Please meet baby hare Sparkle. A textile ornament of a baby hare to display fondly in your home.

Sparkle was born in the winter and she has grown to love the glistening frosts around her. She spends ages just admiring their twinkling sparkles and forgets all about her feet getting numb! Once she was even so cold that she had frost make itself at home on her whiskers, goodness! that was very exciting! Though she has an extra thick coat of underfur that keeps her really warm. She asked mama what will she do when the frosts leave? And mama said that there will always be the stars in the night sky and during the day there will be the suns reflection on the streams surface – lots to admire there! Little Sparkle is very excited to see this too. She has even noticed her mama’s eyes sparkling when she looks lovingly at her!

Sparkle has been made with great care and she has safety eyes. She has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade) bits.
However, she is not recommended for very young children and is not a toy.
She would love to sit cosily on a shelf with a view to the night’s sky and the meadow stream, and not forgetting gazing into your eyes to see the twinkles too!

She is made of a brand new linen-type material and has a polyfill stuffing, along with a full stomach of dandelion leaves (only joking!).
She stands approx 16cm high and 12cm wide. In inches – 6.5” x 5”

Sparkle is excited about her new journey and is now looking forward to her forever home!
She also wants you to know that baby hares are called leverets.
She comes with a small tag telling her story.

Priceless wanted to build a dream home for himself and Evdokia. It all began with a vision unlike any other. He remembered that Evdokia liked a blue and white house they had seen woven on a rug. Amazingly he managed to buy a similar rug on eBay! Now, how to turn it into a house… Hmmm, how was he going to do that? Hmmmm…

This little collage has been compiled from my illustrations of rabbits wearing jumpers, paper scraps and ephemera and recycled brochures and magazines. Well, they were reaching a milestone – their first anniversary! Priceless and Evdokia decided to share them with a friend – each other! They visited the sand dunes on the nape of their friendly huskies. Priceless was on Star and Evdokia was on Pheasant. They had brought along veggie burgers for brunch.

To stay in love, the wise old swan had advised them, the golden rule is to keep always laughing together. Priceless remembers this whilst he is taking in the air with Evdokia as they walk thru the gardens and he suddenly springs onto a flower – pretending it is a trampoline but immediately gets wedged amongst the stamens, oh dear! On seeing this Evdokia laughs so hard that she falls into the stamens herself! Goodness!

Baby Squirrel BeeBee Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby squirrel BeeBee. BeeBee is slightly afraid of heights which is very unusual for a squirrel. He has been tentatively making his way up the very tall branches every day to see if he can become used to the height but on more than one occasion he has had to be helped down by a mother squirrel. She tutted non-stop right to the bottom and BeeBee wondered what on earth he could do to be more like the others. One of the other mother squirrels said to him that he shouldn’t worry about this at all – some babies are scared for years before they are able to spring from branch end to branch end. Little BeeBee got a shiver just thinking about it! He just loves the ground though and spends a lot of time scampering amongst the fallen leaves, twigs, rocks and bushes.

BeeBee has been made with great care and he has safety eyes. He has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade) bits.
However, he is not recommended for children and is not a toy.
He prefers to sit on a low shelf near an open window so that he may dart outside for a scamper on the ground.

He is made of printed cotton and has a polyfill stuffing, along with a full stomach of flower buds (only joking!).
He stands approx 16cm high and 13cm wide. Approx 5” x 7” Not including his thin pipecleaner and tinsel tail.

BeeBee is excited about his new journey and is now looking forward to his forever home!
He also wants you to know that baby squirrels are called kittens and in some places – pups and other places - kits.

Arabella Rabbit Bag in Black Cord and Bear Applique Jumper donating 10per cent to WSPA

A beautiful handmade bag of Arabella my rescue rabbit. She is wearing her favourite black cord jumper. This is a beautiful soft black cord, with the cord hair lying from head to back - making it nice to stroke. On each side is an applique of a brown bear print on a brown bag with a ragged edge.

When going on a special outing why not take your art-accessory bag with you? Arabella loves going out and meeting new admirers. She particularly enjoys black tie events, being dressed the same herself. When at home she loves to doze on a shelf whilst being admired by your house guests. She has delightful brown eyes and a sweet expression.

The bag is made of machine and hand sewn parts. The straps are of a strong black webbing. The sides are padded to give the body shape. The lining is a found soft cream cotton. A small pocket has been added which can hold a mobile. The pocket is part of the same sheet the applique came from and has printed instructions on it.
The edges are hand and machine sewn together with finished seams out. The base and chest are of a black felt. It has a thin fleece padding. The face is hand painted in waterproof Gutta on a found white felt base. The legs have been drawn in with black fabric pen and machine stitched over. The plastic safety eyes are secured from inside.
This bag has been lovingly made and has a few ‘my gosh!’ and ‘tut tut’ parts due to the hand sewing and sometimes erratic machine sewing. In particular most noticible around the toes. Arabella looks striking in her silky black jumper and I hope will make you very happy.

Length approx 28cm x height 21cm x depth 6cm. Handle height from ears is approx 13cm.

Due to the small bits here and there this bag is not recommended for children under 3.

I will donate 10% of the sale of this bag to WSPA - www.wspa.org.uk This is a charity that helps animals, domestic and wild, worldwide.

Please meet baby hare Sek. Sek loves to kiss. Every since she was a smaller baby than she is now she has loved the kisses her mama bestows on her. She is always peering up awaiting the pursed warm lips that will plant a loving kiss on the tip of her tiny nose. She has been lucky to receive daily kisses and has decided that when she grows up she will become a professional kiss-on-the-nose coach. She has avidly watched many species give that all important nose-tip kiss and is becoming well versed to coach all kinds of creatures, including flies, wasps, sheep and blackbirds to name but a few.

Sek has been made with great care and she has safety eyes. She has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade, hand-drawn outline) bits.
However, she is not recommended for children and is not a toy.
She prefers to perch on a shelf surveying her territory with views to nose-tip kissing, and being admired.

A beautiful handmade greetings card featuring a cut-out print of my line drawing of my rescue rabbit Arabella wearing a Norwegian style jumper with images from my snow bunting watercolour.

This card has the message With Thanks in a blue colour just above Arabella.

‘Stop the world for 15 minutes’ Evdokia said to Priceless and please, please make me a clock like that awfully expensive one we saw in Geneva. Ofcourse my darling! said Priceless as he gathered some random whatnots, scavenged from goodness knows where, and got to work sticking and gluing. 15 minutes later it was ready and Evdokia was going to give him a special reward … uh! .. then they both realized that the face was on upside down and a little squint…

Priceless and Evdokia were celebrating their first ever cover on Time magazine for their wedding ‘The Event of the Year’ and reminiscing about the photo shoot. It made me smile - they both whispered in unison, snuggling closer together. Then they started to laugh and laugh and laugh as they remembered their whiskers poking into and tickling each other’s nostrils and trying to keep a straight face! The most important thing was happiness they said as they snuggled on their new precious rug.

Priceless was hungry, he loved blackberries and King the sparrow had said it would only take a few minutes to show him the best place to be to pick newly ripened blackberries – yum yum! He clung on tightly as King dived and soared, twisted and turned his way thru the trees avoiding the spiky branches and huge leaves. Priceless had taken a big, big bag ready to fill as he could hear his stomach rumbling and his mouth salivating. Why wait another second?

Baby Hare Milo Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby hare Milo. Milo is a very shy hare and she loves nothing more than to snuggle into the undergrowth and watch the world pass by. On hearing a leaf drop in the next field she flattens herself to the ground and waits for time to pass, her heart racing. She is thinking about taking assertiveness courses and wonders if it would make a difference. She has 2 different coloured eys, one brown and one blue and they are very, very big, so as not to miss a beat.

Robin and the Golden Egg on Fringed Argyle Wool Brooch

This is a beautiful brooch of a printed North American Robin on fabric that has been padded slightly and machine stitched.

Robin has come across a golden egg in her morning food quest! She is going to take it home and put it in her own nest - how often do you come across a ready-made golden nest egg?

Adornments have been added to the fringed argyle wool strands - 1 shiny gold tiny heart, one vintage glass bead and 1 tiny gold cap finding - all sewn on to the bottom.

Robin is proudly standing by her new egg as she sits cozily on your coat - will you be showing her off?
Machine sewn onto a piece of frayed edged cream upholstery material which has been machine sewn onto some very soft Argyle patterned wool. The Argyle has some long strands of wool dangling down at uneven lengths.
The golden egg is wooden and painted in a rustic style.
The back of the brooch has my label and the metal pin sewn securely on. It is on a small patch of black felt.

Height is 9cm x Width 15cm, the strands reach 10cm
In inches Height 3.5" x 6", strands 4"

This applique brooch is made by me and is one of a kind. There are no more golden eggs like this one! however I have more gorgeous Robin fabric like this and can make a brooch (or two) for you. Just contact me - on the right.

Please note that the robin has an russet red orangey/brown coloured breast - not red at all!

Baby Hare Fiedi Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby hare Fiedi. Fiedi loves to keep fit by sprinting and swimming. None of the hares are surprised to see him dash around the fields like a streak of lightening but to this day no-one can believe that he also loves to swim like a fish. He makes a daily foray to the quiet river and does 20 lengths – well, widths actually. The fish love to swim beside him as he paddles strongly back and fro. He has been mistaken for an otter by many of the fish until they see his tiny thin tail.

Fiedi has been made with great care and he has safety eyes. He has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade, hand-drawn outline) bits.

Horse Applique with Buttons and Ribbon on Tweed Fabric Brooch

This is a beautiful brooch of a printed fabric horse on a cream upholstery material that has been padded slightly and machine stitched.

Adornments have been added - 2 buttons and metal cap of sorts (recycled from something). They are stitched on top of a ribbon from the Australian jewellers store Hardy Brothers (nearly 20 years old!) and came from one of my purchases there.

The horse has a halter on and is waiting for his next adventure - where are we going?
Machine sewn onto a piece of frayed edged red upholstery material which has been machine sewn onto some tweed fabric. The tweed is also fraying with bits coming off as you go about your things.
The back of the brooch has my label and the metal pin sewn securely on. It is on a small patch of black felt.

Diameter in is approx 4.5"
Diameter in cm is approx 11cm

This applique brooch is made by me and is one of a kind due to the placement of the buttons, however I have more fabric like this and can make a brooch (or two) for you. Just contact me - on the right.

The brooch is shown on a grey wool coat and looks superb with grey - it really brings out the colours.
Please not that in the photos the red looks bright - but the ed is actually a deep, deep red like crimson and there is also black with it.

Baby Hare Saskia Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby hare Saskia. Saskia likes to hide amongst the flowers and tall grasses so that she may observe the visitors to the forest and glades. No-one ever suspects that they are being watched avidly by a tiny hare with the biggest pink eyes. Saskia is always ever so quiet and still. Infact her pink glistening eye was one day mistaken as a bright shiny berry and was nearly eaten by a blackbird! What cross words they both had that day! Saskia knows many, many secrets and one day she will write a book about her memoirs (but that is also a secret).

Saskia has been made with great care and she has safety eyes. She has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade) bits.
However, she is not recommended for children and is not a toy.
She prefers to sit on a shelf with the curtains and door open so that she may continue her observations. And if you want to impart secrets to her – then she will keep them safe.

She is made of printed cotton and has a polyfill stuffing, along with a full stomach of dandelion (only joking!).

She stands approx 15cm high and 12cm wide.

Please meet baby hare Roga. Roga just loves a cool breeze on his face and likes to sit facing the wind all day. He doesn’t mind if his fur is ruffled backwards either in the crosswinds. He is already showing strong Norwegian characteristics for resilience to bad weather, though to the Norwegians there is no such thing as bad weather merely bad clothes. Roga has a very sleek coat of fur which is surprising indeed and even more unusual are little husky shapes on it too! He has made good friends with a husky called Nordic and they spend time on the hill top all day taking in the arctic winds. When it gets super duper cold Nordic snuggles into Roga to keep warm.

Roga has been made with great care and he has safety eyes. He has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade) bits.
However, he is not recommended for children and is not a toy.
He prefers to perch safely on a shelf near an open window so that he may get a breeze and see his friend Nordic.

He is made of 100% recycled cotton with very happy huskies on it. Each husky has a fir wreath around their shoulders as they prefer that instead of a scarf. Polyfill stuffing, along with a full stomach of dandelion leaves (only joking!).

He stands approx 17cm high and 10cm wide.

Roga is rather excited about his new journey and is now looking forward to his forever home!

Baby Hare Trim Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby hare Trim. Trim is ready to explore the world but he is still a bit afraid of the tall grass stems blowing in the wind. He is eager to meet new friends but has a slight stutter and he is a bit nervous. His mother has enrolled him on a Baby Hare in the World Assertiveness course. So far he is doing very well. He has to walk thru patches of tall grasses and introduce himself to many strangers on the way, such as blackbird, song thrush, heron, water vole and roe deer. They all think he is a darling as he scampers along with big, big eyes.

A tiny baby hare decoration for your Christmas Tree or Twig Tree - lovingly made and a beautiful keepsake to name and pass down.

This little hare has been made with great care and has green safety eyes. He has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade) bits.
However, he is not recommended for children and is not a toy but an ornamental decoration. The decoration holder is made from my name tag.

The hare has a sage green cotton body with swimming swans and red/pink bullrushes. Unusual for hares this little one has a white faux fur fluffy Squirrel tail!

He prefers to hide amongst the fir tree branches and sometimes scamper across the mantlepiece and ofcourse being admired!

He is made of cotton and has a polyfill stuffing.

This is a beautiful brooch of a printed North American Robin on fabric that has been padded slightly and machine stitched.

Adornments have been added - 1 shiny gold button and 1 shiny plastic platinum coloured button plus a bit of shiny silver plastic strand - all sewn on top of white faux fur.

The robin is sitting patiently on your breast surveying the area and wondering what you are going to do next?
Machine sewn onto a piece of frayed edged cream upholstery material which has been machine sewn onto some very soft Argyle patterned wool. The Argyle has some long strands of wool dangling down at uneven lengths.
Above the robin's head is a small bit of shiny white lace - like a small crown.
The back of the brooch has my label and the metal pin sewn securely on. It is on a small patch of black felt.

Height is 12cm x Width 7cm, the strands reach 8cm
In inches Height 5" x 2.5", strands 3"

Please meet baby swan Anastasia. Anastasia loves to look at the stars in the sky. Usually this is the time that baby swans sleep but she is always wide awake gazing up at them and trying to spot the brightest ones My, my this keeps her busy all night long. However, during the day she spends her time poking her head under the water for the old stars that have fallen into the pond. She has a small collection of these beautiful stars – and they look rather like tiny, smooth, white pebbles.

She prefers to pose beautifully on a side table and would like to continue her star gazing and old star finding.

Please meet baby hare Augustine. She just loves to nibble on sunflower petals and most of the sunflowers in her field are just huge black circles on the end of stalks. Augustine knows that the bullfinches and other birds will come to eat the seeds in winter so she makes sure that the plant will survive until them. She is very dexterous and has learnt to shimmy up the tall stalk and deftly snip eat petal off. Some of the other baby hares have heard how good the petals taste and she snips off extra ones for those waiting below.

A beautiful handmade bag of Arabella my rescue rabbit. She is wearing her favourite Scottish made Lochcarron argyle pattern jumper. This is a beautifully soft, 70% fine wool Scottish made scarf from the Lochcarron woollen mill in the Scottish borders. The colours are rich and vibrant and very noticible.

When going on a special outing why not take your art-accessory bag with you? Arabella loves going out and meeting new admirers and in particular she loves sauntering walks in botanical gardens - with a small bite for lunch! When at home she loves to doze on a shelf whilst being admired by your house guests. She has delightful brown eyes and a sweet expression.

The bag is made of machine and hand sewn parts. The straps are of a strong black webbing. The sides are padded to give the body shape. The lining is a found soft cream cotton. A small pocket has been added which can hold a mobile. The pocket is part of the scarf and has little strands.
The edges are hand and machine sewn together with finished seams out. The base and chest are of a black felt. It has a thin fleece padding. The face is hand painted in waterproof Gutta on a found white felt base. The legs have been drawn in with black fabric pen and machine stitched over. The plastic safety eyes are secured from inside.
This bag has been lovingly made and has a few ‘my gosh!’ and ‘tut tut’ parts due to the hand sewing and sometimes erratic machine sewing. Most noticible around the toe area. Arabella looks very grand in her fine wool jumper and I hope she will make you very happy.

Length approx 28cm x height 21cm x depth 6cm. Handle height from ears is approx 13cm.

Due to the small bits here and there this bag is not recommended for children under 3.

Please meet baby hare Sparky. Sparky is a sleek, fast runner and she has keen eyes. Her vision is so acute that she can see the individual feathers in the eagles high up in the sky. She also likes to know what is going on at all times and makes many furtive dashes around her small territory though she has started to branch out and explore new areas in her daily sprees. Quite a few times she has surprised the meadow animals by suddenly appearing at their sides – giving them a start! Sparky is always on the ball and the knowledgeable owl confers with her for the latest progress reports. She is becoming a seasoned observer and is thinking about joining UNESCO when she grows up.

Baby Rabbit Angel Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby rabbit Angel. Angel was the smallest of all the baby rabbits when she was born. Her mother was very concerned and put her into the special crib nursery for extra warmth and feedings. She took longer than any of the babies to open her eyes and her growth was slow. Many nights her mother looked up to the moon and asked the rabbit angel to protect and nourish baby Angel. Her hopes were answered for tiny Angel soon grew fast, ate non-stop and is now one of the fatter babies in the nest. Every evening before she falls asleep she gazes up at the sky with mama and gives thanks for being here. As does mama too.

Angel has been made with great care and she has safety eyes. She has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade) bits.
However, she is not recommended for children and is not a toy.

Wesley Rabbit Bag wearing North American Brown Grizzly Bears Applique Jumper donating 10per cent to The Rabbit and Guinea Pig Welfare

A beautiful handmade art-accessory bag of Wesley my albino lop rescue rabbit. He is wearing his favourite grizzly bears jumper with the North American brown bears. On one side is a raised padded applique of a grizzly bear profile with shiny golden safety eyes fixed into place under the applique. They catch the light wonderfully! On the other side is a detailed print of two very large brown bears standing in a prairie. If you lift the lop ear slightly you will see the face of the hiding bear - he is rather shy and has decided that Wesley's ear is the perfect place for concealment.
At the haunches end you can see a pronghorn galloping out of the bag. He wasn't invited to lunch.

Wesley has long felt lop ears stitched into place, albino eyes and white faux fur eyelashes on a felt stitched base. He also has a small white faux fur crest

He also loves a tasty bit of citron tarte with an early grey as he sits unphased on your table top (ontop of a clean, spread napkin) as he surveys the room.

The face is hand painted in waterproof Gutta on a found white felt base. The legs have been drawn in with black fabric pen and machine stitched over. The plastic safety eyes are secured from inside.

A beautiful handmade bag of Arabella my rescue rabbit. She is wearing her favourite Persian style jumper. This is a beautiful 100% cotton Persian stle table runner - never used - and has a luxurious soft feel. The colours are a royal blue, but not a deep blue, and accented with an amazing sage/aquamarine/light teal green. Looks like a combination of all three greens.

When at home she loves to doze on a shelf whilst being admired by your house guests. She has delightful brown eyes and a sweet expression.

The edges are hand and machine sewn together with finished seams out. The base and chest are of a black felt. It has a thin fleece padding. The face is hand painted in waterproof Gutta on a found white felt base. The legs have been drawn in with black fabric pen and machine stitched over. The plastic safety eyes are secured from inside.

Baby Hare Beauty Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby hare Beauty. Beauty is a very shy little hare with big brown eyes. She rarely speaks to the others and quite often her face will feel very hot from her blushing. However, rather strangely she likes to roll around in the flowers. Not just a little flop – but a big stretch and slither over them with wiggling on her back too. She is usually covered in petals and pollen from whisker to tail. And much to her chagrin she attracts a lot of attention! Never-the-less to immerse herself in flowers is to find true happiness and freedom from her hot face flushes.

Beauty has been made with great care and she has safety eyes. She has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade) bits.
However, she is not recommended for children and is not a toy.
She prefers to sit on a shelf next to fresh flowers, maybe with a mat underneath to catch the dropped petals and pollen spores.

She is made of printed cotton and has a polyfill stuffing, along with a full stomach of dandelion leaves (only joking!).

She stands approx 17cm high and 12cm wide.

Beauty is looking forward to her journey to her forever home! She also wants you to know that baby hares are called leverets.
She comes with a small tag telling her story.

A beautiful handmade bag of Arabella my rescue rabbit. She is wearing her favourite 'Instructions of applying Appliques' jumper. This is an off-white cotton with black printed lettering.

When going on a special outing why not take your art-accessory bag with you? Arabella loves going out and meeting new admirers! When at home she loves to doze on a shelf whilst being admired by your house guests. She has delightful brown eyes and a sweet expression.

The bag is made of machine and hand sewn parts. The straps are of a strong black webbing. The sides are padded to give the body shape. The lining is a found soft cream cotton. A small pocket has been added which can hold a mobile. The pocket is of a black cord and has a shredded edge section of the Applique Instructions called 'Call of the Wild Appliques' sewn on top of the cord.
The edges are hand and machine sewn together with finished seams out. The base and chest are of a black felt and wool mix material. It has a thin fleece padding. The face is hand painted in waterproof Gutta on a found white felt base. The legs have been drawn in with black fabric pen and machine stitched over. The plastic safety eyes are secured from inside.
This bag has been lovingly made and has a few ‘my gosh!’ and ‘tut tut’ parts due to the hand sewing and sometimes erratic machine sewing. Arabella looks amazing with all those instructions and I know she will make you very happy.

I am able to adjust the length of the straps if you wish to carry this bag on your shoulder. Just let me know. I will also add a small metal popper at the top to keep the bag closed to protect your wallet inside.

Baby Hare Squirrel Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby hare Squirrel. Squirrel is a very handsome young hare with bright blue eyes. He is incredibly dexterous and nimble and to the amazement of all the hares he can climb trees and bushes with ease. Squirrel is also rather surprised by this too, but instead of fighting his gift he has put it to great use. During the day he climbs as high as he can and keeps watch over the hares nibbling in the field and if he sees a human he will let out a quick high pitched shriek. He then tries not to laugh too loud as he watches the human jump with fright (it happens every time!!).

Squirrel has been made with great care and he has safety eyes. He has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade) bits.
However, he is not recommended for children and is not a toy.
He prefers to perch high up on a very high shelf with a view to outside so that he may practice his climbing and watching.

He is made of printed cotton and has a polyfill stuffing, along with a full stomach of dandelion leaves (only joking!).

He stands approx 17.5cm high and 12cm wide.

Arabella Art Accessory Rabbit Clutch and Shoulder Bag in North American Mule Deer and White Tail Deer Jumper

A beautiful handmade bag of Arabella my rescue rabbit. She is wearing her favourite cotton Mule Deer standing with White-Tailed Deer running in the background jumper. Mule Deer are larger than White-tails, have different antler patterns and tail markings.

When going on a special outing why not take your art-accessory clutch with you? Arabella loves going on nature walks to take in the air. When at home she loves to doze on a shelf whilst being admired by your house guests. She has delightful brown eyes and a sweet expression.

The bag is made of machine and hand sewn parts. There is a daisy-chain ribbon strap to support the clutch if you need to use two hands to forage inside the bag. It has been hand sewn on, and whilst rather strong has not been tested for strength so I would advise on using the strap if the bag is carrying only light items.
There is a small popper holding the top of the bag closed with the same daisy-chain ribbon. It has been hand sewn on.

The sides are padded with washed recycled fleece to give the body shape. The lining is a found soft cream cotton. A small pocket has been added which can hold a mobile. The pocket is from a wool tweed material and neat frayed edging.
The edge of the bag has been machine stitched with a visible 4mm (roughly) seam.
The face is hand painted in waterproof Gutta on a found white felt base. The legs have been drawn in with black fabric pen and machine stitched over. The plastic safety eyes are secured from inside and protected by white felt.

Brown Hare Watercolour Study Handmade Card

A beautiful handmade greetings card featuring a print of my watercolour painting of a brown hare.

This is a blank card and can be used for many occasions. It can also make a lovely framed picture and would look wonderful beside your favourite hare porcelain ornament.

The card is A6 in size, 10.5cm x 15cm and comes with a cream coloured envelope. The card is pristine white and has a hammered texture - in the photos you can see the subtle texture. The hare mounted on a 100% recycled Australian black card which is raised on 3D foam pads adhered to the white card.

Inside it is blank for your message and on the back is my logo and details and a small image of a baby hare in a pink Norwegian jumper (the lighter summery version).

I can make these cards with specific greetings on them. Please convo me if you have any comments or would like something specific. This card has been made by me, by hand and all parts of this card are my own design and artwork.

Baby Hare Sapphire Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby hare Sapphire. Sapphire has the richest blue eyes ever, and so very large. Not so strange then that she also likes to collect all things blue. Her collection grows larger by the day and she can be seen scampering back and forth with various blue coloured objects. She is very proud of her star item – it is a big blue see-thru plastic container that she found near the ponds edge, washed it clean then tied some blue twine around the handle and pulled it home. Now it is filling up with small blue shiny stones on platinum rings, bottle caps, feathers and wool.

Sapphire has been made with great care and she has safety eyes. She has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade) bits.
However, she is not recommended for children and is not a toy.
She prefers to sit on a shelf next to her collection of blue things and would like to make daily forays for more blue items.

Baby Hare Crystal Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby hare Crystal. Crystal loves to pull at and eat all things growing from the ground. She has nibbled the new shoots down to the root and cleanly eaten the leaves from the stem. She is not too fussy about what she eats as
long as she is trimming something constantly with her teeth. And for one so small with such a voracious appetite you would think she would be rather robust, but no! – she is as slim as a twig and as light as a feather. Must be her very high metabolism and always moving jaws.

Baby Hare Pink Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby hare Pink. Pink is half albino as she has pink eyes, white whiskers, one pink side and the other side is amazingly blue! She loves this contrast and has decided that her blue side is to be addressed as Blink! Pink loves Barbie dolls and has been collecting them ever since she was a lot smaller. She hasn’t seen an albino one yet. She dresses them in only blue or pink clothes. She came across an old plastic Barbie horse on the edge of the field that she is now painting ….. pink with blue spots on the rump.

Pink has been made with great care and she has safety eyes. She has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade) bits.

It has all been stuck with glue stick and double sided adhesive tape. Most of the papers go over the edges. The backing card is in blue. Backing cards are sometimes reused card and some will have type/images on the back. Priceless has many more aceo adventures coming soon.

Arabella Rabbit Bag wearing an Authentic Blue Tartan Scottish Kilt donating 10per cent to The Rabbit and Guinea Pig Welfare

A beautiful handmade bag of Arabella my rescue rabbit. She is wearing her favourite real Scottish Kilt!! Like all Scotish kilts it has a huge kilt pin and a leather strap and buckle. This kilt is in a beautiful dusky blue - not bright, and has aubergine, mustard, black and light cream woven into the tartan. At her neck is the compulsory frills and ruffles. The left side has some silver tinsel.
The edges of the kilt have been left ragged, with bits coming off - perfect to pull at whilst waiting on your tipple from the bar.
On her derriere you can see the ruffles of her smalls.

When going on a special outing why not take your art-accessory bag with you? Arabella loves whirling around on the dance floor to the skirling bag pipes (and on table tops) at ceilidth time. When at home she loves to doze on a shelf whilst being admired by your house guests. She has delightful brown eyes and a sweet expression.

The bag is made of machine and hand sewn parts. The straps are of a strong black webbing. The sides are padded to give the body shape. The lining and outside are of a found soft cream cotton. A small pocket has been added which can hold a mobile. The pocket is from the same tartan with a frilled edge and has a scrap of lace stitched near the top.
The edges are hand and machine sewn together with finished seams out. The base and chest are of a black felt. It has a thin fleece padding. The face is hand painted in waterproof Gutta on a found white felt base. The legs have been drawn in with black fabric pen and machine stitched over. The plastic safety eyes are secured from inside.
This bag has been lovingly made and has a few ‘my gosh!’ and ‘tut tut’ parts due to the hand sewing and sometimes erratic machine sewing. Arabella is delightful in her kilt and I hope she will find a loving home and make you happy.

Length approx 28cm x height 21cm x depth 7cm. Handle height from ears is approx 13cm.
Length in Inches - 11" x height 8.5" x depth 2 3/4". Handle height from ears 5" (all approx)

Due to the small bits here and there this bag is not recommended for children under 3.

As Priceless entered the hotel gardens all he could see was a vision so undeniably beautiful that he stopped in his tracks! There sitting atop a luxurious rose cabochon was the most gorgeously stunning doe he had ever seen. The brilliant light of true beauty shone down at him as she gave him a small smile and he tripped over a rose bush and fell into the thorns! Ow!

Priceless has been travelling and checks in at his favourite pagoda. He just loves this one and has stayed here a couple of times before. He made sure to pack all his essentials for the stay – curly kale, curly kale and more curly kale. Yummy! He had to take a larger bag than planned to squeeze it all in and pay extra at airport checking-in, my my! But he will have a super stay. Nothing is better than a holiday!

A beautiful handmade bag of Arabella my rescue rabbit. She is wearing her favourite blue tartan jumper. This is a vintage 100% wool tartan kilt, never worn.

When going on a special outing why not take your art-accessory bag with you? Arabella loves going out and meeting new admirers! When at home she loves to doze on a shelf whilst being admired by your house guests.
She has delightful brown eyes and a sweet expression.

The bag is made of machine and hand sewn parts. The straps are of a strong black webbing. The sides are padded to give the body shape. The lining is a found soft cream cotton. A small tartan pocket has been added. The edges are sewn together with finished seams out. The base is a found black wool and the chest is a found black felt. The face is hand painted in waterproof Gutta on a found white felt base. The plastic safety eyes are secured from inside. This bag has been lovingly made and has a few ‘my gosh!’ and ‘tut tut’ parts due to the hand sewing and sometimes erratic machine sewing.
Arabella looks so smart in her exquisite tartan jumper and will make you very happy.

Length approx 28cm x height 21cm x depth 7cm. Handle height from ears is approx 13cm.

Due to the small bits here and there this bag is not recommended for children under 3.

Little Bird with Regal Turquoise lime and Blue Crest in Fabric on Handmade Card

This is a gorgeous handmade card featuring a delightful hand drawn bird.

The plump bird has fabric bits on his crown, wings and tail in a lovely turquoise colour with added light blue, black and white. The fabric is scraps that I have left over and too good to discard.

He is very proud of his handsome crest of turquoise feathers with a dash of lime and deep blue.

This is a delightful handmade card featuring a hand drawn bird.

Do you know someone who is Getting On? or Over the Hill? or Past It? or secretly pulling platinum strands from their head on their birthday month? and who is OVER 65 already!!!

If so - this is the card for them!

This listing is for a Custom Made card for that 'oldie' and will feature - one white cut-out baby hare with added fur detailing in pencil - For Every Year of that person's life!

This card is an Example Only - and features 70 (my gosh! now that's old!!) grey hares! As you can see - no-one is laughing!

This card will be able to fit on 95 (oh my!!) grey hares - for anyone older another card extension is needed and it will cost an additional $6. A very special listing will be made.

This is a beautiful handmade Happy Birthday greetings card featuring decades and decades of little baby grey hares. Each hare is printed then cut-out individually and adhered one by one onto the card. The hares will be arranged tastefully, they all get on well together. Some of the hares will have fur impressions representing numbers, especially the hare on the end page - just incase the birthday person thinks they are trying to kid someone.

The card is A6 in size, 10.5cm x 15cm and when opened up stretches accoridan style to 3 full card's width. It comes in a large wedgwood blue envelope. The gum adhesive is not the best so a small grey hare with double sided tape will be waiting there to hold this shock, oops! I mean surprise card inside! The card is pristine white and has a hammered texture - in the photos you can see the subtle texture. The lettering is in a subtle blue/grey shade and reading from the front says -

A beautiful handmade greetings card featuring details of a print of my watercolour painting of a resting brown hare.

The lettering is in a blue/grey shade and says Happy Birthday at the top.

Inside it is blank for your message and on the back is my logo and details and a small image of Arabella in her blue snow bunting jumper.

The card is A6 in size, 10.5cm x 15cm and comes with a cream coloured envelope. The card is pristine white and has a hammered texture - in the photos you can see the subtle texture. The hare mounted on a 100% recycled Australian black card which is raised on 3D foam pads adhered to the white card.

I can make these cards with specific greetings on them. Please convo me if you have any comments or would like something specific. This card has been made by me, by hand and all parts of this card are my own design and artwork.

Baby Hare Spot Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby hare Spot. Spot has a fascination with numbers and ever since he can remember he has been counting all the flowers on his coat. He does this daily, at no particular time and it usually takes at least an hour. Quite a few times he loses his place and has to start again but he has developed a great eye for detail and is getting better at remembering those that have been counted. As well as counting the total he also works out the ratios of white to blue to dark blue petals, coloured centers versus white and numerous other amazing little facts. Needless to say he is the maths guru of the meadow.

Spot has been made with great care and he has safety eyes. He has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade) bits.
However, he is not recommended for children and is not a toy.
He prefers to perch on a shelf, perhaps near some Pythagoras and Aristotle books.

He is made of 100% recycled cotton and has a polyfill stuffing, along with a full stomach of dandelion leaves (only joking!).

He stands approx 17cm high and 10cm wide.

Spot is excited about his new journey and is looking forward to his forever home! He is happy to help with juggling your finances and figures.
He also wants you to know that baby hares are called leverets.

He comes with a small tag telling his story.

As King of all nations, Priceless was to be an honorary guest and boarded the huge plane on the sand dunes. Such wonderful hospitality, thought Priceless, such a splendid plane. It was the very first plane to fly on hydrogen and have zero carbon emissions. Everything starts going in absolutely the right direction but then Priceless began to wonder how on earth such a heavy plane would be able to take off from a sand runway. Goodness!

Priceless loved to visit the Fountain of Pouring Dreams. He would stand under the Finger Falls for hours. Well, er, minutes. At times the water could be a tiny bit chilly. And like all the tourists he too would dream his dreams and wish for them to happen. Lately he had been dreaming of a lady forever friend. Priceless was the defender of the nation – many nations – since he was their king. He always flew over them, just to make sure that they were still there! Please meet baby hare Mei Mei. Mei Mei loves to sip tea. How unusual you are thinking that a hare should like tea but one day on the edge of the field she ventured to the small cottage with the open door and scrambled up onto a kitchen chair and then the table where a china tea cup of delicately scented tea had been poured. She took a sip and was in heaven! Every day since at precisely 1pm she has gone in for her cup of tea and has recently been left a little chunk of ginger snap biscuit. How delicious!

Evdokia knew that loyalty is the most precious commodity. She was loyally protective of the bears and had set up WC PoBePS – the World Council for Polar Bear Preservation Society. She lobbied world governments about selling out to oil companies drilling on bear land for black gold. Blue Spot and her 2 cubs helped front the campaign called Protective – Proactive – PoBeps: Land for Bears – Land for Life. Spot and the cubs were excited to be a part of it all, especially the free dinners.

Evdokia visited Spitzbergen on a cruise to see the wild polar bears at the edge of extinction. Usually it was booked out months in advance but a spot was free. Whilst
there she met Seryozhka and spent all day crouching on his huge paw as he posed for the tourists and smiled wryly at the cameras. No-one could believe that he had a tiny rabbit on his paw! They spent hours in discussion.

Brattius the polar bear had given Evdokia a copy of the magazine spread that he was featured in. It had sad stories of global warming, oil drilling permits on pristine land and polar ice melting. Priceless and Evdokia had taken a trip to Alaska to see the polar bears, they were concerned, especially with global warming. However they had become lost, encountered a bear, a pile of bones and a pile of shoes! Good grief! The bear paused, debating whether to go to the bone pile or us. The bear wasn’t baring his teeth. He was huffing and growling, his mouth wide open. They squeezed down lower in the shoe!

Arabella Art Accessory Rabbit Bag with Robin Red Breast Applique donating 10per cent to the BUAV

A beautiful handmade bag of Arabella my rescue rabbit. On each side is an applique of an American Robin. The robins are sewn onto a beautiful light cream soft damask material.
This bag has detachable straps and Arabella is designed to stand on a shelf showing her profile whilst not in use and double as a textile dry vessel.

When going on a special outing why not take your art-accessory bag with you? Arabella loves to spend time in beautiful gardens with the birds by the feeders. When at home she loves to doze on a shelf whilst being admired by your house guests. She has delightful brown eyes and a sweet expression.

The bag is made of machine and hand sewn parts. The detachable straps are of a strong but soft white webbing. They have metal snap hooks to attach to the plastic D rings on the bag. The straps have a thin tweed pad stitched on.
The rear of the bag has a metal snap hook mainly for decoration though you could choose to attach the straps to it.
The sides of the bag are padded with fleece and inside lining to give the body shape. The lining is a found soft cream cotton. A small pocket has been added which can hold a mobile. The pocket has another robin applique, an extra tuft of grass fabric and a piece of the selvedge from the robin fabric.
The edges are hand and machine sewn together with finished seams out. The base and chest are of a black felt. It has a thin fleece padding. The face is hand painted in waterproof Gutta on a found white felt base. The legs have been drawn in with black fabric pen and machine stitched over. The plastic safety eyes are secured from inside.
This bag has been lovingly made and has a few ‘my gosh!’ and ‘tut tut’ parts due to the hand sewing and sometimes erratic machine sewing.
Arabella looks so elegant with her robins and she is sure to turn heads!

Length approx 27cm x height 22cm x depth 7cm. Strap height when held, from ears is approx 23cm.
She will fit comfortable and snugly on your shoulder as long as you are not rugged up for a snowstorm.

This bag does not have a shoulder strap but one can be made for an additional $5. Please leave a note for me and I will invoice you for the $5.
This will add an extra day before posting.

Due to the small bits here and there this bag is not recommended for children under 3.

Priceless liked to sit on the sand dunes and watch the huge ships go past. It was so relaxing. He always took a small brown towel to sit on - sometimes the grass was that extra bit spikey. Priceless always wondered how the huge ships could sail amazingly close to the shore. He made a mental note to research it. The day was richly replenishing. Beautiful Brindle Greyhound extra large Handmade Card with real Grosgrain Ribbon

A beautiful handmade greetings card made with a recycled picture from a brochure of a figurine of a greyhound. It has been raised with 3D foam tape onto the front of a 100% recylced black card (made in Australia). There is a 'real' grosgrain royal blue ribbon threaded through and around the greyhound.

Inside is a small sheet of white paper with an image of one of my koala illustrations in one corner. On the back is a small label with my details.

He is waiting patiently for his daily walk! Who can resist?

The card is an extra BIG A5 in size, 14cm x 24cm and comes in an improvised white envelope. (The envelope has been adjusted by me so that the card is secure inside).

Baby Swan Leba Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby swan Leba. Leba is always dreaming. She can hear the most wonderful music all the time and in her mind see the swans dancing gracefully. She wants to become a dancer too and has enrolled in her local ballet class. Her dainty frame and long graceful neck will her make her perfect for lead roles, plus she is also very, very pretty. The classes have been exhausting though, and her feet hurt all the time but she knows this is the only thing she wants to do!

She prefers to pose beautifully on a side table and would like a space nearby so that she may continue her daily ballet lessons.

Leba has been made with great care and she has safety eyes. She has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade) bits.
However, she is not recommended for children and is not a toy.

She is made of 100% printed cotton, rich velvet ribbon on her rump, a pipe cleaner neck, faux fur on her chest and polyfill stuffing along with a full stomach of small insects and pond matter (only joking!).
She stands approx 16cm high, 14cm long and 13cm wide.

Leba is looking forward to her journey to her forever home! She also wants you to know that baby swans are called cygnets.
She comes with a small tag telling her story.

Baby Swan Odette Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby swan Odette. Odette loves to collect feathers by the side of the pond and amongst the bushes. She has a nest full of them - mainly white ones from the swans but also some blue, grey, gold and pink ones. She has been thinking what do with them all and quite likes the idea of making 'sculptural nests of feathers' for display. The other swans are all so interested in her artistic ideas!

Priceless had seen an engagement ring so big that he knew would be perfect for Evdokia. One of life’s little luxuries, the type of ring you Want To Keep! So they went to the ring maker to get Evdokia’s size. Priceless sat inside the P but Oh dear! Evdokia got stuck in Size O. and no! she didn’t want to be ‘soaped up’, nor fast for a week. However the ring was very, very beautiful and just perfect for her.

This is a beautiful hand painted ACEO Original watercolour of detail on a puffins face. The pencil strokes can clearly be seen underneath the light watercolours on the white face.

This aceo is painted on thick watercolour card. I always use both sides of my watercolour card and on the back of this particular piece is old dried adhesive with some torn paper and a watercolour sketch.

This listing is for a Custom Made card for that 'oldie' and will feature one white cut-out baby hare with added fur detailing in pencil For Every Year of that person's life!

This card is an Example Only - and features 41 (wow! that's old!!) grey hares! As you can see - no-one is laughing!

This is a beautiful handmade Happy Birthday greetings card featuring decades of little baby grey hares. Each hare is printed then cut-out individually and adhered onto the card. The hares will be arranged tastefully, they all get on well together. Some of the hares will have fur impressions representing numbers, especially the hare on the end page - just incase the birthday person thinks they are trying to kid someone.

The card is A6 in size, 10.5cm x 15cm and when opened up stretches accoridan style to another cards width. It comes in a large wedgwood blue envelope. The gum adhesive is not the best so a small grey hare with double sided tape will be waiting there to hold this shock, oops! I mean surprise card inside! The card is pristine white and has a hammered texture - in the photos you can see the subtle texture. The lettering is in a subtle blue/grey shade and reading from the front says -

Inside it is blank for your message and on the back is my logo and details.

The last photo is of Wesley my rescue rabbit enjoying his favourite food - a parsnip (looking rather like an icecream).
Wesley had a shocking start to life but luckily was rescued and spent nearly a year in a rescue centre before I found him (on the internet) and drove 600 miles to take him home - to his forever home :)

Baby Hare Ekaterina Soft Sculpture

Please meet baby hare Ekaterina. Ekaterina loves to play amongst the flowers and tall grasses. She has made friends with a fawn called Ven. When she is too tired from all the running around she snuggles down beside Ven and has a snooze. Normally Ekaterina will tell Ven a short story before they fall asleep and usually she will dream about her story too! So she has made sure to tell happy and positive stories. Usually when she is running around the meadow she thinks up all her tales.

Ekaterina has been made with great care and she has safety eyes. She has been machine and hand sewn by me and will have many ‘unique’ (imperfect, handmade) bits.
However, she is not recommended for children and is not a toy.
She prefers to sit on a shelf near an open window so that she can play with her fawn friend.

She is made of 100% printed cotton and has a polyfill stuffing, along with a full stomach of dandelion leaves (only joking!).

She stands approx 17cm high and 12cm wide.

Ekaterina is looking forward to her journey to her forever home! She also wants you to know that baby hares are called leverets.
She comes with a small tag telling her story.

A beautiful handmade greetings card featuring a cut-out print of my line drawing of a mama rabbit and her two babies. One baby in pink and one baby in blue, not that mama rabbit is stereotyping, just that these colours came out nice together and there was a special at the rabbit attire factory that week.

This card is blank inside for your own message but has Congratulations on the front above the rabbit family.

A beautiful handmade Valentines greetings card featuring a print of my watercolour painting of a beautiful rabbit sitting with her back to you. Below her it says 'Kiss and make-up'.

Looking for Love Look No More Original Watercolour Collage with Mandarin Ducks

This is an original piece of watercolour / mixed media / collage art.

This is a highly symbolic piece of art which will enhance your chances of love luck and relationship success. The mandarin ducks represent partners for life and fidelity. In Chinese tradition they are highly respected for symbols of a happy marriage. The Chinese character behind is called ‘double hey’ and is the character for double blessings and happiness. This is displayed prominently at all traditional Chinese weddings. Lastly the mountain is representative of the Feng Shui element of Big Earth, which is located in the south-west corner of one’s abode and stands for relationships.

A strong relationship has a large base, fidelity and love and happiness and like the mandarin duck will be paired for life. When this image is displayed next to your bed or in the south west area of the living room it will generate good luck chi. If you are looking for that special someone to come into your life then be mindful of the art that you have on show in your house. This lucky collage will be a reminder to you to think of long term happiness in a solid relationship. If you are with someone already then hopefully by displaying this image you will be mindful to concentrate on your relationship.

The mandarin ducks are painted in watercolour on thick watercolour paper and outlined in ink. They are stuck onto the picture with 3-D foam tape and are raised by about 2mm. The Chinese character ‘double hey’ is cut from a matt gold card with a sheen to it. It is stuck onto the card with double-sided sticky tape. The background is 100% recycled black card with flecks on it from Australia and has been painted with white and blue acrylic paint.

This is an original collage and is unique. I make a few of these collages but every one will have subtle differences, especially the watercolour painting of the ducks.

The card is approximately 8” x 10” inches and has a small border, ready to be placed in a matt mount or straight into a frame. The painted area is 7.5” x 9.5” inches.
As seen in the last picture, it has been placed straight into a simple, black wood frame.

This painting collage will be sent in a flat envelope with a stiff board.

Please note – if you have a lonely heart it will open the door to opportunities and possibilities of friendship and love. It must be accompanied by thoughts of good intention and optimism for best results.

A beautiful handmade Congratulations greetings card featuring a print of my line drawing of Arabella.

Arabella is in her birthday suit and is wearing a fluffy white faux-fur diaper with a real safety pin and has a small pearlescent toot (dummy) in the mouth.

secure future - Priceless Moments - ACEO Original Collage

Priceless has a secure future with his job – what with being King and all that! His parents though had prepared him well – he was packed off to boot camp for an exciting stint in the Army. First stop - the Norwegian fjords for Commando training! He had to leave at 3am – whew that’s early!!

This is an ACEO Original Collage. Priceless Moments - follow Priceless on his travels thru life as he gives wise snippets of advice, discovers important attributes and goes thru all the yearning and desires that we all do.

This little collage has been compiled from my illustrations of rabbits wearing jumpers, paper scraps and ephemera and recycled brochures and magazines. It has all been stuck with glue stick and double sided adhesive tape. Most of the papers go over the edges. Priceless has many more aceo adventures coming soon.

Koalas ACEO Set Koalas Five Prints

This is a set of five Australian Koala ACEOs in different poses that I painted from my koala studies and photographs whislt living in Sydney and Brisbane and visiting the koala sanctuaries there.

These were printed by a company in Australia in 1995 and some were made into handamde cards. They have been reproduced from my original paintings, done in both watercolour pencils and watercolours.

PLEASE NOTE: this repoduction WILL fade if exposed to sunlight. It is not lightfast and would be best suited to display in an album or booklet, or semi darkened room.
I'm not sure which printing process the Sydney company used but I have had them framed and they did lose intensity of colour over time.
Please don't purchase these if you wish to display them on your walls or in a sunlight room.

These aceos are printed on card. I always recycle my artwork and some of these have imperfections on the back of the cards - such as some layers of card missing from adhesives or my old name stamp on them.
Please keep this in mind if purchasing them.
(I will try my best to put in the best ones I have on hand).

When He Was King - an object of desire - Priceless Moments - ACEO Original Collage

Priceless was made king at a very young age. His crown was huge and heavy (though it did have faux fur trim!) Amongst the girls (and some of the boys) he was an object of desire looking resplendent in his court finery. He knew that the weight of the kingdom lay heavily on his little shoulders. Never-the-less he took this in his stride as he was still young and full of energy.
