The splotches in this adorable heart are the color of blue whale candy. (And I'm hungry right now) That's what this borosilicate heart pendant is all about. And to complete the green theme, the heart is suspended on a royal blue 17ish inch steel cable choker. A point to note is that because of borosilicate’s color dimensions, camera and monitor setting differences, the colors may look slightly different than what is seen in the photo.

The heart measures just over 1 1/2 inches long from top of the loop to the tip and 1 inch in width.

This heart boasts of being gorgeous. On a background of creamy yellows are splashes of greens, reds and dark blue. A point to note is that because of borosilicate’s color dimensions, camera and monitor setting differences, the colors may look slightly different than what is seen in the photo.

Seated on a background of light cobalt blue is a beautiful "coral flower" of bright orange and yellow. When I look at a riverbed there is always neat stuff to find and to see. That's what occurred to me when I looked at this pen as there was something new just about every time I looked at it.

On a bed of dark ivory lies dots of blues, greens, white, reds, and blacks. This very pretty pen that would be a great addition to pen collector's stash. Each pen is either signed by me or includes my signature cane in the artwork.

Let me introduce you to the Skookum Pen. "Skookum" is a Chinook word meaning "good", "hard", and "strong", which describes both the craftsmanship and mechanics of the Skookum pen.

First the craftsmanship. Each pen's weight is equally balanced and not top-heavy because the lampworked glass beads extend the entire length of the pen. This also gives the Skookum pen an elegant and streamlined look. Each Skookum pen is handmade and unique in design therefore no two pens will be exactly alike. The lampworked beads are kiln annealed to allow for proper cooling of the glass and to prevent spontaneous cracking. Note: annealing does not prevent breakage from bouncing the pen (or any glass bead) off of a hard surface, such as a concrete floor.

Now for the internal mechanics. The internal components of the Skookum pen consists of brass and steel. The refill for the Skookum pen is a standard Cross refill that is available at local stationary stores in blue, black, and red inks. Black ink is the standard ink for the Skookum pen.

Because of the detailed craftsmanship and solid internal mechanism of the Skookum pen, there is a very unique feel and smooth writing experience when using the pen. This pendant, with its balls of clear, reminded me of a button down shirt. However the pendant boasts stripey dots of red, white and black, so the word "shirt" didn't fit. However I thought "tiger" does and hence the name, Button Down Tiger.

The bail loop on this pendant is large enough to fit a corded necklace and would suspect to be large enough to fit an omega chain. The chain seen in the photo is 18 inches long, 1/4 inch wide and consists of base metal. A point to note is that because of borosilicate’s color dimensions, camera and monitor setting differences, the colors may look slightly different than what is seen in the photo.

The pendant measures 2 inches long from top of the loop to the tip and measures 1 inch in diameter.

Rhodium Snake Chain - 16 Inch - Intuibead

What a way to complement a dazzling pendant or focal bead than to thread it onto a rhodium snake chain. Rhodium looks slightly different from sterling silver and it does have the benefit of not tarnishing. Plus, rhodium is cheaper than sterling silver. As for the snake style of chain, I absolutely love these chains as they have a beautiful smooth feel, elegant look and are luxurious to wear.

This type of borosilicate pendant is called an implosion pendant because the interior is imploded. Seated on a background of light green is a "flower" of bright coral color. Beside the bright coral is a dark, almost midnight color of blue giving an almost shadow appearance to the coral color. Iced Ruby - Intuibead - Lampwork Borosilicate Earrings (SRA)

These cute little pirouette-style earrings consist of sterling silver earwires, clear Swarovski AB crystals, and dark red color borosilicate handmade Lampwork beads. Because of the nature of the handmade Lampwork beads, the beads may vary slightly between earrings.

Length of the earrings, from the top of the earwire, are 1 1/2 inches and the caramel disc is just about 1/2 inch in diameter.

The vast majority of my earrings are made with borosilicate glass. Because of borosilicate’s color dimensions, the colors may look slightly different than what is seen in the photo.

All of my beads are kiln annealed to allow the glass to cool evenly and properly and to prevent spontaneous cracking. Note that kiln annealing does not prevent damage or breakage due to rough handling and bouncing the earrings off of a concrete floor.

Amber and Raspberry - Intuibead- Lampwork Earrings- (SRA)

These cute little pirouette-style earrings consist of sterling silver earwires, amber color crystals, raspberry color borosilicate handmade Lampwork beads, copper discs, and aluminum rings. Because of the nature of the handmade Lampwork beads, the beads may vary slightly between earrings.

Length of the earrings, from the top of the earwire, are 1 ¾ inches and the raspberry disc is just about ¾ inches in diameter.

Green River - Intuibead - Lampwork Skookum Pen (SRA)

This pen really has a river of green meandering its way to, fro and over the pen. If you look closely you will see a darker river of green in the middle of the green river. That is caused by the reaction of the "petroleum green" color that I used with the ivory glass. The brown feathery shoreline is also a result of the reaction of the petroleum green with the ivory. I will mention that "petroleum" is a color, not a content.

Dark amethyst with dots of opaque yellow and blue. My first thought was grape and the dots look like seeds so I came up with the name of grape nuts for this pen. This pen is a little different in that its shape is wavy and fits very nicely into the hand. This very pretty pen that would be a great addition to pen collector's stash.
