In between studying transfiguration and ancient runes at Hogwarts, you can use these needles in the Ravenclaw common room. Whip up some socks for Dobby, or a hat to aid the S.P.E.W cause. Now you can show your house pride in warmer weather without wearing your scarf. These needles are based on the year 1-2 scarves from the Harry Potter movies.

These arachknits needles are size US 10.5 and 10 inches long. The size is painted on the end. I hand-painted these needles with acrylic paint and protected it with a clear coat, which gives them enough texture to keep that slippery yarn from slipping off the end of the needle. The ends are sharper than most needles, which I find useful for precise knitting. A good old fashioned k2tog can be easier when you can precisely stab through a loop!

OOAK Butter the Buttkin

Invite Butter the Buttkin home with you. He is very helpful around the kitchen and can smooth things over with your worst enemy. His innocence is so strong he is shocked at nearly everything.

As with most Buttkins, he has a bad case of gas, but he is kind enough to leave the room. Their favorite meal is a large kidney bean. They prefer to live wherever they can greet people and entertain. As long as they can brighten your day, they remain happy

Buttkins are made with love from Sculpey clay, painted with acrylic, and given a coat of polyurethane for protection. Everytime I look at one, I giggle.

Butter is 2.5 inches (6.25 cm) tall, 2 inches (5 cm) wide including his arms, and 1.5 inches (3.75 cm) deep including the tip of his tongue.

The base of the card is a dark yellow card stock. The card comes sealed in a protective sleeve with a white envelope. This card is blank inside.

For the hunter in your life who loves to knit socks. The mighty hunter can hook the bag on his belt loop and knit socks while he waits for his prey.

Inspired by my own socks knitting needs, this bag is the right size for a single ball of sock yarn, a pattern, a small tape measure, a small pair of scissors, and needles. The flap closes with a black button over a small pocket for notions. The bag is 8 inches (20.5 cm) tall by 5.5 inches (13.5 cm) wide. The small pocket is 3.25 inches (8 cm) wide by 3.75 inches (9.5 cm) tall. The latch on the back closes with velcro. Use it to hook the bag inside another knitting bag to keep this project separate, or hook it on your purse or belt loop to carry it with you.

With the flap closed, the holes one either side of flap allow the yarn to pull freely from the yarn ball so you can knit, for example, while waiting in line at the bank or riding the bus without worrying that your yarn ball will come out or tangle.

Camoflauge knitting needle case

Hide your needles in camo between knitting projects. On the outside of this needle case, the camo protects the needles from invaders. The inside is nearly completely black giving your needles a safe place to sleep.

This case would also be good storage for paintbrushes pens, and other long, thing tools.

I sewed this case on a sewing machine with black thread. The inside is 15 inches tall with a 7 inch flap to keep the needles from falling out. There are two rows of pockets, one at 7 inches long, one at 4 inches long. The case is 20 inches wide. The four pockets on the left are 1 inch wide; the 3 pockets on the right are 2 inches wide. The six middle pockets are 1.5 inches wide. With two rows of each width, that makes a total of 26 pockets. Tie the twine in a slip knot around the rolled up case for easy storage. The twine is 54 inches long.
