the lovely marylou, of "time2cre8" on etsy cleaned all of these alice in wonderland images up, picked and chose the best ones, and graciously allowed me to use them in my photo transparent jewelry! she rules.

so here's the famous alice liddell, with her "drink me" tag. whoever thought lewis carroll was not on drugs when he wrote this story is obviously out of their minds. but hey, it makes for a cool necklace, right? i always wondered what was in that little bottle that made her plummet down the rabbit hole into crazytown.

each little necklace is hand colored, so there may be some variations on the colors.

the resin is hand cast by me, and after it cures, i hand sand, polish, buff, and finish it off with a high gloss shine.

silver, moon, resin - necklace

Exactly what it says. A silver finding with some holes in it, which looks just like the moon. I backed it with some black paper, and then coated both sides with an absolutely waterproof hand cast resin.

You can wear it in the shower, but I would suggest taking it off, because resin can get cloudy over time.

The pendant hangs from a really sturdy blackened silver oxidized jump ring, and is finished off with a really shiny, sleek, 18" silver plated, nickel free snake chain.

I only have 2 of these available, and each is just a little different from the other. I love them.

Big piece. Measures 1.75" in diameter.

this lovely resin filled swallow depicts a vintage map of chicago, illinois far beneath her. show your love for birds, sparrows, swallows, the windy city, and the lovely, cold midwest.

resin is hand cast by me, then carefully poured into the swallow with the map as a backing. the map on both sides is waterproof (the other side is not meant to be worn though)

the lobster claw clasp attaches to the front of the swallow to make it easy to take your necklace on and off.

everything is made of an antiqued brass--with an aged patina.

As you can see, I found a bunch of these vintage clue pieces, and have fabricated them into wearables. I have no idea what these pieces are made from, or what era they came from, but I think they are all pewter, as when I drilled through them, there was no coppery or nickel type residue.

That being said, wear at your own risk.

So, you have a choice: vintage annie get your gun style revolover, or the badass newer gun. If I knew more about guns, I may be able to tell you what caliber they would be.

The old school guns measure about 1.25" in length, and the bigger gins, are like 1,75"...pretty bold.

I've wrassled with both depression and anxiety for over 6 years now. This little necklace, reminds me that the thing that plagues me is but a tiny molecule. Hmm, that could depress me more. Fie on you, Serotonin!

i love this brushed silver (reversible!) tag. one side of the tag is smooth, while the other (see the last picture) is ridged and textured. you can choose which side you like best.

this cut out little goose is ready to fly onto your neck.

to add to the charm of this lovely necklace, there is 1 small pale blue czech teardrop (raindrop?) bead on one side of the tag, while a little silver leaf hangs delicately on the other side to give it a nice modern flair.

really really modern, simple, elegant.

Okay, so I know. Resinated pussy willows? I like them. The idea came to me while I was again, on a run during this past week. seeing the ice frozen onto these lovely furry branches spurred an idea--wouldn't pouring clear resin make these branches look frozen?

Answer: It sure does.

Result? Completely one of a kind necklace for someone who really wants to make a statement.

The wire wrapped, resin dipped pussy willows are connected to an oxidized brass curb link chain necklace, along with sturdy brass toggle clasp closures.

There are two size options. The one I am wearing in the last picture measures about 2.5" long, while the other hangs down 3" from the branch.

Totally one of a kind.

So, I found this metal finding, with these holes in it. I thought, hmmm, this looks like a moon, but it certainly is missing some white had cast resin in those little holes. SO what did I do? I filled the holes with white resin.

In addition, the entire back of the thick metal piece is covered with white. You can almost wear it either way.

If you secretly love twilight, this would be the necklace for you. Labor Intensive, trust me.

On the pendant itself, there are hints of copper hues, dark oxidation, and silver throughout the piece.

...and I should mention, its HUGE! This piece measures about 2" around and is very heavy. It is hung on a 16" thick pewter chain, and secured with a silver toggle clasp.

I have 2 of these, and that is it. Pick it up before it's gone!

this lovely silvered metal swallow/sparrow/dove pendant is super sturdy. Seriously, the metal is extremely firm, and will not bend. Try it, I dare you! :)

silver pendant is oxidized, which gives it the flecks of black. very strong, sturdy, and will last forever.

the pendant is then hung on a lovely dleek, silver-plated snake chain that closes with a lobster claw clasp.

I had a Baltic amber pendant that fell out of it's setting, and I was slightly saddened. So, I drilled a hole in it, wire wrapped it in a really nice oxidized brass wire, hung it on the same oxidized curb link (18") chain. It's HUGE. Seriously, the Baltic amber itself measures over 1.5" long.

So pretty.

The toggle is a matching oxidized brass screw in thing.

This seemed appropriate considering the fact that Bella couldn't get over the loss of Edward in the second book, "New Moon." Dude, you're 16 years old, there will be other boys, you twit. Anyhoo.

I had this .925 sterling silver bezel lying around. It once held an amber stone, but sadly, it cracked. I kept looking at the silver shell wondering if I could possibly refurbish it into a really unique resin piece.

...and I believe I did!

Inside the sterling silver bezel (the top swings back and forth, which makes it kinetic and fun to play with while you are wearing it) is hand cast resin with acrylic swirls of emerald green and citrine yellow all throughout. So clear, so cool, so unique.

One of a kind.

This hangs on a steel cable chain which has a magnetic clasp, making it very easy to take it on and off.

The bezel itself measures about 1.25" at the longest.

You will find absolutely nothing like this anywhere else.

the lovely marylou, of "time2cre8" on etsy cleaned all of these alice in wonderland images up, picked and chose the best ones, and graciously allowed me to use them in my photo transparent jewelry! she rules.

so here's the famous mad hatter, being, well, mad. whoever thought lewis carroll was not on drugs when he wrote this story is obviously out of their minds. but hey, it makes for a cool necklace, right? i always wondered what was in that little bottle that made her plummet down the rabbit hole into crazytown.

each little necklace is hand colored, so there may be some variations on the colors.

the resin is hand cast by me, and after it cured, i hand sand, polish, buff, and finish it off with a high gloss shine.

2 green leaf necklaces - FOR JASON - hand cast, resin filled

This necklace was a labor of love. Or hatred? I have no idea. What I do know is that I spent countless days on this piece, which perhaps might nit be visible.

Anyway, this antiqued 2.5" black brass leaf is filled with a hand coloreed crystal clear green resin. If you look at it in the light, you can see many different dimensions.

I hand sanded the hell out of this thing. Please buy it. For real, I don't think I can look at it anymore. Ha.

The pendant was then drilled and hand wire wrapped with matching black aged brass wire, and hung on a sturdy matching aged brass curb link chain, with a screw clasp.

The necklace is 20" in length.

the lovely marylou, of "time2create" on etsy cleaned all of these alice in wonderland images up, picked and chose the best ones, and graciously allowed me to use them in my photo transparent jewelry! she rules.

so here's the famous alice liddell, with her "drink me" tag. whoever thought lewis carroll was not on drugs when he wrote this story is obviously out of their minds. but hey, it makes for a cool necklace, right? i always wondered what was in that little bottle that made her plummet down the rabbit hole into crazytown.

each little necklace is hand colored, so there may be some variations on the colors.

the resin is hand cast by me, and after it cured, i hand sand, polish, buff, and finish it off with a high gloss shine.

Viva Las Vegas! I've never been, but I'd like to. Maybe when I rake in the dough on etsy. Home of Reno and the city of sin.

This one is for Ana's family, the Peterson's! Hawaii--A state I have never been to, but would love to visit. Especially since it's like -136 degrees in Chicago right now.

You know how Sufjan Stevens said he was going to write an album for every state, but has only gotten through like, 3 of them so far? I mean, I'm cool with that because he already did my state (drove to Chicago...all things go all things go), but I sort of feel like the 50 states project is heading nowhere.

That being said, I figure, hey, why not do the 50 states in resin? I'll start with the west coast, and work my way east. I figure my project is a bit simpler than Sufjan's, but perhaps this will inspire him to continue on. Doubtful, but still.

Every time I list a new state, I will chronicle my journey through resin with an ongoing list of how many states I've listed. It may take 6 months, it may take a year, it all depends. But I'm determined to make it through the project.

Alabama. I don't know much about Alabama, other than the fact that I love stories written about the south. Especially stories from Faulkner. Although no one really knows where his made up county actually was, right? And it has lots of syllables. Was it even in Alabama? Anyway, I know that Montgomery is in Alabama. Perhaps you know more about this state and would like to espouse its awesomeness so that Sufjan can write about it.

You know how Sufjan Stevens said he was going to write an album for every state, but has only gotten through like, 3 of them so far? I mean, I'm cool with that because he already did my state (drove to Chicago...all things go all things go), but I sort of feel like the 50 states project is heading nowhere.

That being said, I figure, hey, why not do the 50 states in resin? I'll start with the west coast, and work my way east. I figure my project is a bit simpler than Sufjan's, but perhaps this will inspire him to continue on. Doubtful, but still.

Every time I list a new state, I will chronicle my journey through resin with an ongoing list of how many states I've listed. It may take 6 months, it may take a year, it all depends. But I'm determined to make it through the project.

As you can see, I found a bunch of these vintage clue pieces, and have fabricated them into wearables. I have no idea what these pieces are made from, or what era they came from, but I think they are all pewter, as when I drilled through them, there was no coppery or nickel type residue.

That being said, wear at your own risk.

So, most of these pieces are about 1.5" long, though they vary, as that's how vintage works. You know the deal.
