I've included pictures of both sides of the stone. At 1 1/2" long by 1 1/4" wide, this one has a lot of potential.

This piece of solid pink cotton fabric is from about 1970. This piece is 34" wide and 1" shy of a full 2 yards. It's in great condition and has been preshrunk.

I'd describe it as cotton candy pink and it has a sister fabric in the shop that's pink and white striped.

This is a set of eight keys. Although I don't know their age, this is the type that was used well over 20 years ago for cabinets and lock boxes. They all come with a nice aged patina.

Cranston Animal Print V1

This is a really colorful animal print and a much larger print than the calicoes I've been posting. As are most of my fabrics, it's also a Cranston print from the late 70s or early 80s. I have 1 yard only of this 45" wide fabric.

This is a little heavier weight cotton and can easily be used for tote bags.

Vintage Blue and Brown Stripe Seersucker--1 2/3 Yards V19

Seersucker was big back in the 50's and 60's so mom used a lot of it. This one is a bit unusual as it is blue and chocolate brown. Not white. And the picture with the ruler is a more accurate representation of the actual color and tone.

This fabric is also probably newer, maybe 1960s or 70s as it is wider at 44". It is in great condition.

Vintage Bright Solid Colored Cotton-- V7 set

This is a set of solid colored vintage fabrics most of which go back to the 1950s. They are all leftover pieces and vary in size. All but the orange I can attest are 100% cotton and have been washed and preshrunk. The orange piece may be a blend and is the youngest of the group. I used it as lining for a brocade vest I made in the late 60s or early 70s. It wrinkles less easily than the others and may just be a better quality weave.

These would made great lining for bags and purses or would be nice solid components for a quilt or pieced artwork.

The coffee brown fabric is 35"w x 48"l
The lime green is 35"w x 45"l
The grass green is 35"w x 30"l
The bright orange is 42"w x 36"l

Green Vintage Cotton Reversible Fabric V10

This fabric is a bit heavier. It's 100% cotton and almost the weight of a light denim. One side is a pattern of thin lighter and darker green stripes while the reverse is a white paisley on kelly green. The little paisleys are 1/2" long.

This is a scrap piece from Mom's stash, probably from the 1960's or early 70's, and is 24" x 72" in size.

This is a heavier weave from the 1960s. It has the weight of a brocade and could easily be used for a tote bag or purse. It's colorful and bright and a little 60s psychedelic.

This is a leftover piece from a vest I made in the late 60s or early 70s. There's only a half yard of this great fabric but it's 52" wide.

I don't know exactly how old this piece is but it's at least 30 years old. It's an old version of polyester fleece in an animal print. The right side is fuzzy, like the fabric they used to make kids' pajamas out of, but doesn't have a nap.

This piece is L-shaped. There's a large piece that 41"w x 28"l and an attached piece that's 16"w x 31"l.

This would make a nice pillow, it's sturdy enough to made a tote bag out of, and would make an interesting lining for a purse.
