Hook and loop allows for quick attachment and speedy removal and they fold compactly to be stored in your bag when not in use. Reversible and machine quilted for beauty and stability, they are completely washable and sold in pairs so they can be used on rotation.

This costume is not currently made. At this time a poochie costume may take up to 2 weeks to make. I will need measurements for your pooch. (PRICE VARIES ACCORDING TO SIZE. This price valid up to 16" spine, add $3.00 for every 4 inches of length beyond that.) Then you can choose the colors or any variation of this type of costume. It features a stuffed carapace, head, feet, and tail made of poly/cotton fibers. The body or "skin" is made from a soft cotton knit to allow stretch to fit over the animal's body, and is detailed with stitching to imitate the plastron.

This costume earned blackdogrunning the Grand Prize in a local pet costume contest in October, 2008!!

Washing: I recommend washing in a very light and gentle cycle, if spot cleaning and hand washing seem like too dreadful a task. Hand wash is however, preferred. Squeeze as much water as possible out by pressing the shell flat. Reshape and lay flat to dry. DO NOT WRING. The fibers themselves will accept as much as very warm water and a good detergent. Rinse in cold water.

This beautiful sunbonnet is so gentle, cool, and shady. It features a substantial brim that prettily shades the entire face and head. There is plenty of ribbon and room to tuck hair up underneath to keep it clean and free of things while playing or helping around outside.

The 100% cotton print details flowing floral sprays in easy shades of green and highlights of white over a cool white background. The sunbonnet is washable in your automatic washer along with your regular light loads in cool water. Use only non-chlorine bleach and no softener. Tumble dry low without softener and remove promptly or drip dry. Use a hot steam iron if necessary.

Adjustable Sling Baby/Toddler Carrier, Gentle Rain

Worn on the right shoulder*, simply thread the fabric through the double stainless steel rings and adjust as necessary. Slip baby into the cradle in any of a number of comfortable positions; laying down, sitting up, toward you, to the side, facing the world, on the hip, or on the back. It adjusts easily to take baby from a sitting up to lying down position. I will include some instructions that I wrote and illustrated myself.

*This may be made for the left shoulder at no extra cost.

The fabric looks nearly the same front and back, so you will not need to twist the fabric in order for the right side to show. This is important because twisting the fabric causes discomfort and reduces the ease of adjustability.

The sling also features a shoulder cap to distribute the weight of the child from off of the top of the shoulder, to more evenly across the back.

The rings are made of stainless STEEL for security and durable beauty.

All weight bearing seams are double stitched.

The carrier folds quite compactly to be stored in a corner of your child's bag when not in use.

I look for the best prices for my materials to keep my costs low. This wrap is sturdily made. Weight bearing seams are double-stitched for reinforcement.

This fabric is a 100% cotton twill poplin. It may be washed in cool water and dried on a low temperature. It will probably need a hot steam iron.

The nursing mother may do so privately covered by the extension of fabric and there is plenty of length here to fit around Dad's broad shoulders. The carrier is cut long to accomodate most men. If you need it shorter, send me a note with your order.

This is another fuss-free, sturdy fabric in a tiny red and black houndstooth.

Fully adjustable and worn on the right shoulder, simply thread the length of fabric through the double stainless STEEL loops. The child may be held in a number of comfortable positions, becoming QUICKLY contented, while you continue to work. Nursing mothers may do so privately covered with the generous length of remaining fabric.

This sunbonnet features a wide ruffled brim which surrounds the face and long ties which make quick work of securing easily to a fidgety child.

The solid light purple fabric is a 65/35 cotton/poly blend which washes up nicely and is easily cared for. Wash in your regular automatic lighter cycle in moderate temperatures without fabric softener and using only non-chlorine bleach. Tumble dry using moderate heat without a softener. If ironing is needed, please use your polyester setting. A little light steam or spritz is is all that is needed for the wrinkles to fall out.

This sweet little play bonnet is built in solid emerald green and features a wide ruffled visor that prevents the sun from burning tender cheeks and noses, and keeps dirt, dust, and bush things out of pretty locks. Long ties make quick work of securing to a fidgety child.

This size is a medium for ages about 9 months to 2 years. This is the last of this color for now; it is not available in any other size.

The fabric is a 20/80 polyester cotton blend which is very wash and wear. It may be washed in your regular light wash cycle using a moderate temperature, non-chlorine bleach, no fabric softener. Tumble dry in a moderate temperature without softener. If you leave it in the dryer too long, wrinkles just fall out with a moderate iron.

This rag doll measures about 20 inches tall and is made to order in the colors of your choice. You choose hair and eye color as well as the shade of the mouth, and 2 colors for the dress. Available fabrics can be seen at http://GrandmasGirl.com. Most of the fabrics used to make any of the other items in the catalog are available to make a doll's dress.

Included with the doll is one outfit: This style of dress, one full slip, one pair of bloomers, one pair of shoes, one bonnet.

The sash which ties in the back of the dress is removable to change the look and make it less dressy. The slip and drawers can double as pajamas. They may be washed in the automatic washer using cool water and non-chlorine bleach; tumble dry moderate heat.

The doll itself is a simple rag doll with no hidden anatomy. It is stuffed with clean poly fibers. The face is embroidered in a very simple manner. Interior seams are reinforced. Handwash: she can be "bathed" in lukewarm water using a mild detergent and a washcloth in a gentle scrubbing motion. To dry, gently squeeze as much water out as possible, but do not wring. Wrap her in a towel and gently press to allow the towel to soak up more water, then lay flat to dry, periodically pressing water into the towel as it moves downward and turning over to dry evenly.

Additional outfits are available upon request for between $10 and $25. Consider adding pajamas and play clothes as well as a fancier dress or outerwear. Additional dresses and outfits (not pajamas and outerwear) include a fresh set of underclothes. Accessories including but not limited to aprons, necklaces, and hair bands can also be made.
