Large Handmade Collectible Lampwork Galaxy Tornado Marble - In person this marble is awesome! On a flat screen it's hard to communicate what really is.

Bright and sparkly Green/Purple/Blue/Gold Dichroic glass spiral. Tip it into a light source for color change. (Camera can't pick up all the sparkly colors)

Green/Dk.Red borosilicate glass encircles the ouside of the marble. Inside, behind the dichroic sparkly tornado are blue, gold, yellow, green and purple dots, of the cave marble type -

Joe made this one courtesy of our granddaughter, Emma. This sweet translucent pink galaxy marble employs golden dichroic glass spinning around in a vortex.

The outside of the marble is clear with a pink back which reflects pink all around. You can easily see the dichroic vortex winding it's way downward.

Each marble is annealed in a digital kiln and comes with an acrylic stand.

It is signed, dated 09', and measures 1.53".

He used borosilicate glass and dichroic glass as he formed it with his torch, sculpting and manipulating the molten glass until it became this gleaming vortex marble!

The back is made of orange and black boro glass.

The twisty cane is Amazon green and blue.

The dichro glass is sparkly green-blue-purple.

Joe twisted a cane of two colors of hot glass and twined it along the inside of the vortex which gives it the ethereal appearance, reflecting and levitating.

Each marble is annealed in a digital kiln and comes with an acrylic stand.
It is signed, dated 09', and measures 1.92".

Dichroic Sunset

One medium glass lampwork vortex marble made by Joe Winterbower in his studio. The vortex winds deeply into the core. Bright Pinks, purples and blues depending on where the light bounces off of it.

He used borosilicate glass and dichroic glass as he formed it with his torch, sculpting and manipulating the molten glass until it became this auroral vortex marble!

He lined the swirl with black and white boro, giving the illusion of a very deep vortex.

The back is olive and sea green.

The marble is encased in clear borosilicate glass.

Each marble is annealed in a digital kiln and comes with an acrylic stand.
It is signed, dated 09', and measures 1.75".
