This pendant, created out of FUSED GLASS has a real sublime and stylish look to it. IT's base colors, a teal & purple look splendid, but it's the light purple kick of DICHROIC glass that sets this one apart form the others. It's a contemporary look that is timeless and simple. It was made inside a glass kiln.

I consider it one of my more podern pieces. I've signed the back to ensure that I approve of the craftsmanship and design of the glass.

This pendant was made by slicing off a small section of copper foil tape and sandwiching it in between pieces of fusable glass. The glass was taken into a kiln and heated to a point where it all fused into one solid piece.

It's a simple pendant, but when looking a bit more deeply into it, the real oomph of this piece comes to life.

Lime Green Pendant with Glittery Bang from Dichroic Glass

This Pendant, made of fused glass, will have them looking at your pendant and looking again at it because it is just so darn interesting to look at.

A lime green glass background is the foundation. Next, greenish Dichroic Glass, which packs the punch, is placed on top of the base color. Then, more of the lime green glass is set on top of all of it to give it a retro look while also looking shiny and brand new looking.

All of the glass layers are placed in a kiln which heats the glass to a temperature that melts all layers of glass together, thereby Fusing them into one piece.

Very contemporary and simple.

It's autumn look comes from combining different pieces of glass together, then heating all of it in a glass kiln, resulting in all the pieces melting onto one another - fusing itself together.

This fused glass pendant is interesting... it looks like it came right out of a science fiction movie of the 50's. It was made by stacking a few pieces of glass on top of one another and setting the glass stack inside a kiln. I turned the kiln to 1500º and thought the end piece was very cool!

A piece of dichroic glass acts as the base and if you know anything about dichroic, a photo doesn't do justice to it. Needless to say, it glistens like a mound of gems.

Abstract Snowflake Seder Plate

This Seder Plate, made up of pieces of fusible, compatible glass takes on the appearance of an abstract snowflake... in my opinion.

Unlike most Seder Plates, this glass piece of art is void of the common Hebrew words that adorn other's. There ARE 6 distinct sections of the plate for the traditional Seder Plate objects, but they are more subtle and this entire plate is more subtle than most other Seder Plates. This is not your typical "Judaica"... this is for a more contemporary Jewish family.

What gives this plate the extra kick that it richly displays is an irriedscent shine that shimmers under light... and an added ingredient of thin copper wires that are sandwiched between pieces of glass that are certain to fetch you many compliments.

The photos don't do it justice, as usual.

This pendant, inspired by President Barack Obama's slogan, "Yes We Can" was made out of fused glass and is certainly going to get people talking to you. It's a conversation starter, I assure you.

I created this pendant by stacking a few layers of glass on top of one another and laid a ceramic decal in between the layers of glass. Being ceramic, the intense heat of my kiln (1500º) left the image burned permanently on the glass.

This Glass plate, fused & slumped inside a Glass kiln has Retro on the mind.

With a background of blue glass and an overlay of white googie-inspired shapes, this plate is the perfect place to keep your keys, sunglasses, coins, watch, etc. in a stylish place without losing them. It measures about 7" x 12".

The white shapes, thin glass rods, were individually shaped over an open flame and bent to to desired shape. Once they were completed, they were placed atop the blue base and full fused in the kiln, melting them permanently into the plate. Secondly, they were then slumped into the shape you see.

This would be the absolute perfect gift for a friend with a sensibility towards all things Retro.

This Fused Glass Pendant is comprised of stacking various pieces of glass on top of one another and placing them into a kiln, cooking all the glass pieces, taking it to a temp of MELT! I added a touch of enamel to give it the CORAL design.

This glass pendant was created by placing a few pieces of fusable glass on top of one another and placing it in a kiln. The temp was taken to an insane 1500º when all the glass melted into itself, thereby creating this fused piece.

I love the simplicity of it and I think it's right on target with women that are "eco-friendly" and environmentally conscious.

This plate, measuring roughly 7" x 12", was comprised by stacking various pieces of transparent, tinted glass upon one another and heating the glass in a kiln. A flat piece of glass emerged out of the kiln and then the purple "plate" was placed on a slumping mold and the kiln was heated again. The heat generated caused the glass to fall into the shape of the mold ending in a beautiful and gracefully shaped plate.

I think this is a stunning plate that will add a bit more style to your house or it could be just perfect for that friend that seems to have everything.

This pendant has spent seversl sessions in the glass kiln. First, it was during the initial period that swirled and mixed the colors to look almost creamy. The second time, the swirly pieces, cut into pendant sized section were heated to a temperature that smoothed out the pendant making it perfectly smooth. The resulting piece is very contemporary & organic. I'm proud of this one.
