Here is another great wine bottle cheese board.

They make great Bunco or house warming gifts.

This wine bottle has been recycled into a fabulous cheese board. The hanger is made of twisted copper wire. This makes the "perfect" serving tray or cheese board to serve your guests.

A beaded cheese spreader comes with each serving tray and they are packaged in a clear wine bag tied with raffia. The are ready for gift giving.

The cheese board measures 11 5/8" X 4 3/4", this is including the copper hanger.

This butterfly was made with Kokomo red/orange whispy art glass. Each piece of glass is handcut and then I grind the edges. I then copper foil each piece and solder in a 3-D shape. The body is twisted lead to give it texture. For embellishment I have added swarovski faceted bead attached to the antenna.

After assembly the butterfly is polished with a glass compound to a brillant silver shine.

It measures 4 3/4" X 4".

Stained Glass Cross (Plum/Sage)

This cross is made by using the copperfoil technique. I handcut each piece and ground the edges for a perfect fit. In this particular cross I decided to use plum and sage colored art glass for the edge. I'v also alternated these colors. The center section of the cross is cut from Spectrum glass that appears to be a oak wood grain. The solder has been changed to copper finish and polished to a brillant shine.

This beautifl stained glass cross would look lovely in any room of the house. It would even make a wonderful housewarming gift to the first time homeowner.

The measurment of this cross is 11 3/4" high x 7 5/8" wide.

Each cross comes with a suction cup for hanging and instructions for the care of your suncatcher.

I found these wonderful railroad nails in an antique shop.

When I first saw them I knew they would make the perfect pair of cuff links. And I was right! They are so sweet.

The number on top of each nail is the actual date the the nail was used. These are from 1929 and they are over 80 years old.

The cuff link top measures 15mm.

This is a wine bottle mobile. I handmade this mobile from recycled wine bottles. It would be wonderful for home, office or garden. Each mobile is handcrafted by me. This is another original design of mine that I used in a large oval window for a custom home in Crawford, Texas.

Each piece was handcut and the edges ground for that perfect fit. I actually cut the bluebonnet section out of a piece of clear glass. Then I handpainted the bluebonnet petals with a glass paint. I was able to show great detail with this technique.

The panel is a perfect 16 1/4" round. It has two hangers that have been soldered into the zinc frame for hanging.

I have a bumble bee just for your window.

They are so cute!

I made them with a very, very bright yellow art glass by bullseye. The wings are made with a glass that looks just like the texture of insect wings. I painted the black stripes on them with glass paint and cured it in the oven. I then added wire for detail.

The bumble bee measures 6 3/4" wide by 5" high. Each bee comes with a large suction cup for hanging in your favorite window.

These vintage postage stamps are a beautiful shade of orange and they are 10 cents.

These earrings are so cool! The stamps are from the early 1950s. There are four postage stamps used for the set of earrings. One for the front and back. The stamps were place between two pieces of clear glass, copperfoiled and soldered with a lead free solder. All other components are sterling silver. The earrings measure 1" X 1".

This pendant was inspired by the vintage look of an era gone by.

I just love a touch of filigree to any piece of jewelry. However I updated this pendant with a bright lime green art glass.

Each pendant was hand cut by me. I then applied the filigree on top to give it that vintage feel. Each pendant is soldered with lead free solder, cleaned and polished to a bright finish.

This is simply stunning.

It is constructed in all clear textured glass. (These photos do not do this piece justice).

I used five different clear glass textures. Each piece of glass was hand cut and ground for the perfect fit. Then each piece was copperfoiled and then soldered. I also used 10 different sizes of irridesent glass orbs for detail. For additional embelishment I added wire detailing to the butterfly's body. The solder finish is a copper patina.

The butterfly measures 13 1/2" high and 20" across. It has two built in wire hangers for hanging.

These are fused glass candy cane Christmas Ornaments. I made these out of red and white Bullseye glass. I cut out each candy cane with a glass saw and then I hand cut the red stripes. I then fused them in my kiln.

They are so adorable and would look just perfect on anyones Christmas tree.

Each candy cane measures 4 1/2" long by 2" at the wides part. They have a small metal loop that has been fired in with the glass to attach your hanger.

This pendant was made with two vintage postage stamps that I found in my great aunts estate. She apparently saved every stamp that she ever received. lol

One side is an .06 cent stamp (Grandma Moses painting) and for the other side I choose another stamp that I thought would be related to the first side and it is a .05 cent stamp that has (Modern Art painting). I think they complement each other.

This is an original design of mine that I used in some large transoms for a custom built home. I loved the classic grape motif so much that I decided to make it into a large window panel.

Each piece was handcut and the edges ground for that perfect fit. Then I applied copper foil and hand wrapped each piece before soldering.

This particular panel was a little labor intensive because of all the pieces. The leaves were cut in such a way that the grain of the leaf looks as if it grew that way. I also added some wire embelishment for the vine work. This class motif turned out beautiful and was well worth the time I spent on it.

The panel is a perfect 16 1/4" round. It has two hangers that have been soldered into the zinc frame for hanging.

This is a beautiful handpainted pendant in oil paints.

I went back to my artistic roots when I decided to make these pendants. My artistic training begain in oil painting when I was only 10 years old. I painted professionally for many years until I found the love of stained glass. Now I want to incorporate the two wonderful mediums together and this is what I came up with.

Each pendant has been handcut out of clear glass and then I have handpainted, with great detail a beautiful flower that has been inspired by nature. I used the copperfoil technique to sandwich the painting between the glass to protect the painting itself. Each pendant measures 1 1/4" round.

This bowl required three firings in my kiln. After careful planning and several test firings. My poppy creation turned out perfect.

This beautiful ginko pendant is made with art glass using the copperfoil technique. Each pendant is unique and different. No two will ever be alike. The design for each pendant is done freehand by me. I then solder each one with leadfree solder and I add wire for detailing.

"Natures Elegance Captured In Art Glass"

This is another one of my most recent works of art. This is my original design. It's a stained glass panel of beautiful pansies.

I tried to use traditional pansy colors of art glass. The purple and the yellow are both by Spectrum. The back ground is clear waterglass also by Specturm. It really set off the pansies. I have added a touch of detail to the center of the pansies by painting the petals with a black glass paint to give them depth.

This panel would add a touch of elegance to any home decor.

The panel measures 16 1/2" high by 16 1/2" wide. I have soldered two heavy eye hooks into the frame for hanging.

They are made with filigree and art glass. I put them together using the Tiffany technique of stained glass. They measure 1" teardrop shape.

This pendant was made with two vintage postage stamps that I found in my great aunts estate. She apparently saved every stamp that she ever received. lol

One side is an .08 cent stamp of Emily Dickerson and for the other side I choose another stamp that I thought would be related to the first side and it is a .08 cent stamp that has Sidney Lanier. They are both great American poets and they complement each other.

This pendant measures 1 3/4" X 1 1/4". It can be worn on either side. It is sold with a blace leather cord.

Each pendant was hand cut by me. I then applied the filigree on top to give it that vintage feel. Each pendant is soldered with lead free solder, cleaned and polished to a bright finish.

Beautiful Stained Glass Cross (Blues)

This is a beautiful stained glass cross and I have sold many at the craft fairs and craft shows that I attend through out the year.

The photo's really do not do the cross justice. However, I have tried to capture it's classic beauty.

This cross is made with several shades of blue art glass. The darkest of blue is almost a royal purple and its breathtaking in the sunlight. I fabricated the cross by using the copperfoil technique. However the surrounding edges of the cross is capped with a small zinc. This is to prevent the cross from loosing its shape because it is so large. Last but not least I polish the design with a glass compound that brings it to a brillant shinning finish.

I take great care in everything I make and I want to make sure that each customer is receiving a wonderfully handcrafted item by me, CDChilds.

The cross meausres 18" X 12 5/8" X 3 1/4"

That is 18" high, 12 5/8" at the cross point and 3 1/4" wide.

Vintage Theater Seat Tag Bracelet No 52

This is a wonderful bracelet that I have constructed with a vintage theater seat tag. The number tag was used on the back of theater seats, each chair had a different number. The tag is made of solid brass.

I added some deep blue turquoise beads and I used fire polished seed beads for the spacers. For embelishment I used a silver chain and a silver leaf charm.

All other jewelry finding are sterling silver.

This bracelet measures 7 1/2" long.

This pendant was made from one of my favorite plates. I accidently broke it and I hated for it to go to waste. So I decided that I would make something with it and I came up with these great heart shaped pendants.

I hand cut the crockery plate and I ground each piece into a perfect heart shape. I copperfoiled it and then I attached a bail with solder. I decided to add a touch of detail, so I attached a another small heart.
