This was inspired by confections and love of sweets, and the muses.

I began thinking of delicious treats such as petit four miniature cakes and colors of french macarons and also the play on the word "a-muse". The muses are the goddesses or spirits who inspire the creation of literature and the arts.

The composition begins with vanilla and strawberry and dries down to light milky musk and light floral notes-very feminine.
A gourmand, confectionery fragrance without being cloying-
a sweetheart that's not overbearing.

Theme Fragrance just released two new scents - Mantra and Song. I had the opportunity to try both of these, plus their best-selling Sarong scent, too.

Theme Fragrances are meant to flatter the individual’s own style. You can layer them to create something unique or wear them on their own. They come in a solid perfume or a roll-on oil, both are the perfect size to slip into your purse, pocket, or makeup bag.

Mantra, a “sensuous honeyed musk,” also carries notes of spring florals. It has a powdery scent and it’s now my new favorite. This is a soft, romantic musk - I keep sniffing my arm, where I applied it. It’s very nice and only $7.50 if you purchase it from the Theme Fragrance shop, at Etsy.com. (They are going to be carrying it at their main Theme Fragrance shop, very soon)

Song is a “breath of green, and tuberose, and woods.” It’s a definite floral scent, but it’s not your mother’s floral - it’s fresh and zingy. My daughter snagged it immediately. (She’s always doing that to me). Both Mantra and Song ship in Theme Fragrance’s signature travel box.

The Mantra and Song samples were roll-on oils, but the Sarong came in a solid, like a little pot of lip balm. The strongest fragrance note was the coconut, but it also carries vanilla and “night-blooming flowers.” The scent was so familiar to me, but I couldn’t think of why. Then, it occurred to me that it smells like Summer. It has a youthfulness to it. The perfect fragrance to wear with a sundress and a tan.

Both oil and solid disappear into your skin - no sticky mess - leaving behind only scent.

I love a good DIY item. Don’t get me wrong, I think Sephora is heaven and have no problem buying a mega million-dollar brand. But finding homemade soaps at a farmers market, prepared by the woman behind the table-love it! Theme Fragrance definitely plays up to my homespun side.

But I have to say I identified most with the fragrance she sent us, Sarong- a blend of luscious creme de coconut, white vanilla sand, and night blooming flowers. And if you don’t see yourself on an island with a flower behind your ear, you need to have your nose checked! If you like tropical scents, you may have just met your favorite.

Theme Fragrances are available at boutiques all over New York but for those of us not in the big apple you can get them through etsy.com. And if you’ve never spent anytime on that site, and have a DIY affection like me, be prepared to be amazed. Art, beauty, accessories, clothing, paper goods-it’s thousands upon thousands of stores of handmade items by sisters doing it for themselves!

This was inspired by confections and love of sweets, and the muses.

I began thinking of delicious treats such as petit four miniature cakes and colors of french macarons and also the play on the word "a-muse". The muses are the goddesses or spirits who inspire the creation of literature and the arts.

The composition begins with vanilla and strawberry and dries down to light milky musk and light floral notes-very feminine.
A gourmand, confectionery fragrance without being cloying-

Rose has to be one of the most famous (and oldest!) fragrance notes of all time. The scent of rose evokes old-time romance- you know, the kind you see in old black and white movies where the woman always looks stunning, even in her boudoir, where the man brings chocolate and- duh- roses, where there are violins playing behind every kiss, and there are, of course, love letters written on beautiful, scented stationary. However, there are times when rose can feel a little outdated in our whirlwind electronic world.

Theme Fragrance’s Love Letter is a fabulous update on a very, very classic fragrance. Rather than being straight rose with other florals, Theme mixes it with unlikely topnotes. Theme Fragrance just released two new scents - Mantra and Song. I had the opportunity to try both of these, plus their best-selling Sarong scent, too.

Theme Fragrances are meant to flatter the individual’s own style. You can layer them to create something unique or wear them on their own. They come in a solid perfume or a roll-on oil, both are the perfect size to slip into your purse, pocket, or makeup bag.

Mantra, a “sensuous honeyed musk,” also carries notes of spring florals. It has a powdery scent and it’s now my new favorite. This is a soft, romantic musk - I keep sniffing my arm, where I applied it. It’s very nice and only $7.50 if you purchase it from the Theme Fragrance shop, at Etsy.com. (They are going to be carrying it at their main Theme Fragrance shop, very soon)

Song is a “breath of green, and tuberose, and woods.” It’s a definite floral scent, but it’s not your mother’s floral - it’s fresh and zingy. My daughter snagged it immediately. (She’s always doing that to me). Both Mantra and Song ship in Theme Fragrance’s signature travel box.

The Mantra and Song samples were roll-on oils, but the Sarong came in a solid, like a little pot of lip balm. The strongest fragrance note was the coconut, but it also carries vanilla and “night-blooming flowers.” The scent was so familiar to me, but I couldn’t think of why. Then, it occurred to me that it smells like Summer. It has a youthfulness to it. The perfect fragrance to wear with a sundress and a tan.

Both oil and solid disappear into your skin - no sticky mess - leaving behind only scent.

Rose has to be one of the most famous (and oldest!) fragrance notes of all time. The scent of rose evokes old-time romance- you know, the kind you see in old black and white movies where the woman always looks stunning, even in her boudoir, where the man brings chocolate and- duh- roses, where there are violins playing behind every kiss, and there are, of course, love letters written on beautiful, scented stationary. However, there are times when rose can feel a little outdated in our whirlwind electronic world.

Theme Fragrance’s Love Letter is a fabulous update on a very, very classic fragrance. Rather than being straight rose with other florals, Theme mixes it with unlikely topnotes. When it first hit my nose, I was shocked- I wholly expected it to be very romantic and flowery, but instead, there are almost citrusy-fruity topnotes that quickly blend nicely with the middle note of rose.

I love a good DIY item. Don’t get me wrong, I think Sephora is heaven and have no problem buying a mega million-dollar brand. But finding homemade soaps at a farmers market, prepared by the woman behind the table-love it! Theme Fragrance definitely plays up to my homespun side.

But I have to say I identified most with the fragrance she sent us, Sarong- a blend of luscious creme de coconut, white vanilla sand, and night blooming flowers. And if you don’t see yourself on an island with a flower behind your ear, you need to have your nose checked! If you like tropical scents, you may have just met your favorite.

As if the fragrances themselves are not enough reason to buy, there’s the price. These totally adorable and easily portable perfume roll-ons are under 10 bucks. You can get her whole line with prices like that and transport yourself to a different location almost every day of the week!

Theme Fragrances are available at boutiques all over New York but for those of us not in the big apple you can get them through etsy.com. And if you’ve never spent anytime on that site, and have a DIY affection like me, be prepared to be amazed. Art, beauty, accessories, clothing, paper goods-it’s thousands upon thousands of stores of handmade items by sisters doing it for themselves!

Theme Fragrance just released two new scents - Mantra and Song. I had the opportunity to try both of these, plus their best-selling Sarong scent, too.

Theme Fragrances are meant to flatter the individual’s own style. You can layer them to create something unique or wear them on their own. They come in a solid perfume or a roll-on oil, both are the perfect size to slip into your purse, pocket, or makeup bag.

Mantra, a “sensuous honeyed musk,” also carries notes of spring florals. It has a powdery scent and it’s now my new favorite. This is a soft, romantic musk - I keep sniffing my arm, where I applied it. It’s very nice and only $7.50 if you purchase it from the Theme Fragrance shop, at Etsy.com. (They are going to be carrying it at their main Theme Fragrance shop, very soon)

Song is a “breath of green, and tuberose, and woods.” It’s a definite floral scent, but it’s not your mother’s floral - it’s fresh and zingy. My daughter snagged it immediately. (She’s always doing that to me). Both Mantra and Song ship in Theme Fragrance’s signature travel box.

The Mantra and Song samples were roll-on oils, but the Sarong came in a solid, like a little pot of lip balm. The strongest fragrance note was the coconut, but it also carries vanilla and “night-blooming flowers.” The scent was so familiar to me, but I couldn’t think of why. Then, it occurred to me that it smells like Summer. It has a youthfulness to it. The perfect fragrance to wear with a sundress and a tan.

Both oil and solid disappear into your skin - no sticky mess - leaving behind only scent.

The Associated Press report that grapefruit makes women appear younger.

A study by the Smell and Taste Institute in Chicago was conducted to determine what makes a women smell young. Institute director Dr. Alan Hirsch reportedly smeared several middle-aged woman subjects with broccoli, banana, spearmint leaves, lavender and grapefruit.

Hand poured original scents made by Elizabeth Morrison, a Rhode Island School of Design grad and self-proclaimed “scenthound and photomaven”. Theme Fragrance just released two new scents - Mantra and Song. I had the opportunity to try both of these, plus their best-selling Sarong scent, too.

Theme Fragrances are meant to flatter the individual’s own style. You can layer them to create something unique or wear them on their own. They come in a solid perfume or a roll-on oil, both are the perfect size to slip into your purse, pocket, or makeup bag.

Mantra, a “sensuous honeyed musk,” also carries notes of spring florals. It has a powdery scent and it’s now my new favorite. This is a soft, romantic musk - I keep sniffing my arm, where I applied it. It’s very nice and only $7.50 if you purchase it from the Theme Fragrance shop, at Etsy.com. (They are going to be carrying it at their main Theme Fragrance shop, very soon)

Song is a “breath of green, and tuberose, and woods.” It’s a definite floral scent, but it’s not your mother’s floral - it’s fresh and zingy. My daughter snagged it immediately. (She’s always doing that to me). Both Mantra and Song ship in Theme Fragrance’s signature travel box.

The Mantra and Song samples were roll-on oils, but the Sarong came in a solid, like a little pot of lip balm. The strongest fragrance note was the coconut, but it also carries vanilla and “night-blooming flowers.” The scent was so familiar to me, but I couldn’t think of why. Then, it occurred to me that it smells like Summer. It has a youthfulness to it. The perfect fragrance to wear with a sundress and a tan.

Both oil and solid disappear into your skin - no sticky mess - leaving behind only scent.
