This necklace was a mother/daughter collaboration. The oval shaped pendant measures 2"x1" including the 18K gold plated bail. The base is a pale lavender opaque glass base with both plain and patterned dichroic glass with touches of gold mica powder added to it. The piece is then capped with clear glass and all layers are then fused in the kiln and properly annealed for strength and durability. My daughter made the lovely glass seed bead necklace which accents the pendant perfectly. It measures 17" in length and has 18K gold plated findings.

These two little whimsical guys were inspired by my love for animals and my work with the local Humane Society. They are both made from opaque glass with bits of stringers and dichroic glass added for accent. All the glass has been properly fused and annealed in the kiln. Both animals have hangers on the back making them suitable for hanging on the wall.
The cat measures appx. 5"x 4.75" (from front paw to tip of tail).
The dog measures appx. 5.75"x 4".

These pretty little earrings are just right for holiday wear but also can be worn throughout the year. They are made in the "pot melt" style from pieces of white, red and green glass. No two pieces ever are the same but these two work nicely together. They have 18K gold plated earring bails and wires.

For those of you not familiar with "pot melt" - it is a term used to describe a technique where pieces of glass are placed in a container or pot with a hole in the bottom. The pot is then elevated above a tray or container. As the kiln heats up, the glass begins to melt and flow through the hole in the bottom of the pot and onto the tray below. The resulting design of the glass is determined by the melting glass itself. It is always a surprise to open the kiln and see what awaits.

This mixed media wall piece has a background of pieces of siding painted to affect the weathered look and simplicity of an old shed. The top are dried portions of the fruit of palm fronds. The stylized design of the family is made from opaque, clear and dichroic glass fused together in the kiln and properly annealed for strength and durability. The faces are multiple circles of glass which were fused together prior to being fused a second time to the body of the figures. Small pieces of paper were added behind the manger to allow it to appear brighter. The wall piece measures appx. 10.5"x13" (18" including the protruding palm pieces). My photography does not do justice to this stunningly beautiful necklace. The wrinkles showing on the pendant are reflections in the glass and are not apparent in the actual pendant.
The pendant was made by fusing together various colors and patterns of dichroic glass over an opaque base and capping it with clear glass. After proper fusing and annealing, my daughter designed and made the beaded necklace to showcase the pendant.
The necklace measures appx. 17" and the clasp is sterling silver.

This unique pendant has a dark blue base with patterned dichroic glass layered on top of it. Looking for a fun, funky and totally unique necklace for the new year. Look no further. This one-of-a-kind contemporary mask pendant measures appx. 2.5"x.75" including the sterling silver plated bale. It has as a base black opaque glass with several small pieces of both plain and patterned dichroic glass making up the facial features. All of the glass is then fused in the kiln at high temperatures. Several small strands of colored wire make up the hair. The necklace is made from a piece of black rubber coated wire which is attached to two small balls formed from cording which has been decorated with hand-sewn multi-colored seed beads. The back portion of the necklace is made up of cording and ends in a loop and button finding. This necklace is definitely a conversation piece.

This unique pendant has a black opaque glass base with three different patterned dichroic glass pieces in shades of mauve, pink and gold fused on top of it. The piece was fused in the kiln once and after cooling was reshaped and fired a second time. The pendant measures appx. 2 1/8"x1 1/8" including the gold plated bail. This piece looks equally at home when worn with jeans or with more formal wear.

This contemporary styled pendant measures appx. 2 1/4"x 1 3/8" and is made my placing several pieces of opaque glass, stringers, millefiori and patterned dichroic glass over layers of opaque glass and capping these layers with an additional layer of clear glass. These layers are then fused in the kiln at a very high temperature. This is a very unique pendant and can be worn with multiple types of dress. It comes with the double strands of coated wire chokers shown. These can be worn with other pendants as well either as singles or as doubles.

This lovely pendant is a full of swirls and bits of gold dichroic glass shining through the ripples of turquoise. It reminded me of the ocean and all its beauty. The glass was melted in the kiln at a high temperature. After cooling, it was shaped and returned to the kiln for fire polishing. Two gold decals were added and it was fired in the kiln for a third time. The decals are now a permanent part of the pendant. My photographs do not capture the true beauty of this pendant nor the depth that is reflected in it. The pendant measures appx. 2" x 1 1/8" including the 18K gold plated bail.

For those of you not familiar with "pot melt" - it is a term used to describe a technique where pieces of glass are placed in a container or pot with a hole in the bottom. The pot is then elevated above a tray or container. As the kiln heats up, the glass begins to melt and flow through the hole in the bottom of the pot and onto the tray below. The resulting design of the glass is determined by the melting glass itself. It is always a surprise to open the kiln and see what awaits.

This unique pendant is made from recycled glass and measures appx. 2"x1.25" including the sterling silver plated bail. The colors are mainly a blue/grey, white, dark red and a touch of aqua. It looks great with jeans on a simple cord or looks classy on more formal wear with a silver chain.

The name "Pot Melt" comes from the technique of melting compatible glass in a pot at a high enough temperature to cause it to drizzle through the hole in the bottom of the pot into a tray below. The end result is determined by the melting glass itself and it is always a surprise to open the kiln and see what the glass looks like. The glass must then be cut, shaped and returned to the kiln for fire polishing.
