At last I have in my shop something that men can use too.

This clip style bookmark* was free formed and cold forged from 18G sterling (92.5%) silver wire. It’s light and comfortable to use. It also has better hold, as it is designed with double clip as seen in the pictures. All bookmarks are formed from the same length of silver wire, but being hand formed, the actual bookmark you get may differ very slightly from the one in the pictures.

The size is ~ 2”x1 ½” (50mmx40mm).

This shepherd hook style ‘Magen David’ shaped original* bookmark is the most closely connected to the biblical Kind David, since not only a hexagram shape, the Star of David, came to be associated with King David, but also, according to some archeological evidence, the shepard hook is belived to be the image on the King David's seal.

The bookmark was free formed and cold forged from the heavier 16G sterling silver wire and adorned with beautiful wire-wrapped kyanite bead. Hammered finish on both sides of the bookmark adds sparkle. This type of bookmark is stable in the book and comfortable to use.

The size is ~ 4”x1 ½” (99mm x 38mm).

The frame parts of this original* Lyre of King David, Kinor David, pendant were free shaped and cold forged by hand with hammered finish added for delicate sparkle. I used to wire wrap this pendant.

The harp in the title pictire is wire wrapped with beautiful pearls in hard to find delicate rose color. However, this design is also available with shiny creamy white FW pearl, see last picture. Let me know at the time of purchase what color of pearl you want.

Whimsically looking scroll in the middle of the necklace spells ‘CHAI’ in Hebrew. Chai means ‘alive’ or ‘living”. Organic form of this pendant together with the rich greenish shades of African turquoise* stones represent beauty and complexity of life.

Chai is also a number 18 in Hebrew. Chai pendant can be a wonderful present for the 18th, or the multiples’ of 18, birthday or anniversary.

The centerpiece of this original** necklace was free formed and cold forged by hand from sterling silver wire and African turquoise beads were woven onto the frame. It complemented with the sterling silver chain with the wire-wrapped turquoise beads inserts. Claw clasp and extender chain are added for flexibility.

This is a original OOTK Shofar* pendant necklace. The pendant is slightly twisted to recap beautiful shape of ram’s horn. This organic silhouette lends the pendant its 3D effect.

This original* necklace has the smallest Lyre of David pendant I made so far. It is incorporated into Y-style necklace. The pendant and a delicate cord chain are adorned with variety of the shiny white FW pearls.

I have been living with the idea of the [Rain]Bow in the Cloud piece inspired by Genesis 9:11-17 for some time. It took months to get these hard to find 2mm stone beads for the rainbow – the symbol of life, hope and new beginnings. After making a couple of ‘The Bow in the Cloud’ pendants I started looking for other excuses to feature rainbow in my pendants and so I arrived to this cheerful and uplifting original* Hamesh/Hamsa design. Hamesh, representing according to Kabbalah protective hand of God seems to be a fitting shape to hold a rainbow, that is a sign of God protection, kind of.

The frame is free shaped and cold forged by hand for strength and light sparkle. It’s wire wrapped with tiny beads of coral, jade, citrine, agate, died howlite and aventurine. And that last drop of flood is gently iridescent silvery Russian labradorite teardrop stone.

The pendant is ~ 2 1/2” (63mm) high including bail and dangle and ~ 7/8” (22mm) wide. It is packed in a gift box.

For each of my original* Tree of Life (see Proverbs 3:17-19) designs I choose different tree among those mentioned in the Bible or currently growing in Holy Land. This heavenly tree riding on a whimsical silver cloud is almond tree in bloom design. Almond blossom is pink, and I used very shiny FW pearl in variety of shapes and shades of pink** and rose quartz beads to create lively texture of this design.

I design my tree pendants on paper. I form the pendant’s frame by free hand from sterling silver wire following the sketch and cold forge it for strength with lightly hammered finish applied for delicate sparkle. Variety of beads are woven into the frame free hand and so each tree pendant is unique.

According to Kabbalah Chamesh Hand (Chamsa) amulet represents protective hand of God and as such protects against ‘evil eye’ and brings good luck. Around Mediterranean blue color is believed to also serve the same functions.

The Hand sterling silver charm is bench made by the local WA artist Lois Venarchick. For a necklace I used bold blue stabilized turquoise beads. The beads are wire wrapped and integrated into lightly oxidized and textured sterling silver chain. The necklace is finished with lobster clasp and the 2” long extender chain for flexibility.

Tree of Life - Carob Tree, sterling silver and pearl pendant.

For each of my original Tree of Life (Proverbs 3:17-19) designs I choose a different tree among those mentioned in the Bible or currently growing in Israel.
This pendant is a carob (acacia?) tree as they grow in the wild in Israel – rugged and spreading rather than tall and well rounded. Usually I design my pendants on paper. However, I make some trees according to a photograph of the real trees. This design is my interpretations of the real carob tree that grows in the Negev desert. I used several kind pearl in shades of olive and bronzish greens to create rich color and texture for this pendant.

The size of the pendant is ~ 2 1/4” (56mm) high, and ~ 1 5/8” (40mm) wide. It will arrive to you packed in a gift box.

For each of my original* Tree of Life designs I choose different tree among those mentioned in the Bible or currently growing in Holy Land. This OOAK pendant is cedar of Lebanon tree. Researchers are almost unanimous that cedar of Lebanon was used in the construction of the Solomon’s Temple for the supporting columns.

I design my tree pendants on paper and then form pendant from sterling silver wire and stone beads free hand according to the sketch waving in stone beads. For this design I used rough emerald chips and nuggets that are close in coloring to the evergreen of cedar tree.

The size of this pendant is ~ 3” (79mm) high, including large locket bail and a dangle, and ~ 1 1/4” (32mm) wide. It will arrive to you packed in a gift box.

Woman of Valor, Eshet Hayl, sterling silver, ruby and keishi pearl necklace.

Back for the Mother's Day.

I actually designed this graceful necklace for my mom, who is a true eshet hayl (women of valor). The design is inspired by passage in Proverbs 31, that is frequently quoted as “A women of valor, who can find? Her price is far beyond rubies”. In Hebrew the word used for precious stones is “pninim”, i.e. pearls. In this tribute to the women of valor, I combined rubies with pearls. This way the necklace contains more than rubies and more than pearls.

Cluster of lustrous silvery white keishi pearls hanging together create a whimsical cloud, for a women of valor creates heaven for her loved ones. There are seven gem-keishi pearl dangles, because in Judaism number 7 is considered to be a number of completion, of perfection, of blessing, and a lucky number all together.

The pendant is attached to gently sparkling flat link chain decorated with pearls and finished with claw clasp and 2” long extender chain for flexibility.

Some Bible texts also translate “pninim” as “gems”. So I make this necklace in ruby, sapphire, emerald, or all three together, versions. Please, contact me for special requests.

Ruby is the July, sapphire is the September and emerald is the May birthstone.

The length of the necklace is ~ 17”-19" (43-48cm) and the focal dangle is ~ 1 ¼” (33mm) long. It'll arrive to you packed in a gift box.

New Pomegranate (Rimon Tari) sterling silver and garnet pendant.

This is a new fresh addition to my original* pomegranate** pendants series, just in time for Rosh Ha'Shanah. The pendant was free formed and cold forged by hand and wire wrapped with garnet beads. Lively dangle accent of various garnet stone and sterling silver beads is accented by fresh green of peridot.

Many Biblical researchers believe that garnet stone represented the tribe of Judah (King David was from the tribe of Judah) in the breast plate of the high priest of the Jerusalem Temple. On metaphysical level garnet is the stone of relationships, both personal and professional/business. It’s believed to attract people through bringing out your best qualities. Garnet is also a birthstone of January.

This whimsically looking original* pendant is a letter of Hebrew alphabet – SAMECH. It’s equivalent of the letter ‘S’ as in Samantha, or Sandra etc (not for Sarah, that is a Hebrew name that is written with letter SHIN/SIN in Hebrew).

The pendant was free formed from a piece of sterling silver wire and cold forged for strength and delicate sparkle. Then it was wire wrapped with thin wire. It’s size is ~ ¾” (20mm) wide and ~1 ¼” (30mm) high excluding the pearl dangle. It is packed in a gift box.

The Lyre of Davis [Kinor David] is for soul, what Shield of David [Magen David] is for body.

The 3 components of this original* whimsical lyre design were free formed and cold forged by hand with hammered finish applied for additional sparkle. Then they were wire wrapped together and with the beads.

I used citrine and garnet stones for the strings of the lyre to emphasize the King David theme. According to some researchers in the breastplate of the High Priest garnet represented the tribe of Judah, that King David belonged to. ‘Ma'ariv is a word in Hebrew that refers to the time of the day when sunset takes place. This is also the time when, according to Judaism, new day begins. For new day begins with appearance of the first star that can be seen in the sky usually just before sun fully sets in. Accordingly, the New Year starts at the same time of the day, at 'ma'ariv'.

This original* Shofar** pendant depicts the colors of the sky at the time the first star appears at "ma'ariv" to announce a new day. White sapphire stone among the blue area of the pendant represents that illusive first star of the new day.

Whimsically looking scroll in the middle of the necklace spells ‘CHAI’ that means ‘alive’ or ‘living” in Hebrew. Organic form of this design represents beauty and complexity of life. This is probably one of the liveliest CHAI pendant around.

‘Carmel’ means ‘vineyard [kerem] of God [el]’ in Hebrew. I designed this lovely original* shofar** pendant to resemble both ram's horn and grapes, because similar to blowing a shofar there is a blessing over wine to recite on all the major Jewish holidays and occasions.

After making few ‘The [rain]Bow in the Cloud’ pendants I started looking for excuses to feature cheerful and uplifting rainbow in other pendants and so I arrived to this original* Chai (Life/Alive in Hebrew) design. In the Bible the ‘[rain]bow in the cloud’ is a signature of God on his covenant with Noah (see Genesis 9:11-17). I think that this life affirming image lends itself beautifully to CHAI pendants. Also, the fluid organic design of my Chai pendants make them into probably the most lively Chai pendants you come across with.

The frame of the pendant that spells CHAI is free shaped and cold forged by hand for strength and delicate sparkle. It’s wire wrapped with small beads of coral, aventurine, jade, malachite, died howlite and amethyst. Spiral accents emphasize the ‘bow in the cloud’ theme.

This is a rather whimsical OOTK Shofar* pendant neckalce. It is slightly twisted to recap a beautiful shape of ram’s horn. This organic silhouette lends the pendant its 3D effect, making it a wholly original piece of jewelry.

The pendant is made of cold forged sterling silver frame adorned with smooth FW white pearls and contrasting faceted sapphire beads. The centerpiece is highlighted with freshwater pearl accents on very delicate (0.6 mm), but strong, sterling silver cord necklace. The necklace is finished with lobster clasp and 2 1/2” long extender chain for flexibility.

Sterling silver cord is the strongest chain for its size, it is also relatively firm and lies beautifully around the neck, while leaving the central stage to a pendant.

For this lovely sterling silver charm made by a local WA artist Lois Venarchick I made a necklace in the colors of blue and white. Around the Mediterranean, blue is considered as a color that wards against 'evil eye', or brings good luck, similarly to the chamsa amulet. The Kabbalah tradition considers chamsa, or hamesh hand, amulet to represent protective hand of God*.

I added howlite beads in a beautiful lapis blue color and wonderfully shiny white FW pearls to a slightly oxidized and delicately textured sterling silver chain. Comfortable lobster clasp and 2” long extender chain add flexibility.

I also make necklace with faceted opalite instead of pearl (see the pictures). So please, let me know if you would prefer the opalite version.

Hamesh (Hamsa) amulet according to Kabbalah represents protective hand of God and is believed to ward against 'evil eye' and bring good luck. Around the Mediterranean, blue is considered as a color that wards against ‘evil eye’ similarly to Hamsa amulet.

This is original* design of Hamech/Hamsa amulet and matching necklace. Pendant’s frame is free shaped and cold forged by hand from sterling silver wire. Stabilized turquoise beads in ‘sleeping beauty’ blue color are woven onto the frame using thin sterling silver wire. Short chain of spirals is added in the middle of the 'hand'.

Chai-light pearl and sterling silver necklace.

Chai means ‘life’, or ‘alive’, in Hebrew and this whimsical pendant represents beauty and complexity of life. Chai is also a number 18 in Hebrew. Chai pendant can be a wonderful present for the 18th, or the multiples’ of 18, birthdays or anniversaries.

Elegant chandelier like focal piece is one of a smaller lighter versions of my original* Chai designs. It is free formed and cold forged for strength and delicate sparkle from sterling silver wire. The pendant’s organic form makes it into one of the more lively Chai pendants you will ever come across with. It almost breathes. I use pearl for most (but not all) of my Chai pendants because this is a “stone” created by the living creatures.

The rest of the necklace is Italian made diamond cut chain, that is finished with pearl accented claw clasp and 2” long extender chain for flexibility.

Usually I choose different tree among those mentioned in the Bible or currently growing in Holy Land for each of my original Tree of Life (see Proverbs 3:17-19) designs.

However, sometimes I just can’t resist giving myself a freedom of making absolutely freeform ‘go with a flow’ designs. Sometimes these exercises are triggered by particular stones, which is the case with this one of a kind (OOAK) Tree of Life. Dark green luminosity of the polished agate nuggets made me think of calm dark stillness of the forest on the hot summer day with occasional beam of sunlight bursting in.

The tree pendant is ~ 2 3/8” (62mm) tall and ~ 1 3/8” (34mm) wide. The necklace of wire wrapped agate nuggets and hammered sterling silver chain is 17” (43 cm) long. It is finished with custom double hook clasp, hand formed and forged from sterling wire.

The matching double strand bracelet is ~ 8” (21cm) long and is made from the same materials as the necklace. It is finished with custom double S-hook clasps that can be used to attach the piece to the necklace, to serve as an extender.

This original* pendant is letter of Hebrew alphabet – PEI (peh). It’s equivalent of the two English letters: ‘P’ as in Paula, Pamela, etc, and ‘F’ as in Faith, Frances, etc.

Whimsically looking scroll in the middle of the necklace spells ‘CHAI’ in Hebrew. Chai means ‘alive’ or ‘living”. Organic form of this original* design represents beauty and complexity of life. This is one of the liveliest CHAI designs around.

CHAI is also a number 18 in Hebrew and as such CHAI designs are traditional presents for the 18th, or the multiples’ of 18, birthday and anniversary.

The centerpiece of the necklace was free formed and cold forged by hand from sterling silver wire. Light hammered finish was applied for added strength and delicate sparkle. According to many researchers garnet stone respresented the Tribe of Judah in breast plate of the High Priest of the Jerusalem Temple. King David, the King of Judea, belonged to this tribe.

This original* distinctive Shofar** pendant combines strong presence with soft flowing 3D form. It was free formed and cold forged by hand from thicker 16gauge sterling silver wire. The frame was also twisted to resemble a form of the real ram’s horn. Slightly hammered finish was added for delicate sparkle. The frame is wire wrapped with garnet stones.

I made this lovely Tree of Life as an orange tree. Wonderfully translucent peridot chips are used for leaves and luminous red agate beads – for oranges. Hanging some “oranges” from the branches adds liveliness to the already very organic and breathing piece.

I design on paper and then form each and every pendant from sterling silver wire free hand according to the sketch, and cold forge it by hand for strength, stability and light sparkle, and then use thinner sterling silver wire to wave in designs with stone beads. The Lyre of Davis [Kinor David] is for soul, what Shield of David [Magen David] is for body.

I like wearing pins, and I was looking for a way to make pins with my wire pictures. However, as a result of my decision to limit the use of fossil fuels in my work, soldering standard pin parts to the frames was outside the solutions scope. It took time to find a way to make pins without loosing the translucent and delicate quality of my designs, and here is the first result of my experiments – my original* Kinor David, Royal Lyre of King David brooch/pin.

The pin was free shaped and cold forged by hand for additional strength and delicate sparkle and wire wrapped with thin wire, garnet and citrine stone beads. I use citrine and garnet stones for Royal Lyres and Harps to emphasize the royal theme of the House of David. According to some researchers garnet represented the tribe of Judah, to which David belonged, in the breastplate of the High Priest. Citrine stands for Golden Jerusalem - the City of David.

I choose a different “fruit” or tree name for each design when I first make it. This is a lemon tree with sparkling faceted citrine stones used for lemons and translucent peridot chips - for leaves. This graceful original* Harp of David piece is made with creamy white freshwater pearl and seed pearl. This original* whimsical pomegranate** design is my most intricate yet. It is also the largest, and the boldest one. It was free formed and cold forged by hand according to design sketch and wire wrapped with variety of garnet beads including a teardrop dangle for yummy juice of the fruit.

This clip style ‘Hamsa’ (Hamesh, protective hand of God acc. to Kabbalah) shaped bookmark* was free formed and cold forged from 18G sterling silver wire. It’s comfortable to use. It also has better hold, as it is designed with double clip as seen in the pictures. All bookmarks of this design are formed from the same length of wire, but being hand formed, the actual bookmark you get may differ very slightly from the one in the pictures.

I thought that this lovely hamsa charm made by the local WA artist Lois Venarchick (http://www.wynwoods.com) deserves more than just a chain. So I made for it a delicate necklace in the colors of blue and white. Around the Mediterranean, blue is considered as a color that wards against the evil eye, or brings good luck, similarly to the hamsa amulet.

I used stabilized* turquoise in vivid Mediterranean blue and wonderfully shiny white FW pearl beads with a slightly oxidized and delicately textured chain and a charming hook clasp. The 2” long extender chain is added for flexibility.

Length - ~17” – 19” (42-47cm), with the charm hanging down ~1” (25mm).

The necklace will come to you packed in a gift box.

I make these chains myself with sterling silver cord chains. This type of chain is used for high end Swarovski jewelry. It's very delicate to pass through the beads' holes but it's strong enough to carry a string of crystal beads rather than a single pendant. The chain is finished with Italian silver floating spring ring clasp.

The cord chain is relatively rigid and lays nicely around the neck. I only make these chains up to 18" long. While these chains are very stylish and sexy when worn close to neck with pendant or alone, they loose their appeal when they are longer.

These chains are relatively strong for their delicate thread like appearances. Silver cord chain is used in the high end jewelry to string Swarovski crystals to enhance their sparkle even more, and are designed to carry the weight of the string of crystal beads, rather than a pendant.

I make these chains myself. Most of my pendants are photographed with this type of chain.

According to Kabbalah Chamesh Hand amulet, represents protective hand of God and as such protects against ‘evil eye’ and brings good luck. Around Mediterranean blue color is believed to also serve the same functions. Of course, two Chamsas are better than one. :-)

This chain necklace is made of the 6x8mm relatively light version of hammered finish sterling silver chain and is finished with the hand forged and hammered S-style clasp that can be closed on any link of the chain. This chain can be finished with a dangling stone of your choice to suit particular pendant or with a silver nugget bead.

I offer this chain to suit the larger pendants in my shop which look equally good when worn on a long chain as well as close to neck. Most of my pendants have lightly hammered finish for a slight sparkle and this kind of chain will suit them well. It goes trough the large locket bail that comes with some pendants. Small locket bail can be easily hang through any link of the chain.

The chain is ~18” (46cm) long.

I can custom make this chain in the length of your choice. To calculate the price add $1.5 for each additional inch (25mm) of additional length. For example, if you would like 24” long chain, its price will be $45=36+(1.50 x (24-18))=36+(1.50 x 6)=36 + 9.
