Everything old is new again. This hat is made from a felted sweater; she is upcycled, recycled and cicular. The shape is old school, like something grandma wore, made modern by materials and colors. The felted wool is from a namebrand sweater, the florette is from kimono silk, a button passed down from mom's stash, the trim detail from grandma's sewing box. She's jaunty and full of vim and vigor: Pearl.

She has a ribbed pattern with a mock cable twist with a nice V at the chin or shoulder, and is very elastic and will form a snug fit around your neck, like the lace colors of Victorian England. Hand knit, felted purse in shades pink. This clutch is knit is a variety of pinks, with a hint of peach and brown, including a ribbon yarn and a sparkley, fuzzy yarn, to give it a soft striped pattern with loads of texture. The handles are knit in the design of the purse-sturdy and sinple. The bag is fully lined wiht a coordinating pink cotton fabric and includes two deep interior pockets for wallet, keys and things. The bag zips closed with a soft pink zipper, embellished with a signature silver tone dragonfly (libellule) metallic charm. Another pretty dragonfly charm in silvers, pinks and purples is hand stitched to the upper corner. Easy to carry alone as your principle bag or to put in a larger bag so you can travel without excessive baggage. Soft and simple, warm and whimsical-Allison.

Knit in a chunky weight yarn, Embrasse-moi is thick and luxurious. This poncho is edged in a fuzzy, silky soft turquoise which plays off the shots of turquoise running through the body of the piece. The main yarn is a wool blend with soft greens, grays, and creams with punches of yellow and turquoise. The caplet is knit to fall just off the shoulder in size medium to extra-large, thanks to the stretch of the rib pattern. Remember when Laura Ashley designs hit the fashion scene in the ‘80’s? Here’s my nod to her Victorian flowers, but bolder and brighter. The felted portion picks up on the greens and yellows in the fabric; a yellow applied I-cord that also serves as handles. The bag includes a felted flower pin in blue, rose, green, and yellow. This little purse is hand knit is a hand painted, wool/hemp blend yarn. Hemp blended with wool makes a sturdy, wearproof fiber. The textured stitch highlights the colors of peaches, maroons and purples. She is fully lined, with a pocket, in contrasting light green cotton and has a reclaimed leather button closure. The handle is knit as a intregal part of the bag for strength and is long enough to wear across your body as a hip bag or give it a knot for a shoulder bag. Very nouveau hippie-Julia.

This nylon coated, wire necklace is strung with hand needle-felted, red and turquoise flower beads , made from 100% wool bought from etsy's copperpot and souptoknits. The crimp beads are silver plated. To funkify and punkify, and to add weight to impossibly light felted beads, the necklace has smokey black acrylic beads, recovered from a belt, and turquoise stone and red glass beads which are strung in between the flowers, assymetrically.
