This yarn is part of a batch of dyeing inspired by Harry Potter's London. This particular colourway is inspired by Madam Malkin, the robe-maker.

This yarn is dyed in a shades of pinky-orange through to dusky purple - half the skein towards the lighter end of the scale and the other half towards the more intense end. This should give a mottled stripey effect through your work.

This is a fantastic new sock yarn. It's high-twist, which gives stunning stitch definition, even through mottled colours. It's a dream to work with and produces fantastic socks which will wear brilliantly.

This yarn is part of a batch of dyeing inspired by Harry Potter's London.

This is named after the ice cream parlour on Diagon Alley - I was thinking of an ice cream sundae when I dyed it.

The base colours are pale blue and pink (which will stripe on alternate rows without pooling up to 72 stitches per row) for strawberry and blueberry icecream. It then has a darker blue-purple over the top in little speckles, which are the sprinkles!

This is a new, limited edition yarn. I've managed to get my hands on a small quantity of this yarn, which is 75% wool and 25% nylon. It's a great everyday yarn, similar to classic European brands like Regia or Opel, but hand-dyed by me in scrummy semisolid shades.

This yarn is available in 50g skeins, which might be enough for a pair of sport socks for little feet, but I'd recommend two skeins for a pair of adult socks.

This yarn is a continuation of a range of dyeing inspired by Harry Potter.

This colourway features splashes of each of the main colours of the four Hogwarts houses. These are the same colours (from the same batch of dye mixes) as my self-striping House Unity sock yarn, but a different dyeing method. Each patch of colour is quite short, so it should be possible (perhaps with a little bit of experimenting) to completely avoid pooling.

I've dyed 2 skeins - both identical, dyed in the same pot - but I've re-skeined one of them so the colours are all mixed up because some people find that this makes it easier for them to visualise how it will look when it's knit up.

This colourway is continuing my current theme of yarns inspired by Harry Potter. It features the main colours of the four Hogwarts houses. I've played about with the tones to try and make the coloured stripes really pop out from the background.

Self-striping yarn is a real labour of love - it took the best part of a day to produce this batch of 4 skeins. But I really do think that it's worth it.

The background colour is a mottled black and the stripes will run something like the swatch picture if you're knitting rows of no more than 70-ish stitches.

I've included a snap of a sock I'm knitting which was dyed in the same way as this but with a background colour of brown rather than black.

This is the first colourway of my new self-striping range. The yarn stripes pink, then purple, then blue, then purple and back to pink. A full run of colour is about 8-9 rows of a sock, so you're absolutely guaranteed to not get any pooling on a pair of socks. Dyeing self-striping yarn does take a bit more work, but I absolutely think it's worth it.

I've knit up one repeat of colour (64st on 2.5mm needles) to give you an idea of how it'll look. I'm happy to unravel this and pop it in with your skein so that you can use it for your gauge swatch. Just let me know.
